The service was both very pleasant and professional. We learned about local traditions throughout our meal.
A lovely chat with the chef to end the evening.
Everything you could expect from a traditional and comforting restaurant in Chambolle-Musigny.

04/09/2024: Sommes des voyageurs qui fonctionnons beaucoup avec TRIPADVISOR pour le choix de nos restaurants.
Et la, nous sommes étonnés de voir que vous êtes 2ème derrière le OUATSOU.
Pour avoir fait les deux ce weekend là, le Bessoi est largement mieux que OUATSOU.
Plats variés, rapport qualité prix plus que correct. Entrée plat dessert pour à peine 21€. Plat du jour à tomber saucisse aligot, saucisse de très très bonne qualité, on s'est régalés.
On recommande et on reviendra

16/11/2025: We were looking for a wine bar where we could enjoy a nice aperitif before dinner. We stumbled upon this place and were pleasantly surprised by their extensive wine list, which also had great prices. We drank four bottles and were more than satisfied with the excellent and friendly service (some places in Epernay should send their staff here to learn a thing or two). The bill matched the prices on the wine list, and when we left we were happier than when we arrived.
Highly recommended!

The hours...honestly, I don't understand why they will open the kitchen for an hour and a half at noon and an hour and a half in the evening during the week. Without reservation it is not worth coming.

Superior rooms and suites, varied, local and generous cuisine.
Three downsides however, the stifling heat, particularly in the rooms, forced to open the window in the evening to hope to sleep, the menus are of great quality, but sometimes with questionable sequences and too little diversity and the little empathy encountered ( to remain courteous) when asking reception on the trails passable in winter from the hotel.

€20 for 2 hours of spa.

Small note, gourmet tea is not served at the end of dessert but at the same time.
The dish lacked a little heat, which is a shame because the larded monkfish was well prepared.
15/09/2024: Overrated reputation, cuisine and service have greatly improved such as the arrival of the first course before the end of the aperitif or the presentation of a lukewarm Veal Head!!!!! Good luck !

02/11/2024: Le lieu est emprunt de la bonne ambiance des vieux troquets. La cuisine est simple mais excellente. Le personnel adorable et chaleureux. En tant que nouveaux arrivants à Montélimar, nous avons trouvé le bar restaurant le plus agréable, le plus accueillant et le plus sympa de la ville! On y revient sans modération.

04/09/2024: We visited this restaurant based on extensive positive reviews. However, we were very underwhelmed with the quality of the dishes we chose which, together with the overall price of our meal (for two) including a glass each of the house rouge and blanc, did not represent good value for money or provide a memorable dining experience. A shared starter dish of pork and pistachio sausage with potatoes was pleasant enough, but her main of pike fish soufflé was stoggy and far removed from the concept of a French soufflé. His dish of duck breast in pepper sauce was acceptable, but lacking in imagination. We chose not to indulge in desert due to the limited and uninspiring options.
A dining experience for two costing €86 for one entree, two very basic mains and two glasses of house wine does not represent good value, even in Paris.
02/09/2024: Dies ist ein wunderbares typisch französisches kleines Bistro. Man sitzt dicht an dicht, kann mit den Tischnachbarn plaudern, einen Aperitif zu sich nehmen während man auf die köstlichen Speisen wartet. Jedes Gericht war absolut fantastisch, genau wie der Chablis, den wir dazu tranken. Es war nicht nur ein Abendessen sondern ein Erlebnis mit gut gelaunten Gästen, gut gelauntem Personal und Patron.

06/12/2024: J'ai été heureux d'être vivant hier soir. Tout simplement parfait. L''équipe est d'une extrême gentillesse à l'écoute de nos diverses contraintes.
Nous avions réservé en amont et heureusement car la salle est pleine de convives, l'arrivée des plats nous expliquera pourquoi. Première exigence de notre part, venir à partir de 22h, théâtre des 3T voisin oblige. Au moment de la réservation la contrainte n'en n'était plus une car ils ont l'habitude. Afin de faciliter la vie de l'équipe en place, les choix avaient été donnés quelques jours avant, avec le respect de notre budget.
Bref au moment de passer à table, nous avions l'impression d'etre chez nous. Nous etions nous aussi bien vivants et surtout en éveil pour bien profiter des assiettes qui allaient arrivées.
Les cuissons sont maîtrisées, les textures bien vivantes, l'odace tout autant et les quantités généreuses. Mention spéciale pour tartare de coques, que je mangerai à la cuillère devant un bon film.
J'ai trouvé mon spot, grâce à cette jeune équipe de vivants. Bravo et merci, à très bientôt.
