27/02/2026: We casually came across this restaurant for lunch, there were 9 of us & staff were so lovey and allowed us to come in. We had some lovely lunch & gorgeous Prosecco. I had a lovely chicken salad. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

21/02/2026: A very good inn. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is excellent. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. It's an address I'll definitely keep in mind for a future stopover, should the opportunity arise. The place seems very popular, as it was quite busy at lunchtime. It's true that you can also eat there for €16 at lunchtime.

15/03/2026: A very nice restaurant, but today the service was far too slow, 2.5 hours. The skate with butter and capers dish had no capers and very little butter, making it very dry. Disappointed 😞. Geneviève, who has been several times, was very disappointed today.

22/02/2026: A very good lunch experience. The value for money is excellent for lunch, allowing you to fully enjoy the view (you can request it when booking, subject to availability). We opted for the tasting menu. The dishes were well-prepared and the flavors were vibrant. A slight disappointment was the wine pairing, which included three glasses of wine for €50. We received a glass of cider (very good, by the way). I imagine it's considered an apple wine, but I wasn't expecting it. Depending on your needs, you may sometimes need to speak to the restaurant manager.

25/11/2025: The chef was extremely unpleasant to children, even when they were well-behaved. This was the first and last time I will ever return to this restaurant. I had a good impression of the restaurant before, but this gentleman's attitude has completely disgusted me now when I walk past it. I will absolutely not recommend your restaurant, which employs someone who is mean to children and has no understanding of customer service or courtesy.

28/10/2025: We were delighted by the quality of the dishes and dessert, but especially by the chef's warm welcome! He was incredibly friendly and welcoming! His expertise was immediately evident in the dishes: a delicious chicken ballotine stuffed with mushroom duxelles and an apple clafoutis that was a true delight. A wonderful discovery… a restaurant we highly recommend! 🍽✨

Merci!🙏 This delightful & delicious cute little restaurant is hidden in a small street corner that had been recommended to us by a local. The vibe is cozy and the food is superb!!🍽️ Gastronomic fine dining but without the formalities. And the tiny open kitchen was so impressive. We absolutely loved everything. & there’s great vegetarian & fish options. We were also impressed with the massive book of wines and the selection of Chartreuses. We don’t normally order dessert but this dessert was really special🍰 Highly recommend checking this place out. Sante🥂

28/11/2025: From appetizer to dessert, there wasn't a single false note! 🎶 It's beautifully presented, deliciously cooked, and the service is impeccable and warm. The salted faisselle cheese with olive oil, fresh garlic, chopped chives, and basil is incredible. Homemade cuisine, fresh, seasonal products—we loved it! 🤩

20/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. At lunchtime, the set menu with wine is €20. Starter, main course, and dessert. Very good quality. The staff is very, very pleasant. I will definitely go back. And I will tell everyone I know because it's really, really, really good. A great find!

24/01/2026: Extremely limited opening hours! We made a reservation for four people on a Friday evening at 8:30 pm (a perfectly reasonable time, in my opinion). The restaurant's response: "Better 8 pm because the kitchen closes after that."... As a result, we went to eat elsewhere. It's a real shame because we truly appreciate this restaurant, which offers quality dishes (which is why I gave it 4/5 stars). Should we make an effort with our opening hours or find another line of work?... 🤷🏼‍♂️

22/02/2026: If I could have given 10 stars, I would have gladly done so. What a delightful discovery this restaurant is! Le Sabot Rouge offers refined and flavorful regional cuisine (the foie gras is exceptional). The menu is just the right size, making the choice easy. A triumph! As for the service, it was simply perfect. Attentive yet discreet, we were delighted by the professionalism. Our only regret: not having a big enough stomach to try everything on the menu in one sitting. Therefore, we will have to come back. Thank you and see you soon.

15/02/2026: My partner and I went for dinner for Valentine's Day, and the meal was excellent from start to finish. The waiter was very pleasant. The decor was lovely for the occasion. The only slight drawback was that it was a little cold in the dining room.
