19/07/2026: We came to celebrate our civil partnership at this restaurant after hearing many positive reviews, and unfortunately, the evening was disappointing. The vegetarian menu my mother ordered, which was specified at the time of booking for €50, started with a simple pasta dish, then turned out to be just ravioli, which was far from commensurate with the price. As for me, the only dish I was interested in (the octopus) was no longer available. I was offered a starter instead of a main course, but it arrived incomplete (melon without ham) due to an ordering error. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our main courses on a Thursday evening, with several service errors. My father had to ask for his beer three times before receiving it, a continuous beeping from a refrigerator was very unpleasant throughout the meal, and the drink selection seemed quite limited. We did appreciate the gesture of goodwill (complimentary drinks), but it didn't make up for the lack of organization and numerous mistakes. For a €50 menu, we expected a much better experience. We arrived at 7 pm and left at 10 pm, very disappointed.

22/05/2026: Staying at a hotel, I stumbled upon this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! The waiter greeted us with a smile and a cheerful demeanor. The food was refined, and the wine selection by the glass was diverse, including, of course, a local Savagnin. The dishes are homemade and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the modern twist on spring rolls. I highly recommend this restaurant.

25/07/2026: A very good restaurant in Saint-Germain. The menu isn't too long, and it focuses on quality ingredients. Corsican inspiration is evident throughout, with daily specials based on market availability, and an impressive list of Corsican wines. We love eating on the terrace in the evenings during the summer. Our dog is also welcome in this pleasant restaurant. Reservations are recommended.

17/07/2026: Very yummy food with huge portions! We tried the fried courgettes and swordfish tataki - the both went beyond our expectations! For main dish we had the pork, orzo and the tartare. The tartare wasn't like the traditinal kind but it was so fresh and so good with very yummy fries The pork was so succulent and the jusbwas extremely flavourful and paired well with the mashed potato The orzo was at first underwhelming but once the goat cheese was well mixed in, it was quite pleasant! We were unable to order dessert after the very filling meal!! I'm definitely coming back We tried the Capo Spritz and it was a real delight - I highly recommend

10/04/2026: We had dinner last night at Le Coq en Poulpe restaurant and it was an excellent experience! We chose the €36 Le Coq menu and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The snails were delicious, perfectly prepared, and the beef chuck with its shallot sauce was simply incredible: melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor. Special mention also goes to the warm Saint-Marcellin cheese, which was absolutely perfect. A very pleasant evening in a friendly atmosphere, with generous and expertly prepared dishes. We highly recommend it!

19/04/2026: A charming welcome from the farm animals greeted us upon our arrival. The owners gave us a superb welcome in a setting that truly embodies the spirit of an authentic Alsatian inn. Furthermore, the dishes served were exceptional in their freshness and quality.

16/03/2026: First visit to La Table à Victor since the change of chef. The welcome from the restaurant's iconic waiter was as warm as ever. The menu has changed very little, with the meat dishes remaining exceptional. The wine pairing recommendations were always excellent. If we hadn't known the chef had changed, we wouldn't have noticed the difference. Excellent value for money, making this restaurant one of the best in the area!

07/03/2026: An exceptional establishment that tells a story. The refined and delicate dishes are served by a super friendly duo who don't hesitate to raise their voices to sing "Happy Birthday," which is then joined by the whole room. 08/08/2026: Once again, a very enjoyable time spent at this establishment. (First visit 2023) The service is impeccable, both from the young, newly qualified waitress and her more experienced colleague. The food is delicious, with a fried carp that was simply excellent—for me, the best. Delicate batter, light frying, perfect cooking. The dessert was divine, and the house aperitif was truly excellent. Two small personal observations, offered with the best of intentions: In the regional menu, the terrine is good, but the crudités are a little below your usual standard. The house dessert is slightly overrated. Otherwise, as I said: impeccable. It's a 1 hour 15 minute drive, but I will gladly return. 👍👍

30/07/2026: A very bad experience at The Living Room. I've been there several times, but this is the first time I've been disappointed. We ordered two pork ribs, and when they arrived, they were burnt. We were told several times that it was due to the cooking, when it was surely an oversight in the kitchen. We insisted they send them back. In the end, they brought us replacements cooked properly, but there was no apology from the staff, no gesture of goodwill... a real shame, I won't be going back.

25/07/2026: It was sooooo good that I didn't even have time to take a picture of my salmon guacamole, it was to die for!!! The place has a lot of charm and the waiters and waitresses are smiling ☺️
