28/09/2026: The narrow passage to Vieux Comtois is easy to miss; after passing through a courtyard, a dimly lit door finally opens the door to the region's culinary delights. Upstairs, there's a small dining room with three tables, so almost all the guests head down to the spacious cellar. A mistake, in my opinion, because upstairs you have a view into the kitchen and can observe the work of the owner and chef, who is one and the same. A true original, whose dishes are inspired by the seasons. I had the Boite de Chef: a potato gratin with Morteau sausage and a cheese that's only available from September to April. There was also morel soup and cooked and raw ham on a green salad. Without French, you're at a loss, although the waitress uses photos of the dishes on her smartphone to guide you. To accompany the meal, I enjoyed an excellent Chardonnay from the Jura region, from Maison Gouilland. A truly special place that's definitely worth a visit.

Excellent local cuisine, impeccable service (haha), smiles and laughter galore, a beautiful vaulted cellar with exposed stone walls—I never expected to be so charmed by this little restaurant at the end of a cul-de-sac with its magnificent courtyard (which could certainly use some sprucing up!): a wooden entrance, a stone cellar, a real treat. All for under €20, no reservation required! Highly recommended.

12/09/2026: An unusual, wonderful place, steeped in history. Attentive service, a beautiful terrace overlooking the port, we even tasted grapes from the vine! Superb!

16/08/2026: Exceptional!!! If you want to spend an evening without having to worry about a thing, this is the perfect place. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and attentive. The private room upstairs is equipped with everything you need for a great evening. The buffet is delicious. The adjoining terrace is fantastic for taking a break between dance sessions, and also for smokers. Thank you again for this wonderful evening.

15/08/2026: My wife and I were welcomed at the last minute (and slightly early) yesterday and had one of the best evenings we've had in recent memory. The service was exceptional, very accommodating and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious (especially the homemade jam that comes with the foie gras and the beef main course). I 100% recommend stopping by and will return next time I'm in the area.

05/09/2026: A great find! A restaurant that isn't particularly attractive from the outside, but holds a pleasant surprise inside with its vintage decor. The food is good and reasonably priced. My only slight complaint is that the portions are a little small. As for the service, it was impeccable: quick, efficient, friendly, and very professional.

07/06/2026: Everything was magnificent. We came here straight from the train station, luggage and all and they were so accommodating with holding our stuff during our meal. We ordered 2 bottles of wine, 2 appetizers, 3 different entrees and 2 desserts for a party of 4. The Veal Cheek was the highlight of the night!

A comfortable and well-appointed room, but above all, remarkably refined, generous, and sophisticated cuisine worthy of the finest restaurants. And then comes the breakfast… absolutely exceptional! I have rarely experienced such quality and generosity: numerous cakes and traditional regional specialties, cheeses, charcuterie, homemade waffles… A veritable feast to start the day, worthy of the grandest 5-star hotels. Without exaggeration, one of the most beautiful and best breakfasts I have ever had. A real little haven, with a consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere; you immediately feel at home. A small menu that changes regularly, homemade cuisine that's always a delight. From the welcome to the plate, everything is perfect. It's become our go-to spot for a relaxing and delicious evening. A must-visit! 😍

31/08/2026: I can highly recommend Polly and Cie! The food was exceptionally delicious at fair prices, and the service was very friendly and attentive, even providing us with an English explanation of the dishes. Since the area is somewhat quiet, you can comfortably sit and eat outside.

28/08/2026: An unusual and welcoming bistro that beautifully blends the old and the new. Very pleasant for a coffee on the terrace or some tapas, with live music adding to the convivial atmosphere.

The dishes advertised sounded genuinely interesting, but the result was very mixed. In short, we were left wanting more, not in terms of quantity, but in terms of the quality of the execution and the perceived quality of the ingredients. Not exactly thrilling. Sorry.
