08/07/2026: Excellent find! The dishes are fresh, refined, and above all, delicious. The decor is pleasant, bistro-style, and the atmosphere is quite cozy. Our only regret was the lack of interaction during service, such as: "Have you finished? Did you enjoy your meal? Would you like anything else?" The bill was simply handed to us without us even asking, even though we weren't in a hurry. But we still highly recommend this excellent establishment!

20/06/2026: My husband and I discovered this place last night, and frankly, it was an extraordinary experience. The setting was perfect, the service impeccable, and the food exquisite. I've never had such a delicious beef bourguignon. I highly recommend this place.

15/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant yesterday. The setting is pleasant, warm, and relaxing, and the welcome was quite friendly. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to compensate for a very disappointing overall experience. The service was particularly slow: over 2 hours and 15 minutes for three people, even though the restaurant was far from full. This wait was difficult to understand and significantly impacted our meal. As for the food, we were disappointed. The rib-eye steak was very fatty, under-seasoned, and lacked any real flavor. The fries tasted like they had been reheated, which is very disappointing for a dish at this price point. My carne alentejana dish had a good taste, but the quantity and quality of the ingredients were unacceptable: many large pieces of fat, very little meat to eat, just a few clams, and a truly minimal portion of fried potatoes. For a dish costing €32–35, the value for money is clearly very poor. It's a shame, because the place has potential and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the wait, the portion sizes, and the quality of the food are disappointing. Despite its attractive setting, it's not a restaurant we would recommend.

27/05/2026: A truly wonderful place! The galettes are delicious, generous, and made fresh to order. We were a group of 11, and despite the sweltering heat on that Pentecost Saturday evening, the waitress remained very professional and incredibly kind. We even had the chance to meet the crêpe maker as we were leaving—she's clearly passionate about her craft and her region. A very enjoyable experience.

12/07/2026: Undoubtedly the best restaurant in the region. This is my second time dining at the Auberge Saint-Michel. The setting is refined and tastefully decorated, and the welcome is professional yet warm and discreet. The quality of the dishes is exceptional, worthy of the finest gastronomic restaurants. The dishes are carefully prepared with subtle flavors. Made with seasonal produce, the menu changes regularly, much to the delight of the palate. Special mention goes to the smoked haddock muffin, which remains one of the best appetizers I have ever had. A truly excellent experience that I look forward to repeating. The Auberge Saint-Michel is definitely a place to discover and share.

12/08/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in the summer of 2026 with my friend Marie and her mother, residents of La Roche-Bernard, and it was a wonderful discovery. The mussels in satay sauce were succulent, and the profiteroles with salted caramel were simply divine! 15/07/2026: Our family arrived from different parts of the world to a family gathering in Lyon. My husband brought me and our three daughters here, a place that means a lot to him since he used to bring his late mother here years ago while visiting Europe. He was excited to share it with the girls, and the reviews online had us expecting a great meal. Sadly, the food didn’t live up to it this time. My husband and I both ordered the steak, and it was tough. My daughters had the chicken, which came out dry. It was disappointing given the reputation and the sentimental reason for our visit. The one bright spot was the service, which was attentive and warm throughout. I hope this was an off night rather than a sign of things slipping. The restaurant was not busy that evening.

04/08/2026: We sat down for a quick drink at this beautiful place tucked away in the small village of Pigna. The staff were very friendly and the wines were excellent. The view was exceptional, especially at sunset. It gets very busy; booking in advance is recommended during high season.
