03/01/2026: We celebrated my wife's birthday with a lunch for 12 people. The service was impeccable, the food excellent, and the portions generous. The wine was excellent. A very enjoyable family outing.

13/12/2025: Customer service-wise, a little dig at the waiter who confused a triple beer with a triple beer 🍻, 🤣... But he quickly redeemed himself... Friendly, attentive staff. On the plate, nothing but positive things to say. Tender meat and a chef who knows his stuff... Pearly white fish... superb.

Located not far from Besançon, but in a pleasant, rustic setting, the building blends modern and classic styles with a cozy feel, thanks to the generous spacing between tables, enhancing the relaxing atmosphere. On the plate, delightful flavors that effortlessly transport you. As for the price, there's nothing to complain about; the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. The service is professional, though perhaps a touch more cheerfulness would be welcome. In short, a great place to remember; we'll be back.

07/11/2024: Despite a relatively reasonable price, it must be said, the dishes are surprisingly bland. The plates are particularly chipped, and the glasses are covered in limescale. So, avoid it. Personally, I haven't seen a restaurant like this in ages.

16/10/2024: Venus encourager notre équipe de rugby de Capbreton Hossegor en déplacement à St Palais, j'ai réservé la veille pour les 5 que nous étions. Arrivés à midi nous avons été accueillis par une dame fort souriante, aimable et dynamique......malgré que nous étions un dimanche ...ensoleillé de surcroit. Elle nous a placé en terrasse, sous l'immense platane. Apéritif consommé, elle nous a suggéré des plats que nous nous sommes empressés de déguster. Les desserts étaient au diapason de l'assiette landaise et des plats. Café avalé, nous avons pris la direction du stade après avoir salué et remercié le sympathique patron (et cuisinier). Unanimement, nous avons très bien déjeuné et nous vous recommandons cette adresse.

16/02/2026: It doesn't look like much, a small restaurant open at lunchtime for locals or those who work there, but the food is amazing! Two daily specials to choose from, traditional recipes, all homemade by Laurent in the kitchen, even the sauerkraut or the crème brûlée (to die for)!

23/01/2026: The place is very beautiful, a lovely building with spacious rooms. The food was very good with truly varied flavors. My only complaint was the dish with the salted lamb; I was disappointed by its crude presentation and excessive mushrooms. Finally, the reorganization of the adjoining room was quite noisy and not very suitable for a quiet meal.

18/02/2026: I return every year to this magical castle for the pleasure of admiring its beautiful gardens, its sumptuous architecture that has evolved so beautifully over the centuries, and its stones reflected in the water. I had the pleasure of spending a few days there on my honeymoon 15 years ago. My husband worked as a guide there during his university holidays when he was younger. We will always return.

06/11/2025: A good visit and a very beautiful castle. The guided tour was very interesting, but we missed visiting some more rooms, to complete the visit. A clarification: On the internet the price of the visit is €6. I think they should change it, so as not to confuse the visitor. They charged us €10 per person. I personally think that these visits could be more complete. I see it as essential that the owners raise money to maintain and improve a heritage that without our contribution would be difficult to do. Thank you for the welcome and the explanations
