"comme un cheveu sur la soupe"
Caen
16/08/2026: A superb experience. Exceptional quality products, just two dishes, one of which is vegetarian, which is great, made with organic, local, seasonal ingredients. And everything is delicious and well-balanced. The flavors are very varied, a new taste discovery with every bite. Thank you to the team for creating places like this: simple, yet striving for quality. Thank you.
04/08/2026: A wonderful discovery!

Centre Ville
Roquette, Paris
12/09/2026: Kicked out of the place after some "suspicion" of I don't know what (just tell the truth, no problem, but don't lie, or at least don't mention "suspicion"?). It was a Sunday evening, there weren't many people there, but clearly they don't need to keep the place busy. I definitely don't recommend it and I'll go somewhere else next time.
12/09/2026: A street art exhibition barge that's well worth a visit. The exhibitions are great and change regularly. There's also a bookshop, posters, and a bar/restaurant.

Le Bistrok
Montpellier
14/09/2026: Excellent restaurant showcasing imaginative creative food using fresh local ingredients. Great service delivered by the engaging and knowledgeable patron. Advice for which best value wine we would enjoy was spot on.
12/09/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent, inventive, and refined cuisine. Portions were perfectly sized for average appetites, but ample enough for senior diners! The service was friendly and attentive: no downtime, but not too rushed either.

However, the toilets in the center are really awful 🤢
28/09/2026: We cycled for five weeks in France and this was one of our favorite meals. Definitely try the quenelles!

Yummy Pancakes
Lyon-1Er, Lyon
11/10/2026: Great brunch spot
But a 1-hour wait for a table
Small dining room
10/10/2026: Pancakes were cold like they were premade beforehand which made it abit unpleasant to eat. Also took a really long time to be served despite the staff being free. The staff were friendly enough though.

Au Coq Blanc
La Petite-Pierre
10/09/2026: The setting is very pleasant, however, there are few vegetarian options. The only one offered is a warm goat cheese salad (consisting of three slices of goat cheese on toast for €14.50), which is quite good but overpriced considering its ingredients. No alternative was offered to me... A shame.
06/09/2026: The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, but you need to book in advance.

L'eau a la bouche
Hyeres
13/09/2026: Excellent fish soup and continuation of the lunchtime menu (fish duo + tiramisu), quick service and good attention
12/09/2026: Excellent restaurant! We had dinner last night on Place Massillon in the heart of old Hyères.
Trust the menu on the chalkboard: generous portions, refined, and excellent value for money. The staff is pleasant and attentive; even the owner comes to greet the customers! Highly recommended! And best of luck to this fantastic restaurant!
