02/06/2026: A quirky atmosphere, a character who owns and serves customers and clearly enjoys his work, and, surprisingly for this kind of place, really delicious food. Okay, the chicken on tortellini turned out to be on macaroni. The macaroni was pink, though. That kind of makes up for it. An ideal spot to take your mother-in-law out for dinner. We had a great time, and most importantly, it was really, really delicious. Unfortunately, we live 500km away.

30/05/2026: Nice, tasty dishes. Such as mini hot dog with foie gras and smoked duck breast and mini clafoutis with asparagus. Note that the main courses are for big eaters. Nice atmosphere, where the terrace grew bigger and bigger thanks to the willing customers. Good Burgundy wine by the bottle. Worth discovering!!

27/03/2026: Excellent! Although we're from Tarbes, we hadn't been back to this restaurant for at least 20 years… Very indulgent—it lives up to its name—and very pleasant! Rich and hearty dishes made with very fresh, local ingredients. A good selection of local wines, especially if you like Madiran. Delicious desserts without being too sweet. In short: go!

04/06/2026: Excellent stay at this hotel! The reception staff were welcoming and professional. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The food was delicious, with attentive and efficient service. Special mention goes to the breakfast, which was varied, plentiful, and made with high-quality products. I highly recommend this establishment and would gladly return.

14/06/2026: Avoid this place for watching football!! Three screens – great, German beer, currywurst… but no sound during the match. Result: no atmosphere whatsoever. The most incomprehensible thing is that the staff say they've known about the problem for a week. When you present yourself as a place to watch German matches, the audio quality isn't a minor detail!!

15/05/2026: A very nice experience, a superb atmosphere, and the table we were given was well-chosen for a group of seven. We had drinks quickly, less than a 5-minute wait. The beer on tap was good, a Castelain 8.5%, I recommend it! We didn't try the starters, but they looked mouthwatering. The main courses were very generous; I had the pink veal liver with homemade mashed potatoes. Everything is homemade, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices, at least eight, including meat, fish, and ABBA (Mamamia Raoum 🎶 🤭). The Irish coffee was good; bring a spoon if you like to eat the whipped cream separately, but it was excellent. The service was friendly and very fast (let them know if you're there to relax and take your time). I recommend it; a great place in Calais Centre compared to the other options nearby. 30/03/2026: A pleasant experience at this family-run restaurant. The dishes offered were varied, tasty, and generously portioned. However, the one major drawback was that the waitstaff brought my bottle of red wine already opened and simply placed it on the table as if it were a carafe. Having worked in the industry my entire life, I would like to remind the staff that opening and serving wine ordered by the customer is standard practice in all establishments. Aside from this incident, the experience was very satisfactory.

07/03/2026: A very wide selection of fresh, seasonal products. More ice cream flavors than before. The staff is helpful and friendly.

11/12/2025: My friend and I stopped by today around 2 pm to enjoy a pastry. The food was perfect, but the service was sorely lacking in politeness... Being called a thief out loud in front of a full restaurant, with the pretext that we hadn't paid, and having this claim, which turned out to be false, persisted is UNACCEPTABLE!! After you took the time to check (in short, to do your job), you didn't even have the courtesy to apologize.
