The food is a feast for the palate. Local cuisine, prepared with care and quality.
The courtesy of Fred and the staff is enhanced by Catelijne's live piano performance. Not to be missed!

27/09/2026: Forced smiles from the moment we arrived, a decent but unremarkable meal (the "Les Roseaux" menu) with overcooked, dry duck leg and equally dry fries. Thankfully, the setting is idyllic, but nature alone doesn't guarantee quality food. We felt like we were intruding: a group of 20 was about to be seated, and our service was rushed. Disappointed by the experience; we had been here 50 years ago, and the atmosphere was completely different. A bit pricey, too, considering the quality.
19/09/2026: We used to come to this restaurant 30 years ago. How can I put it? "It's the same, only better!" Well done to the whole family and team. Don't hesitate.

06/09/2026: We'd heard about it, so we tried it. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of choices. Nice concept: you pay for the set menu upfront and then serve yourself.
I recommend it.
The best thing is to give it a try and see for yourself! 😊😉

18/09/2026: As a tourist, I naturally wanted to try the local specialties. The beef and liver weren't very good, but the sauce was quite unique. The crème brûlée was ridiculously sweet, thankfully the pine nuts added a nice touch. The restaurant's location in the basement wine cellar was actually quite special, and the atmosphere was nice, but the waitresses were really grumpy and rude! I noticed they were all hostile to other customers, which was really outrageous.
18/09/2026: Sat down for a busy lunch, fully recommend making a reservation beforehand. You get a real sense of history and legacy dining in the space. The focaccia topped with caramelised onions and anchovies was particularly delightful. The gnocchi and lamb stew dish was also a great choice. The vegetable soup was quite standard but offered the opportunity to taste something simple.

12/08/2026: A great find! The Iced Coffee Latte was truly excellent: fresh, creamy, well-balanced, and very pleasant, especially in this heat.
The service was also very friendly and welcoming. A great place to enjoy a good coffee; I'll gladly return!

09/09/2026: The shop is nice and visually appealing; I haven't yet tried their tea room, but I think you can generally find the tea you're looking for. However, finding the shop closed with no other information displayed in the window during opening hours doesn't look very professional. It's a shame, especially since the staff are friendly.

The side dishes were too light, with the lamb shank and just two tiny fillets of sea bream, which had quite a few bones – a shame, because everything else was well cooked. The bill was high for the portion size, and the management was a bit too commercial.
04/09/2026: A wonderful evening spent at this restaurant with a friend! 🥰 Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff is lovely and truly attentive, which makes all the difference.
Special mention for the salad meal, a fantastic discovery—as delicious as it was generous! 😋 The terrace is also very pleasant, with enough space to enjoy your meal in peace and chat without feeling crowded.
I highly recommend this place; we will definitely be back!
