23/06/2026: This shop is brimming with wines and aperitifs of all kinds, some even quite vintage. You can easily find your favorite aperitif or wine on the wall shelves. The welcome is very friendly, almost inviting a warm chat, which I was delighted to experience. Alternatively, sitting down with a friend for a mixed platter (cheese and charcuterie) accompanied by a small glass of wine is an appealing option, and it must be said, the value for money is so good you'll want to come back again and again.

11/08/2026: For a restaurant that aims to be "mid-range," the offerings are a bit limited; for example, with the glass of Crémant, it would have been nice to receive an akouski (a type of liqueur). The most egregious thing is the €1 supplements, minimal in themselves but ridiculous for the most expensive menu item! As for the food, the risotto made the sea bass feel heavy. In short, I'm not convinced I'll be back, given the €116 bill without wine for two people!

12/07/2026: Tried it tonight for a birthday and it was absolutely fantastic! The menu had a wide variety of choices (for all dietary needs), the dishes were delicious and truly original compared to other crêperies, and above all, the service was perfect. Thank you to the two servers who were very friendly, quick, and attentive, making sure we had a wonderful evening.

17/06/2026: I booked a room with a balcony and the view of the river is very nice, as is the location. The hotel is clean and the staff are lovely.

04/06/2026: The most helpful and wonderful people we met during our journey in France. Long story short: I injured my leg, and while driving back home, our car broke down near Ussel. As we urgently searched for a place to stay, we ended up at the Grand Hôtel—and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. François helped us with absolutely everything: communicating with the workshop, finding local services, and, most importantly, providing us with a charming and comfortable place to stay. His kindness and support helped us cope with all the unexpected problems that suddenly came our way. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. To my mind this hotel could be a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surrounding region. A million thanks to François and the entire team for their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care. We will never forget your help during a very difficult moment of our trip. Highly recommended!

11/06/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother's 90th birthday. A private room was reserved for the occasion. A perfect experience from start to finish! The welcome was warm, the service was quick and attentive, and the dishes were a true delight for the taste buds. The ingredients were fresh and wonderfully prepared. A must-visit, we will definitely be back!

03/07/2026: Good but expensive. I ordered one (yes, one) beefsteak tomato with creamy sauce. I was asked if I wanted fries on the side. Well, why not? The tomato was flavorful, the seasoning was generous but perfect. But when the bill arrived, I discovered that the fries were actually mandatory, and for the portion size, they weren't cheap. The main course was €14, and the few fries were €4.10! With the drink, the total came to over €25. What a shame.
