I can understand the desire not to finish too late, but it seems contradictory given the wait. The staff apologized and offered discounts to some tables but not others.

17/06/2026: We had made a dinner reservation as a precaution, but it may not have been necessary as it was not yet high season. Walk-ins were welcome. The menu has many options to choose from. We used Google Translate to decipher the menu. Like many bistros, they had a set menu of entree and plat (appetizer and main dish) or plat and dessert (main dish and dessert). My daughter and I recommend the Duck L'orange. My son enjoyed his burger with camembert sauce and my husband's steak was nicely prepared, though it was more medium than medium -rare. Service was warm and attentive and the meals were well-priced. We had a train to catch and they were considerate in ensuring we could enjoy our meal with time to make our way over to the train station. After exploring the sights, dining here was a wonderful way to end our visit to Rouen!

26/05/2026: A charming restaurant in the heart of a small wine-growing town. The welcome is warm and friendly, in a simple and authentic atmosphere. The dishes, inspired by French cuisine, are delicious and sometimes given an original twist. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from beginning to end! The prices are very reasonable, with three set menus offered as well as a good selection à la carte.
