23/07/2026: I went there today, July 23rd, at lunchtime with three other people. The service on the terrace was mediocre: forgotten dishes, sauces not as ordered, and the bill arrived even before we had ordered coffee. And the worst was yet to come: they had the nerve to ask us if we wanted a tip, and when we refused, they asked why! Unbelievable… The food was average. Frozen fries and the dessert (floating islands) still had the plastic wrap under the plate. Luckily, I was with good company!

13/09/2026: A restaurant that does the job! Friendly and attentive servers. Meat and fish served perfectly cooked (as requested for meat, or not for fish). A bit noisy, only three people were allowed. But hey, can you blame a restaurant that's a victim of its own success? I don't 😉

12/07/2026: After desperately searching for a place to have breakfast without getting scorched by the Marseille sun (we love you, but this is getting ridiculous!), we settled on the pleasant terrace of the Black Bird where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a truly charming setting. The coffee was also excellent. A special thank you to Roland for his radiant smile.

07/03/2026: An entrance opens onto the street, leading under a beautifully decorated wooden roof adorned with string lights. The zucchini carpaccio with octopus is a delight! A superb atmosphere with soft background music.

30/08/2026: We booked a restaurant for about 60 people for our son's christening. They have a room suitable for large groups. The outdoor aperitif was very pleasant. The manager and waitresses were very attentive. The food was simple and delicious. The boat trip on the marsh was a real bonus. Excellent value for money. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed this lovely day.

15/09/2026: A wonderful small restaurant on a quiet street in Vieux Lyon, just off the main area. Wonderful Lebanese food. The beauty of Lyon is the authenticity of Lyonnaise food and the acceptance of good international cuisine. Had falafel and chicken shawarma and baklava it was excellent. Find your way here for an enjoyable meal

06/09/2026: Excellent surprise. We wanted to eat something different and visited this restaurant; it was a great choice. The food is delicious and good value for money; excellent Lebanese cuisine.

12/09/2026: We did the five-course tasting menu with the wine pairing, and the entire experience was fantastic. Every course was beautifully executed, and the wine pairings really added something to each dish rather than simply accompanying them. The salmon with calamari was a particular standout — creative, perfectly prepared, and absolutely delicious. The dessert was also exceptional and a perfect way to finish the meal. From beginning to end, it felt thoughtful, interesting, and incredibly well put together. One of the best meals we’ve had in Paris and an experience we’d absolutely recommend.

07/04/2026: We spent 3 nights in this lovely Auberge. Fantastic location for access to Alp D' Huez plus great ski touring up to the many Cols and hills in the area. Staff were lovely and really friendly. Food was great and suited our taste for simple but nourishing fare. They also catered well for Gluten- Free when I asked about it. We loved our stay here and will certainly remember it for future visits to the area.

30/03/2026: We had booked a group meal. The communication regarding the organization beforehand was very responsive and took everyone's individual needs into account. The menu selection, including drinks, allowed everyone to find a meal that suited them at a very reasonable price. We had a wonderful time: the welcome, the service, and the option to stay part of the afternoon for those who didn't want to wander around... I highly recommend it!
