27/08/2026: The restaurant and staff were pleasant. The meat wasn't cooked as requested (it was undercooked). The price paid was not the one displayed on the tables or at the entrance (an extra €1 per course for the meat).

26/08/2026: A very family-friendly place, with what seems to be a lot of regulars. The service is excellent, very friendly and welcoming. And we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the warm welcome.

06/08/2026: A truly beautiful place! Whether under the large interior glass roof (very cool, even in the middle of summer) or on the terrace, which offers a real escape from the city, the setting is extremely pleasant. The selection of starters is excellent, and the main courses are just as good and very generous. The table service is top-notch, with friendly, responsive waiters and minimal waiting. The only downside was the welcome. It was the complete opposite of the rest of the experience: cold and unfriendly. The person at the entrance, seated at the counter, preferred to finish what she was doing on her phone before attending to us, then continued checking her messages while escorting us to our table. A real disconnect from the rest of the meal.

28/09/2026: A very nice restaurant with a magnificent terrace. It's best suited to the summer months as it has a large terrace and the road leading there is quite winding. The dishes are generous and delicious. The value for money is excellent. Reservations are highly recommended, and remember to bring your checkbook as they don't accept cards 😩

27/07/2026: I came here in October of last year, and forgot to write a review but I couldn’t let it slide after such an amazing experience, We’d just visited the catacombs nearby, and were looking for a cozy place to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we found La Vie d’Ange. The owner happened to be in the place and welcomed us, the food was delicious and the hospitality made the night even more special than we expected :) Definitely a place id recommend to anyone looking for a place with a lot of heart behind every plate and welcoming gesture. Thank you for making that night so memorable.

18/05/2026: We came as a group of six for the Ascension weekend and had a very pleasant stay. Our mobile home was a premium model, very well equipped. Nothing was lacking. The terrace was perfect for relaxing. The activities offered didn't interest us (we came to explore the area by motorbike), but we did enjoy the heated, covered swimming pool. The water sports center is excellent, and the boat trips through the gorges are breathtaking. The staff, whether at reception, in the restaurant, the grocery store, or at the water sports center, are friendly, professional, and always smiling. We highly recommend this establishment.

06/10/2026: Great time! The waiter was very friendly and the food excellent. This brasserie doesn't look like much, but honestly, it's worth the trip. My colleagues had the flank steak, which they loved. I had the fish and chips, which was truly excellent, and the tartar sauce was divine. Thank you.

23/09/2026: During our visit to Ganges, we received a wonderful welcome. We loved the couscous and tagine, as well as the excellent oriental pastries and mint tea. We will be back!

15/09/2026: Wonderful little traditional restaurant. Excellent and flavorful meal, authentic Corsican cuisine at the tip of your fork. The children's menu was perfectly cooked and a delight; our son absolutely loved it.

14/09/2026: Absolutely not a tourist trap! Here you get authentic, original Corsican cuisine and warm, welcoming service. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The escalope with mushrooms in flambéed sauce is especially recommended – simply superb! If you truly want to experience Corsican cuisine, this is the place to go. Highly recommended! 25/08/2026: Night market in Joyeuse - live music in front of the terrace, attentive and friendly staff, delicious food (burgers, Caesar salad & ice cream). What more could you want?

23/08/2026: We came to eat this evening with our 14-month-old twins. We had taken the time to call ahead to let them know we had two babies with us. We were eventually told to come between 7:00 and 7:30 pm, without a reservation. Upon arrival, I mentioned that we had called. The waitress replied, in a rather cold and unfriendly tone, "No, I wasn't informed about the babies." We then asked if it would be possible to have two high chairs. We had even brought our own seats to attach to regular chairs if needed. They finally brought us the only high chair available, and then we clearly sensed that having to find a second one seemed to bother them, with comments implying that we were going to "take" a chair meant for other customers. The meal was decent, without being exceptional, but it was mainly the welcome and the staff's attitude that disappointed us. And unfortunately, the worst part was when it came time to pay. The cashier was particularly unpleasant and dismissive. Her attitude and the way she spoke to me were frankly inappropriate. We are fully aware that coming to a restaurant with two young children can require some planning, and in fact, we had taken the trouble to call ahead. We weren't asking for anything special, just a minimum of welcome, respect, and consideration. It's a shame, because with more pleasant staff, the experience could have been completely different.

02/09/2026: The crepes were good, but nothing special; the egg on my crepe was cooked through and not runny, and the mushroom was too big. However, the service was excellent; the young woman was incredibly kind! You can tell she loves her job! Well done to her. The restaurant is also very reasonably priced.
