24/08/2024: It's been a while since I've had Indian food, and I wasn't disappointed. The dishes you can order are quite classic, full of flavor and delicious. The service is attentive, the restaurant is well located, right in the city center creating an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. It’s an exotic address to discover in Sainte Maxime.

The service is impeccable: the staff are welcoming, attentive and give good advice. The atmosphere is warm, with careful decoration that invites you to travel. An ideal place to have a great time and discover the flavors of India. I highly recommend!

23/09/2024: We came to have dinner at this restaurant. The retro atmosphere is charming, everything is very clean and well arranged. The appetizers were delicious, except the watermelon one where the contrast with the onion was too pronounced, I couldn't finish it. The same goes for the tomatoes: the dish demonstrated technique and research, but in terms of taste, nothing exceptional. The pork was very good, but the sage flavor inside the roast was perhaps a little too present and did not leave enough room for the demi-glace, although it was skillfully prepared. The olive dessert really surprised me, I highly recommend it. The choice of bread and the service in general, in a bistronomic style, deserve. Some pairings should be rethought, perhaps with a little less technique but more familiarity in flavors. We will definitely come back to try new dishes.

30/09/2024: Loved this place! A great discovery, hidden away in Montparnasse. The lunchtime menu was great value for money. Delicious authentic galette, crêpe for dessert, cider and coffee for 14€50 ! And very friendly service. Merci beaucoup ! :)

02/09/2024: A most frosty welcome from the manager, annoyed and disdainful from the doorstep. I strongly advise you to go your way if you want to have a pleasant time. (According to the answer below it is not the manager... so I confirm that it is indeed this restaurant and the person I am talking about provided telephone and physical reception last Saturday. She is a blonde woman in her sixties.) I am responding to your message again. 1) we have made several prestigious tables with smart box, there is always a suitable menu which is even visible on the smart box site, you are the first restaurant which does not wish to communicate the menu neither via the smart box site, nor during from the reservation to the telephone. What is the goal? We actually had food intolerances we needed to know the menu when booking by phone, but you replied that the chef will accommodate in all cases. We insisted by telling you that even if the chef offered us something that suited our intolerances it might not suit our tastes, and that we needed to know so as not to find ourselves ordering something by default. . The chef's proposals can't be unlimited anyway? Even though you have no idea what foods we like or don't like, you replied annoyed that he will adapt anyway. We were very surprised but we still made the trip out of curiosity. 2) Arriving in front of the restaurant, it was actually not yet 7 p.m. we only wanted to locate it and take a look around the village but you invited us to go inside. 3) once in the restaurant we thought you could FINALLY have access to the menu!! But still not 🤣 you huffed and indicated that you still hadn't had lunch. What class. Once you had quietly finished your lunch you came straight to us to ask for the smart boxes, that borders on rudeness. The customer asks you for the menu, and you ask for payment. It’s appalling. 4) during our telephone conversation you were so insistent on not giving us the menu that you forgot to tell us to print the smart box. And we wouldn't have made the trip if that were the case. Indeed you didn't know it but we had no way of printing, we were on a weekend in the region. So if you had told us as you claimed we would have gone to another restaurant, which is what we ultimately did. And for the final restaurant reservation, we took the initiative to ask if it was necessary to have the printed voucher. The restaurant told us that it was indeed better to have it printed but if that was not the case they would take care of it. We asked if we could be denied access, to which they replied “certainly not”. Surely you lack professionalism. In any case you have to accept that your way of doing things is quite confusing, a customer is charmed by a menu, by the welcome and by the service of a restaurant. To conclude, I simply do not recommend smart box experiences in your establishment.
