23/02/2026: Mixed feelings. We were among the first to book for the special Valentine's Day evening and were seated right by the entrance, which meant we felt a freezing draft every time we went in and out... and unfortunately, they couldn't move us. The amuse-bouches, starters, and main courses were quite good, but the dessert was disappointing—really ordinary, bland, and small. It tasted like it was frozen... and if it wasn't, unfortunately, it certainly didn't taste good. The service was also a bit disorganized, although the staff were friendly. For a bill of over €100, I unfortunately won't be repeating the experience. It's a real shame because we had already been a few years ago, and in our opinion, the quality was better then.

14/02/2026: For Valentine's Day, we went for lunch. It was excellent, from the appetizer platter to the dessert. Everything was delicious. All the staff were very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it and we will gladly return.

06/01/2026: We've been regulars at this restaurant for years, and its original excellence remains undiminished. From the warm welcome and efficient service to the intimate stone dining room (perfect for cooler weather) and the magnificent terrace with its panoramic views of the lake and city walls, everything makes us want to return. The cuisine is exquisite, consistently showcasing delicious flavors and originality in every dish. In short, highly recommended... and we strongly advise booking well in advance, as we're clearly not the only ones who adore this place.

The waitresses were very pleasant and attentive, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the restaurant isn't noisy, which is much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

20/01/2026: On Monday and Tuesday all restaurants in le Bugue close, but this little one, just next to the fire station stays open and even though we were the only people in there, the service and the food were awesome, great steak, home cooked chips, simple but lovely. Def recommended any night but we'll done for staying open when the rest of town is closed it saved our night.

20/01/2026: What a great place!! Our first day in France and not good at speaking French but they were lovely and patient. They understood enough English to help with ordering and even had a laugh with us about our poor attempt at French. Food was excellent. Great value! Free Limoncello after our meal. We leave Avignon tomorrow morning but if we ever come back we’ll be straight here! Highly recommend!!

09/01/2026: I discovered this lovely restaurant for the first time at the end of December with my girlfriend. The setting is magnificent, the welcome was simply excellent, and the meal was truly delicious; it easily deserves a rating above 4/5.

04/03/2026: Excellent crepes, very pleasant waiter, but avoid the drab back room which is very poorly soundproofed. It's difficult to hear each other when all the tables are occupied; it's very noisy, which is a shame.

14/02/2026: Fantastic, wonderful. We went on our first night in Aix last Friday and found a table without any problems. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same luck the next night, but we'll definitely be back in May. A must-visit for vegetarians and vegans everywhere. We had, without a doubt, the best leek tart ever, and a truly delicious veggie burger with potatoes. The creamy appetizer soup was also excellent. The guy who does a great job all by himself was really kind; despite this, the waits aren't too long. Really excellent prices.

13/01/2026: Fantastic experience. Impeccable service, and the music was really great. I had the DIY steak tartare. Simple and delicious. Special mention to the waiter who was incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it for a family evening out while enjoying La Palmyre.
