17/10/2024: Two days that we eat there with my colleague, very happy with this restaurant, welcoming and smiling staff, friendly atmosphere without fuss, quality meal and still reasonable price which we found less and less. The only fault for demanding people parking to be redone and place lacks rejuvenation.

06/12/2024: A neighborhood bistro where the locals obviously have their habits. A friendly atmosphere with the boss(es). In terms of cuisine, it's great: quality products and hearty dishes. From the tartare to the chocolate mousse to the bread, everything was tasty.

18/12/2025: Excellent hotel, especially in terms of value for money. It's the first French hotel I've stayed in where the standard rooms are spacious. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, and the service is very friendly. Parking is available in the building's basement. The town center is within walking distance.

01/01/2026: Located on the Loire à Vélo cycle route, Le Relais de Mantelot is nestled beside a lock and the Loire River... The site is pleasant with plenty of green spaces for relaxing or picnicking...😉

09/09/2024: Returning from Ray pic we stopped at Les Glycines a little late for lunch, but we were welcomed with open arms with our dog Oscar, we ate very well for a reasonable price, simple cuisine, we were 2 vegetarians on the 4 people, they thought of us too 👍 vegetarian lasagna or fried salad Homemade blueberry tart dessert The friendly waitresses, next vacation in Ardèche we will certainly come back

But the service was great, very nice waitress and above all restaurant where they accept dogs! 3 dishes and 3 deserts, fresh and homemade products, very tender meat and incredible sauce. 12/09/2025: One of the few restaurants in the area open on Sundays, the food is very simple, the menu basic, but the food is decent. The place lacks lighting; fortunately, the tones are light, otherwise it would have been far too dark. The service was a bit slow for the small group of us, and the duck andouillette was out. The pasta lacked seasoning, and the tiramisu was unfortunately a bit too sweet. In terms of ambiance, some background music would make the place a little less cold.

07/09/2025: We had lunch at the edge of the woods a week ago. We really enjoyed the setting. We had a table inside, which was obviously a few years old but was well-maintained and in very good condition. The room was opulent and quiet. We had a beautiful view of the terrace, which was very green and beautiful. On the other hand, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. The appetizers were pleasant, but the rest was not up to par. The main course was sea bass with beurre blanc sauce, served as they would have been 20 or 30 years ago. The dessert consisted of figs that had absolutely no flavor. Really none, which is surprising at this time of year when these fruits are at their peak. The service was unfriendly, unreceptive, and gave the impression of working under pressure, without pleasure. We reflected that this beautiful setting deserved a refresh of the culinary offerings.

30/12/2025: Located on a main road, with parking. The daily special was very good: duck confit with sautéed garlic potatoes – yum! The children's menu included a hamburger and homemade fries, which were excellent. A cordial was also included. They also offer dishes featuring duck, andouillette sausage, and chicken. Excellent desserts: crème brûlée, cheesecake, and fresh fruit salad. We tried them. They also have chocolate cake, etc. The decor is a garage with cars, etc. Very reasonable prices. We recommend it.
