07/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and we're so glad we did. A warm welcome and excellent food. Everything was perfect, we'll definitely be back.

03/12/2025: We didn't want to react impulsively, in the heat of the moment. Two months later, we are still outraged by the attitude of some of the staff at the small manor house. The context: customers for 10 years, a busy Saturday night, a table for two, two courses (starter and main) consumed in 1 hour and 37 minutes (reservation time 8:15 pm and receipt at 9:52 pm). The starter was served fairly quickly, but we had to wait almost an hour for the main course. The waitress came to apologize because she had forgotten to place our order with the kitchen. We made a comment (understandably impatient) when we finally received our food. Unfortunately for us, we were literally attacked when it came time to pay the bill by the "owner," who advised us to go somewhere else if we were "in a hurry." Instead of apologizing, her behavior was brutal and discourteous. We were so stunned that we were speechless in the face of such aggression and bad faith. We used to enjoy going to this restaurant; we will never set foot in that (tiny) manor house again.

23/11/2025: A delicious local culinary journey... (and I don't understand English). We had the First One Menu!! A real treat! I'm usually very critical, but not a single flaw here!!! The waitress's youthful energy, combined with her excellent experience, guides you through the 9 courses, executed like a true chef! (You have to be careful, sometimes they're just former mechanics.) The porcini mushrooms were cooked to perfection... the sole was so delicious I could have eaten it for dessert too!!! To put it simply, you reach the end, and that's when you feel relieved to have enjoyed such a superb meal... for me, it's the must-try gastronomic experience in Bayonne... I thank the lady who invited me...

01/12/2024: Very nice place to take a break in the afternoon, very good tea and hot chocolate. Accompanied by blueberry or banofee tarts, I highly recommend this place. Be careful it fills up quickly in the afternoon

09/11/2024: Une très belle découverte lors d’un repas entre amis. Nous avons vraiment adoré pour plusieurs raisons. Des plats d’une justesse culinaire impeccable, de l’œuf molllet croustillant aux champignons, en passant par le paleron confit servi avec un accompagnement de petits légumes présentés sous une fine tartelette, le tout agrémenté de petite touche d’émulsion de châtaignes. Le désert était top avec un baba revisité à l’armagnac à l’orange de la célèbre maison Denoix. Ce fut un plaisir de discuter avec la patronne: beaucoup d’écoute , de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Bref un vrai coup de cœur, à refaire sans hésitation

21/09/2024: Très déçus et TROP ONEREUX !! :-( - portions trop petites : le porc Quintoa à 25€ par personne (pas assez moelleux et fondant) comportant seulement 3 morceaux et quasiment pas d'accompagnement !! - la pavlova pour 2 avec seulement quelques tranches de pèche l'intérieur pour 25€ !! (très insuffisant pour 2) - la bière à 6€ en bouteille 25cl !!! le verre de vin 10cl d'Irouléguy à 6€ et le cidre à 7€ les 25cl !! - assiette de charcuterie locale quelconque à 22€ ! + musique TROP FORTE , Désagréable, rendant difficile la discussion à table !! (on est censé être dans un restaurant gastronomique et pas un bar !!) Je suis sorti en ayant encore faim alors que je ne suis pas un gros mangeur et mal au crâne !! Dommage car le cadre est agréable !

08/09/2024: Un accueil des plus chaleureux ( sans réservation!),on nous propose la terrasse à l’arrière.Des cocktails excellents très peu sucrés et sans alcool.Une carte avec un choix de poissons formidable,mais vous trouverez votre bonheur avec de la viande .Un super menu .Je goûte pour la 1ère fois une Bourride de Sète ….divin !!!Pas la peine d’aller à Sète!!!😉 Un service au top ,particulièrement le serveur qui connaît son métier et les mets proposés. Notre fils y est allé 3 jours après avec un copain par hasard …..et ils se sont également régalés surtout avec le café très très gourmand !!! Il nous tarde d’y revenir tous en famille 😋

25/08/2024: Je modifie mon précédent avis car depuis et je remercie Mr Simon, on nous a contacté pour s'excuser de l'oublie du gâteau d'anniversaire. Au final, les plats sont toujours bons, le service (en semaine) pauvre mais nous y retournerons pour donner une autre chance à cet établissement qui, je pense, le mérite.

08/12/2025: We dined twice in December at this ideally located restaurant near Goury and its hiking trails. The owner is incredibly attentive and will prepare, upon reservation, a grilled lobster, flambéed tableside and served with a beurre blanc sauce, which will leave you with an unforgettable memory. The other dishes on offer are succulent; everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. The sea bream with chorizo ​​slices is a delight, the "Normand" puff pastry is superb, and the caramel pear with a scoop of ice cream... We absolutely recommend it. The quality of the food is becoming increasingly rare. You leave satisfied and delighted, without anything feeling greasy or heavy, and the price for the quality served is very reasonable. A huge thank you again to Mr. Boulay for these wonderful moments.

09/10/2025: A slightly dated establishment, it's true, but very clean, with guaranteed warmth and attention. A starter and main course menu at the unbeatable price of €25. Simple dishes but very well executed with ultra-fresh products. Sea bream, cider-infused ham, and warm pear with a little homemade caramel sauce are absolutely delicious. Don't hesitate to step through the door.
