22/04/2026: This is a simple place, a no thrill restaurant to eat a galette or a crepe in Saint Jean Pied de Port. Prices are low but the food is tasty. It is located near the central church. Sometimes, a musician sits at the foot of the church's stairs and play some soothing music.

The dishes were absolutely delicious, with rich, flavorful dishes that were a real treat – the kind of experience we wish we could have more often. The service was simply fantastic: warm, attentive, and very friendly from beginning to end. We had a great time, and a special mention goes to the kindness shown to our dog. We highly recommend this restaurant!

09/05/2026: A wonderful place that's a local grocery store selling regional products, a bar, and a restaurant all in one. We ate at the restaurant and the dishes were delicious and very original. We'll definitely be back! The owners are also lovely!

11/05/2026: Discovered a little pizzeria near L'Isle, where we enjoyed an excellent Périgord-style pizza, thin crust with quality ingredients, and a delicious peach panna cotta... a very pleasant and charming atmosphere. 30/04/2026: A wonderful discovery at Pizzeria des Gours. The setting is simply exceptional, right on the water, with a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The welcome is warm and the service impeccable. The pizzas are excellent: perfect crust, generous toppings, and quality ingredients. A place to recommend without hesitation.

25/05/2026: Located near our hotel in the Brillouet area, we visited La Pataterie for the first time and were thoroughly satisfied. The meat was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the side dishes—starting with the puffed potato chips, a new discovery—were excellent, as were the desserts. We returned the next day, ordered different dishes, and enjoyed our meal just as much. On both occasions, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. We will gladly return!

18/02/2026: A memorable place, with a very effective decor and concept. The waiter is friendly, the waitress a little less so, but still professional. The menu is appealing, the charcuterie is decent, the brocciu crepe is equally good, the veal sauté with olives is pleasant, and the corn polenta is also acceptable. Overall, the food is good; the quality of the dishes is satisfactory, though not reaching the island's top standards, sometimes at the same price. It's definitely a place worth discovering.

16/05/2026: My wife and I were making a quick stop near Vesoul to take possession of a property we'd bought in the area. We'd looked into restaurants in the region and had decided to go to one in a larger town, either Vesoul or Luxeuil. And then, during our conversation with the seller, he recommended Restaurant Rémy in Saint-Loup. "You'll see," he said, "they offer everything from a classic menu to a gourmet menu." We went to Saint-Loup without much enthusiasm. Wow! A magnificent building! The courtyard is extraordinary! So, we went inside. Wow! The decor was perfectly suited to the occasion. Wow! The dining room was impeccably designed. We took our seats, and the owner gave us a choice between the "gourmet menu" (the quick option) or the "gastronomic menu" (very tempting). We had 200 km to drive home, so we opted for the gourmet menu. She then presented us with the menu, featuring incredible ingredients. We nodded, not quite knowing what was in store for us. Here we are. The amuse-bouche (made with ingredients we would never have thought of) arrives. "Enjoy your meal, my love!" Incredible, amazing, delicious! Now for the starter! Incredible, amazing, delicious. And this continued right through to dessert. I should add that the wine was excellent as well. And then, it was time to leave! We had carefully read the menu before coming in, but "This is impossible," I told ourselves! "It's a meal costing over €50/€60 (per person)!" Drumroll: Less than €40 per person. Bravo, congratulations, excellent, delicious, to the chef first and foremost, to the staff, for bringing these exceptional flavors and combinations to life in this superb setting, this tradition of a love for food. Ahhh, how disappointed we'll be next time we go to a restaurant near us. (They're excellent, but not the same.) Note: I'm absolutely not the type to write reviews that will be read by the whole of France, but unfortunately, it has happened far too often that we've been disappointed, even very disappointed, by the food. So I'm sorry for writing such a long rant, but it was necessary, for them, for tradition, for the obligation to eat properly. Thanks again, and I hope to see you very soon.

15/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Good value for money considering the quality. The establishment is well-decorated and welcoming. Beautiful tablecloths and white napkins. Impeccable service. Smiling and friendly staff. Good, tasty, and original cuisine, with interesting flavor combinations. A rare find these days: the cheese platter is included in the €48 tasting menu, and there's no limit to the number of cheeses you can try – well done! My second visit, and I'm still just as impressed. I'll be back.

05/04/2025: dommage vraiment un peux déçu service au top jeune fille très pro rien à dire la dessus aceuille plutôt pas mal , mes la arrivée à table verre sale , parmesan vide et on passe commande des boissons on demande des sup sirop 3 euros scandaleux × 3 / 9 euros j ai fais un spasm la vérité la serveuse en lui disant que c est abusé à vite rectifier le tire mes si nous ne disons rien cela serait passé bref on le retentera avec l escalope millanaise

31/03/2025: Le cadre de ce restaurant est très beau, dans les vieilles pierres Montpelliéraines, salle sous de belles voûtes. L'accueil est très sympathique, mention spéciale pour la petite dame de l'accueil charmante et adorable, tout comme les serveuses. Les plats étaient délicieux, les proportions très biens et très digestes, important de le préciser. Tout était bon 👍😋😊
