08/05/2026: Had a fantastic experience at TRATTORIA DI MARIO in Gouzeaucourt! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and authentic Italian-inspired flavors. The pizzas were perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and fresh toppings, and the other dishes were equally tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and welcoming, making it a great place for both family meals and casual dining with friends. The staff were very kind, attentive, and provided quick and efficient service even when busy. Great value for money, a clean and comfortable setting, and consistently good food make this a place I would happily return to. 31/10/2025: We stopped at this establishment, initially just for one night, before catching our flight. The warm welcome encouraged us to stay for dinner. A wonderful surprise awaited us: a variety of veal dishes were offered, as they source from a local farmer. We ordered their signature dish: veal escalope "Macchie" style. Excuse my language: it was absolutely divine. A true delight: traditional cuisine, the kind you unfortunately find very rarely: generous and flavorful. Congratulations to the entire team. 11/04/2026: A rather disappointing experience for a restaurant located in a 4-star hotel. The dining room clearly lacks refinement: an unwelcoming atmosphere, bare tables with only placemats and paper napkins… it falls far short of what one would expect at this level. The windows, visibly uncleaned for some time, only exacerbate the situation and contribute to an overall impression of neglect. As for the service, it is quick and efficient. The servers do their job adequately, but the welcome lacks smiles and friendliness. The general atmosphere gives the impression of a disaffected team, which is reflected in the customer experience. The food is decent, but frankly unremarkable. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. The menu is quite limited, which is surprising for an establishment of this caliber. The prices, however, are in line with a 4-star hotel… unlike the overall experience. It's a shame, because we expected much better.
