08/12/2025: The setting was lovely, but the salmon galette was disappointing… folded in four with nothing inside, burnt on both sides. The charcuterie board cost €14 and the products were bland… I was served lemonade when I ordered iced tea…

16/12/2025: We were a couple at Au Pont M, having made a reservation beforehand. We were greeted and shown to a table directly overlooking the Lauter River. We were initially disappointed that the menu on the website didn't match the actual dinner menu. The room temperature was more suited to polar bears. 19°C is already borderline. The food we ordered was served promptly. However, the dishes were very bland. There were six tables occupied, and all the guests asked for salt. All the main courses were served with the same white sauce. My wife had cod, and I had lamb. I don't understand why the same sauce is appropriate for these different dishes. Since we didn't want dessert, the table was cleared completely at record speed. Apart from the tablecloth and a candle, nothing remained. This was a clear signal for us to vacate the table as quickly as possible. The ladies' restroom was very dirty and had to be cleaned by my wife before she could use it. In short, we won't be returning.

02/09/2024: Ogni anno andiamo a trovarli dall' Italia sia per il cibo (di altissimo livello,pesce ma anche carne di qualità eccellente) sia per la cortesia,la gentilezza del personale. Lo consigliamo,vi innamorerete di questo ristorante e anche della bella regione Charente. Every year we visit them from Italy for the food (of the highest level, fish but also meat of excellent quality) and for the courtesy, kindness of the staff. We recommend it, you will love this restaurant and also the beautiful region of Charente. Chaque année, nous allons les trouver en venant d’Italie à la fois pour la nourriture (de très haut niveau, le poisson mais aussi la viande d’excellente qualité) et pour la courtoisie, la gentillesse du personnel. Nous vous recommandons, vous allez adorer ce restaurant et aussi la belle région de Charente.

14/09/2024: What can I say? Delicious food, super atmosphere and very friendly waiters. And all for a very fair price. I am so glad I've discovered this restaurant in Avignon. Now I can come back and have dinner where I feel at home.

13/11/2025: A unique place that takes you back in time. The burger with andouille sausage and fries was excellent. One small drawback: the cooking smell lingered on your clothes when you left.

28/12/2025: We were just at Au Bureau to start the evening. A lovely brasserie with polite staff, it looked inviting – at first glance. We had considered having dinner there, but somehow the many small flies on the bar and the exceptionally clean wine glass bothered us. Take a look at the picture of the wine bottle cork and our wine glass – that's not what I call clean.

11/09/2025: A disgusting bakery. The prices are shamefully inflated for food worthy of the trash. I found a hair in my colkie, and the cheese had a disgusting, moldy taste. Hygiene-wise, it's catastrophic, and the worst part is the attitude: the baker didn't take responsibility for anything, no goodwill gesture, just a hypocritical smile. Selling such products is an insult to customers. Frankly, this place should be banned absolutely.

12/12/2025: The waiter was rude to me. He was sitting at a table with other customers. Talk about unprofessional! The first batch of fries arrived lukewarm, even cold. Luckily, we ordered a second time. The chef didn't even bother to prepare my partner's dessert; the waffle wasn't toasted or cooked, and the ice cream was melted! It's a disgrace, especially considering that for two people, ordering a starter, main course, dessert, and drinks, we paid €74! I will never set foot in that restaurant again!
