25/07/2026: I live in Paris, a friend wants to introduce me to this Italian restaurant, we got outside to take a look at the menu, I hear a guy exclaim in Sicilian dialect "Ou pigghia a chistu", obviously I'm Sicilian and I immediately understood what he meant, to be clear it means "hey look at this guy coming", I answer him in dialect, so at least he understands who he is talking to, when I approach, he in an embarrassing attempt to catch up asks me where I'm from, I reply that indeed, I'm Sicilian, so he continues in an unsolicited conversation telling me that he's from Palermo, I would have sent him to buy the Arancini but I was accompanied by a lady and the rest of the staff was welcoming me kindly, so I decide not to answer, as I don't really care where this Christian was from, we had a lovely evening and my 5 stars go to the owner, the gentleman who came to the table and the French lady, well done, I'll be back.

The pastries were absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with pure butter, just the way we like them. The puff pastry was perfectly crisp, golden brown, and wonderfully soft inside. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth; we'll definitely be back!

04/08/2026: The place is nice overall... there were four of us. All the dishes were good, as was the staff. I give it 3 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟. Regarding the mussels, I give them one star 🌟. Supposedly mussels marinière. Mussels cooked in water and their own juices. No herbs or onions. Moreover, they were overcooked and therefore dry. All this for 20 euros. On the coast, it's three times better for much less money...

09/08/2026: The food was amazing and served on beautiful plates. If you're from America, please make a reservation to have some truly good food. The food was fantastic! Remember to reserve a table, otherwise you might not be able to get a seat even if there is one available. I had a three-course lunch, and it was absolutely delicious! The fish sauce was particularly tasty, a tangy flavor perfect for summer. The three types of bread, including the baguette, were truly authentic European bread!

30/07/2026: The four of us went to Le Petit Carillon on the recommendation of Le Bonbon (Instagram). It's a fantastic place that I highly recommend. We ate like royalty, with excellent ingredients and dishes that were true works of art. The chef trained in the finest Parisian hotels and shares his expertise with the customers of his small, family-run restaurant. The servers are lovely and attentive. We ordered sea bream, grilled octopus, duck breast, salmon tartare, and Italian-style tartare... The cuisine is inventive and a real delight. Our only regret was that the generous portions didn't allow us to have dessert, but we'll be back! Thank you to the chef for his kindness and generosity.

26/07/2026: We wanted a bite to eat, so happy we decided to stop here. Lovely location by the canal and sat outside. Ordered off the lunch menu and we weren't disappointed. Good value for both the food and drinks. The food was delicious and I look forward to trying other dishes in the future.
