07/05/2026: Our family has been coming to La Fresque for the past 10 years--each year when we return to Paris for a month, we eat at La Fresque as often as we can. We love good unpretentious French cuisine at an affordable price that has great value and La Fresque hits it every time. Their lunch menu at 20 euros include an appy and a main or main and dessert. For the appy, there is always a choice of 5 different things and at least 4 to 5 for the main and 4 to 5 choices for dessert. Their menu changes daily especially for lunch and everything is fresh from the market. Bulots, white and green asparagus, home made raviolis, and more. mains....bavette beef (steak) with pepper sauce with scalloped potatoes and the steak is full of flavor. The scalloped potatoes is so rich and tasty and melts in your mouth. There was also fresh fish, tandoori chicken, and vegetarian lentils. Everything we have had this week have been absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. La Fresque cooking tastes like home cooking and it is not a tourist trap. A glass of very good wine is only 3 euros and a house bottle is 12 euros. Service is always efficient and friendly at La Fresque and they will never rush you for your table. There is a choice of a table outside of inside and you can people watch during your meal since the restaurant is across from Les Halles shopping center with pedestrian walkway only. We love eating at La Fresque and you get excellent value for home cooked French food that is a good portion. We will be returning again in a few days for more great dinners and lunches.

07/05/2026: I discovered La Fresque several years ago and I love going back. The menu changes regularly, is always carefully prepared, the atmosphere is great, and you almost feel at home. Special mention for the appetizers; I love being able to order three in one set menu.

15/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant yesterday. The setting is pleasant, warm, and relaxing, and the welcome was quite friendly. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to compensate for a very disappointing overall experience. The service was particularly slow: over 2 hours and 15 minutes for three people, even though the restaurant was far from full. This wait was difficult to understand and significantly impacted our meal. As for the food, we were disappointed. The rib-eye steak was very fatty, under-seasoned, and lacked any real flavor. The fries tasted like they had been reheated, which is very disappointing for a dish at this price point. My carne alentejana dish had a good taste, but the quantity and quality of the ingredients were unacceptable: many large pieces of fat, very little meat to eat, just a few clams, and a truly minimal portion of fried potatoes. For a dish costing €32–35, the value for money is clearly very poor. It's a shame, because the place has potential and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the wait, the portion sizes, and the quality of the food are disappointing. Despite its attractive setting, it's not a restaurant we would recommend.

15/05/2026: A good restaurant, the food is tasty and plentiful, with a special mention for the foie gras. The wine list is extensive and the setting is pleasant. Our only complaint is that the desserts didn't live up to the other dishes; the chocolate fondant tasted mass-produced and the floating island lacked any caramel flavor. Finally, the price is high considering what the restaurant offers. Despite this, it's a good restaurant where you can eat well in a pleasant atmosphere; you can go there, you won't be disappointed.

28/03/2026: We've eaten at this restaurant several times; it's right at the foot of the slopes. The welcome was excellent, and the waitress was very friendly. There was a good selection on the menu. The pizza was very good, and the daily special was also great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

28/03/2026: This is a gem of a hotel in the beautiful town Beaune. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful, rooms elegant, spacious well appointed and comfortable. It couldn’t be closer to the railway station but there is no train traffic disturbance. I’d recommend a meal and a glass of wine or two at the restaurant. I hope I’ll stay again.
