09/08/2026: We discovered La Taverne Paillette, and we weren't disappointed. The dishes were generous, very tasty, and fresh. The setting is beautiful. We highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: A must-visit in Le Havre! We went as a couple last Saturday night, and it's always a great experience! Paillette beer is very good, and the servers are very efficient.

08/08/2026: We made a reservation via phone prior and upon arrival the table was not ready. On top of that we asked for outside seats as there was only two Person table available. We were 3 people and the staff was quite inconsiderate and unwilling to give the spot. Inside area is quite warm. Once they saw us exploring other restaurants in the area they were willing to give up the spot. Honestly, if u are thick skinned and willing to wait feel free to try it out but the vibes were offfffff.

05/08/2026: Despite being very centrally located, I think it was unnecessarily expensive and the food wasn't that tasty; I only ate a tiny bit of denim and the toilets were very dirty. I definitely don't recommend it.

16/07/2026: My entrecote was cremated, my friend's was raw. The fries were soggy and the bearnaise sauce was too sharp. But it was expensive.

23/07/2026: Great location, lovely atmosphere. The service was a bit cold; in fact, all the staff seemed to dislike their jobs intensely. Perhaps understandable, given the large number of tourists and the sheer volume of customers. The poor, lukewarm coffee was inexcusable. The overall value for money of the food and drinks was not good. They sell nice stationery items in the shop, but also a lot of overpriced junk. We visit every year and know what to expect (sometimes), so we're no longer disappointed.

05/08/2026: Hello, I don't want to say that the ham, Emmental, and raspberry sandwiches and pastries come from Tram Gourmet, the pastry and sandwich maker in the Belle Etoile area. I've seen the truck several times, and the pastries all look the same, so they're not homemade. I'm speaking from experience.

22/03/2026: Dinner on a Saturday evening at 8 pm, I decided to try the beef tartare!! Big mistake!!! I don't think anyone in the kitchen has ever eaten it at any other establishment!! I think management should remove it from the menu or teach the kitchen staff what beef tartare actually is!! Goodbye capers, gherkins, onions, egg… a complete mush!!! As for the service, I think they have a problem with cutlery!! Always waiting for either a knife or a fork, and dessert without a spoon!! Mistakes with orders, missing dishes… etc.

25/07/2026: A must-visit, especially in the summer, as it's one of the few places where you can actually feel the air conditioning. The servers are cool and friendly. A wide selection of draft beers, perfect for staying hydrated. It just needs peanuts or other snacks offered like in some other bars nearby.
