03/07/2026: As usual, we received a very warm welcome and found a lovely spot in the beautiful garden, where the mistral wind didn't bother us. The daily menu showcased the chefs' imagination: zucchini velouté and eggplant mille-feuille, followed by bonito in coconut milk with a delicious piquillo pepper, and, for me, a perfectly pan-seared hanger steak. The cheese selection also focused on quality and uniqueness: regional goat cheese and artisanal Demeter blue cheese from Alcas. Add a touch of Espelette pepper jam, and you're in cheese heaven. If we lived nearby, this restaurant would be a must-visit. Bravo! Someone here has truly mastered their craft, both in the kitchen and in customer service. My heart goes out to you! Even in 2026, we highly recommend the cuisine and hospitality of these charming people. We can't wait to see them again.

22/06/2026: We loved it! A large dining room inside and a spacious, shaded terrace—perfect with our dog during this heatwave—all just 25 meters from the Rhine-Rhône Canal; the setting is magnificent. The welcome and service were perfect from beginning to end. The waitresses were incredibly attentive, kind, and always smiling. The establishment was impeccably clean. All the dishes were homemade. We tried the famous local dish: fried carp, which was truly excellent and served all-you-can-eat. We had a wonderful meal and a fantastic time. It's a shame our vacation ended because we would have gone back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place! 👍

15/08/2026: We arrived last night after booking by phone. We hadn't realized the restaurant was completely non-smoking, including the outdoor terrace... It was only when we asked for an ashtray that we were informed, with the suggestion that we smoke practically in the parking lot. This isn't why we're giving this bad review, but because of the furious look the waitress gave us when we told her we wouldn't be staying. There were barely three tables occupied, and we weren't even offered a separate table. We were shocked by this knee-jerk reaction, which we didn't deserve! If this had been explained to us beforehand on the phone, we wouldn't have booked. It's a shame because the terrace is truly beautiful, with plants and plenty of shade. Too bad we missed our appointment 🤷🏼

23/07/2026: The truck stop staff were quite friendly, with large parking areas for a quiet stay. The restrooms aren't new, but they're in good condition, and the showers are spacious. The meal was satisfactory: an all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet, a well-cooked and generous main course, and a homemade dessert. A very good experience for me; I'll gladly return. Thanks to the team, keep up the good work! 👌

Special mention goes to the terrace, which is absolutely amazing with a great atmosphere. A fantastic neighborhood bar where you feel right at home; I highly recommend it!

17/06/2026: I've been coming to Le Verre Taquin almost every weekend for several years and I've always loved this bar and its staff. The recent change in management is a disaster: a gloomy and frustrating atmosphere. When I called to book a birthday party, I was subjected to a long speech about groups and respecting the staff. I completely understand this concern, but after hearing the same story repeated four times, explaining that we are a very respectful group, that we frequent the establishment regularly, and that some staff members could attest to this, I was finally advised to book elsewhere. An incomprehensible and particularly unpleasant customer experience for regulars. What a shame.

25/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at the crêperie! A warm welcome, delicious and generously filled sweet and savory crêpes. They even provided a small bowl of water for our dog. After a hike, we were delighted!

18/07/2026: We had a very good dinner last night. The service was very friendly, the children's menu was generous, as were the burgers we ordered. Both were very well presented and delicious, and the crepes for dessert were excellent. The staff is very kind.
