05/05/2026: This restaurant is not what it used to be! The service is terrible! The waitresses are mean, haughty, and disdainful! The wait is awful! I ordered fish soup that arrived cold, so I sent it back, and the waitress was furious! And they forgot to bring it back, so I ate at different times than the person I was with! I had to ask for the rouille, cheese, and croutons because she didn't bring them! I had a reservation and asked to be seated downstairs, but when I arrived, they put me upstairs, and the haughty waitress told me there were no more tables downstairs, but "the villa"—you'll have to explain to me why, upstairs, at every single table—we were all from the same community gathered together?! I found that shocking, and you can't say it was a coincidence! I will never return, even though I spent a lot of time in this restaurant alone, which not only hasn't changed its menu and the prices have increased dramatically, but the service is also appalling!

05/04/2026: We enjoyed the restaurant during a weekend getaway in the Jura region, and it was a great success. The food was good, the ingredients fresh and very well prepared. The atmosphere was pleasant thanks to the owner, who is sunny, cheerful, and very knowledgeable about her products. Good value for money.

They didn't offer a pre-set menu but rather a personalized proposal tailored to our budget and preferences—absolutely brilliant! Our guests gave us nothing but rave reviews 😁 We will definitely be using L'Atelier du Gourmet again for our next event!

09/10/2025: You don't know Preuilly-sur-Claise. If you go there, do as we did and have lunch or dinner at this superb place. The setting is friendly and cool. The dishes are excellent and everything is homemade. Foie gras Lamb sweetbreads Prawn risotto Salmon And a chocolate éclair to finish, all accompanied by a few glasses of chignon. Not to mention the owner, who is available, helpful, smiling, and professional. Go there with your eyes closed.

03/04/2026: We stumbled upon Les Mourgues by chance. We were desperately searching for a restaurant because it was late and almost all the restaurants were closed. And then this amazing place appeared. The girl who served us was incredibly friendly. We sat down and she wrote down on the translator that they had a set menu, which consisted of soup with bread and vegetables, pâté, and cheese. We asked if there was any meat and she said yes, pork. They brought us a tureen full of delicious soup with vegetables and bread. Then they brought us pâté. We were already full, waiting for the cheese to arrive next (we assumed the soup had been cooked with the pork 😅). To our surprise, they suddenly brought us a plate of pork with vegetables and cooked bread (the photo doesn't do it justice… the platter was enormous!!! We left more than half of it). All of this, along with the soup, is what they call Mique Lève, their specialty. AMAZING!!!!!!! Everything was delicious!!!! And then they brought us a board of exquisite cheeses. We were stuffed, but it was impossible not to keep eating them because they were incredible. To finish, we had homemade desserts: an apple tart and a walnut tart (but they had four more desserts). And coffee. We didn't know how much the amazing meal we had just enjoyed was going to cost. Our surprise came with the bill… incredible value for money! The set menu cost €18. And the service from the staff was outstanding. Highly recommended!

16/05/2026: The tortilla dish was served cold! And the cheeses were cold too. I don't understand the concept for a proper tasting experience. A shame for our taste buds. It's a shame because the service was good. There weren't many people, so the dishes should be served hot and the cheese at room temperature.
