10/03/2026: The welcome, cleanliness, and quiet atmosphere were excellent, and the quality/price ratio was very good. Personally, I found the shrimp and chicken to be slightly undercooked. This is just my personal preference.

We ate at this restaurant twice, in August and September. Each time, we experienced a rare moment. The chef manages to make classic dishes (for example, the salt cod brande or the celery remoulade) exceptional.
08/09/2025: In a city that loves blended cuisine, there remains an indomitable chef who delights everyone with dishes full of Southern flavors!
Jean-Luc Rabanel eschews trends in favor of precise and very gourmet cuisine. The dishes are generous! We'll be back!

20/12/2025: This was my first experience at a fine dining restaurant, and I wasn't disappointed. The service was very friendly and professional, and the evening cocktail was delicious. The dishes were flavorful and surprisingly generous considering their elegant presentation. We will gladly return.

11/02/2026: I came to work in Cahors and discovered the Gambetta bistro by chance. I went back for dinner because of the quality of the ingredients, the delicious dishes prepared with care, and, as a bonus, the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend it!

08/03/2026: Passing through Château-Gontier for work, I stopped by this establishment. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the food was disappointing. The menu was far too extensive, with too many choices. I suspect many of the meals were pre-prepared, resulting in bland dishes and tasteless sauces.

04/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! France Miniature is a fantastic experience, showcasing French monuments from across the country's different regions. A great family outing with children aged 2 and 8. There are even rides within the park. The locations and monuments are beautifully reproduced. I highly recommend it.

18/03/2026: As the neighbor right above, I can warn you that this bar has absolutely no respect for others. I've called them a good ten times before and after closing to ask them to turn the music down a little (so I can sleep), but every night it's the same: loud techno with the bass blasting, the sound of chairs slamming on the floor (at 7 or 8 am and sometimes 2 or 3 am). I can't take it anymore. Next time I'm calling the cops.

19/10/2025: I ate here for lunch on the terrace. I had the pork cheeks in sauce accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Then I had the gourmet plate with homemade desserts. Then everything is homemade except the ice cream. The server was very kind and pleasant, he opened the terrace just for us. I think you should expect to pay €20-30 per person if you want to eat there.
19/10/2025: We only ate at the inn, but the meal was extremely good and the welcome was of a rare quality! The service was impeccable and the employees were very pleasant in a very nice setting.
