20/02/2026: Excellent time going to La Vie d’Ange! We ordered the wine pairing, starting with white wine with the onion tart and escargot. Our server explained how to eat the escargot as it was our first time. It was unique and delicious! We then drank red wine with our main meal, the lamb shank. It was very tasty, the meat was so tender and easy to share. This dinner completed our final night in Paris and was a simple yet lovely meal shared with my wife and I.

17/02/2026: You just found the perfect restaurant in Paris. Like you, I was searching for authentic places to eat, what I found was so much more. I returned every evening of my trip. The lamb shank was literally a Top 5 meal of my life and the family that operates this place is even better. I will come back to Paris just to visit.

The value for money is unbeatable. I highly recommend this restaurant, which rivals even the finest Michelin-starred establishments.

The downstairs dining room is lovely. In short, a perfect experience for me and my friends. Please don't change a thing! We will gladly return.

04/03/2026: My experience at Léon was surprisingly negative. It's nothing like it used to be. The waitress was ethereal, stuck in her assigned room, just wandering around. The self-styled, sour manager was hogging the kitchen and running everywhere, not even able to greet the staff at reception. You ask him to take your order and... you wait. The only one who really stood out was the bartender—smiling, pleasant, and attentive. He'd be wise to jump ship before it goes under and find a place that's up to his standards. That's the staff for you. As for the mussels marinière and the Léon mussels, well, the mussel broth was tasteless... they must not have bought the house recipe. I never thought I'd say this place would become one to avoid!

20/02/2026: Excellent! For former Amarine fans, this is a worthy successor. A warm welcome, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service. We enjoyed our meals. The fries were very good (I mention this because it's not always the case).

I stay for a coffee... and here I am with mulled wine 🙄 Add to that the staff's smiles and the great atmosphere that creates a wonderful vibe. Other customers are chatting with me... it's clear, we all feel good here. At La Dominante. I've made some new friends. I absolutely have to come back now. To see my friends. Of course.

22/02/2026: The food was excellent and beautifully presented; the plates were artfully arranged and colorful, a feast for the eyes. The manager is very friendly. Everything is locally sourced. One small drawback: we didn't know how much we would pay until we got to the register because there was no menu. My husband was disappointed that there were no meat options (but I think this restaurant is actually vegetarian-only).
