21/08/2026: A magnificent place steeped in history. The abbey, nearly 900 years old, is remarkably well-preserved in some areas. A true monastic setting, typical of the 12th century: very austere, with little light... The architecture is breathtaking: arches, keystones, fountains, and more. All this while knowing that it was the monks who built this place. A must-see. It's a shame that the entire site isn't accessible. A visit lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour.

29/08/2026: A great find! The restaurant is lovely, the service is friendly, and the food is really good. Everything was well-prepared and the portions were just right. We didn't have to wait long, and the staff was available whenever we needed anything. Good value for money and a very enjoyable experience. We had a great time and would gladly return.

03/10/2026: A warm and friendly welcome... a beautiful view of the salt marshes and the port of Porto Vecchio. We ate at the restaurant several times during our stay in Corsica, and this one is among the best in the "reasonable" price range! The pork cheek with beer and chestnuts was excellent, not to mention the dessert! An address to remember, and one I think we should return to in order to try other dishes! 😉🎉 Thank you!

Besides, Madame is always so nice and attentive; I always get fresh water and a treat. The food must be very good too; it always looks and smells amazing, and the plates are always empty. 25/07/2026: We recently dined again at L'Ecuyer Normand, a restaurant we greatly appreciate. The dishes are always of high quality, and we discover new flavors each time, with a careful balance of sweet and savory and just the right seasoning. From the outside, the restaurant is discreet, perhaps too much so, as it's not prominent enough and is overshadowed by the pizzeria next door. But once you step inside, it's a warm and welcoming place with friendly owners who love their work, a rare thing these days. In short, if you're in Chandai, stop by; you won't regret it. Below, our first visit: Our first experience at this restaurant (but certainly not the last). Warm atmosphere, very pleasant service and welcome. From the €40 menu, I recommend the skate tataki as a starter—a real treat, although in fact, the entire dinner was excellent, and the seasonings were just perfect. There were four of us, and we all felt the same way when we left. A big thank you to the chef and the young waiter.

27/07/2026: On our bike ride from Poulfoën to Site de Meneham, we stumbled upon this bar and restaurant that was a breath of fresh air. Excellent service and superb, homemade, and varied food. A fantastic buffet at a very reasonable price. When you're a tourist, what you should really want is to find places like this—authentic establishments that reflect the local character.
