15/11/2025: A truly top-notch restaurant! The value for money is excellent considering the quality of the food; everything is delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktail of the day was fantastic, and a special mention goes to the bartender's homemade infused rums—a real treat. The servers are lovely and very attentive. There's hardly any wait, which is a huge plus, and even if there had been, it wouldn't have bothered me at all given the quality of the food. The atmosphere is also absolutely charming. Honestly, everything was perfect!

18/09/2024: Voilà un restaurant comme on aime. Un estaminet dans son « jus » . Des plats cuisinés maison. Un bon accueil et service. J’adore ce genre d’endroit quand je viens dans les flandres. Profitez en c’est rare de trouver encore ce genre d’endroit. Bien sûr les plats sont très bons. Je recommande.

14/09/2024: Quand on entre, on se retrouve propulsé dans le passé… on peut passer des heures à admirer les décorations ! Nous avons très bien mangé (que dire du « doigt du douanier », 18cm de pur bonheur!), et les patrons sont très sympathiques et accueillants…. Bref, un excellent moment un dimanche midi, nous y retournerons avec les enfants !

09/11/2025: The 100-day-old chicken was a real treat, and the potatoes were too. We really enjoyed it. The salad just needed a little more dressing.

05/07/2025: Review for the restaurant only, we weren’t staying here. We had a delicious lunch, the best we’ve had 2 weeks into our 4 week vacation in France so far, which is saying a lot! We’ve had some great meals. My husband had a special a beef stew wrapped in a pastry. The young beef (veal?) was from a woman run farm just 2 kilometers away. I had a hamburger with a sauce, a great bun, tomato and bacon. We both had the local specialty potato cheese dish and a side salad. Every bite was perfection. We each had a local beer, which was cool and crisp. The waitress/co owner was a delight, explaining in English the dishes and where locally the ingredients were from. The other staff were efficient and kind. For desert we had the melon which was grown very locally and the best cantaloupe we’ve ever had, even better than the ones our childhood families grew (sorry Grandpa). The view from the terrace is beautiful. I highly recommend this spot.

21/10/2025: Visited for lunch during the week of October 12-18, 2025. Delicious fresh food, friendly people who put up with my poor attempts at French, and nice atmosphere. We recommend and will be back if we have the chance.

08/07/2025: Very disappointing. Mediocre service with a rude waitress who barely spoke to us. The food was pretty good, but the value for money was poor. The only positive aspect was the consideration given to someone with dietary restrictions.

19/06/2025: A small restaurant in a tiny courtyard guarded by an old fig tree. A pleasant, unpretentious atmosphere. You don't notice the hustle and bustle of the street. At lunch, there were only two dishes to choose from per course (starter, main course, dessert). The dishes are original and creative, and good to very good, but not (yet?) Michelin-star worthy. However, you'll definitely be full. Three menus and two glasses of wine cost around 100 euros. The restaurant isn't particularly suitable for small children, but it's highly recommended for a refined break from sightseeing. The starter of baked eggplant and olive oil mayonnaise was very delicately seasoned, while the main course of rice was a bit dry. The service was a bit cool, but the owner was very friendly. I would go again.

28/09/2025: Beautiful decor and impeccable service but don't order the beef bourguignon because the meat is too fatty, there is no sauce and there are too few potatoes (another person had a very good hamburger and there were nice plates of other dishes on the other tables).

30/09/2024: We came there today without a reservation, they didn’t let us in, they said that everything was occupied, although many tables were free.
