05/07/2026: Very bad experience – prices not honored and unacceptable explanations. We spent the day at Playa Baggia and were very disappointed by the complete lack of price transparency. First problem: the Chicken Club Sandwich is listed at €22 on the restaurant menu, as well as online. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged €26 each, which is €8 more for two dishes. When we asked for an explanation, we were told that the price was €26 because it was “real chicken.” This response is simply unacceptable. When a dish is advertised as a Chicken Club Sandwich, the customer is obviously entitled to assume that it is indeed chicken. If the price changes depending on the quality or type of product, this must be clearly indicated on the menu before ordering, and not only revealed at the time of payment. Second problem: the sun loungers were quoted at €35 when we booked a week in advance, but they were ultimately charged at €40 each on arrival, meaning €10 more for two loungers. In total, between the food and the loungers, this represents an €18 difference between the advertised/displayed prices and the prices actually charged. The issue isn't the amount itself, but a matter of principle and compliance with current legislation: a customer must be able to trust the prices displayed on a menu or quoted during a reservation. A different price cannot be applied when the bill arrives without clear prior notification. I've attached photos of the menu, the website, and the receipts so that future customers can see the discrepancies for themselves. A very bad experience; I felt misled about the prices. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

05/06/2026: A quality restaurant that doesn't strive for excessive sophistication, but cultivates the pleasure of good food. The atmosphere is convivial, the food carefully prepared, and then there's the Chartreuse baba. For the wine, we let the owner guide us: an affordable little Côtes du Rhône that was easily as good as a grand cru.

21/05/2026: I go there regularly and I'm never disappointed. The welcome and the staff are top-notch. The food is very, very good and there's a lot of choice. Everything is homemade, which makes the place even nicer. There are tons of different desserts, all delicious, and the same goes for the appetizers! The price is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients, which is superb. 👍

02/04/2026: Looking for a 4-day solo getaway without a car at the end of March, I found the perfect hotel: - very well located: all shops, cinema, and bus station are less than a 5-minute walk away; hiking trails start from a 10-minute walk. - half-board or full-board options available (perfect after hiking); - simple hotel and rooms (hence the attractive price) but it has everything you need; - the best part: attentive owners and a friendly, family atmosphere

13/05/2026: A wonderful discovery during the Olego festival. The food, the welcome, the friendly atmosphere, the generous and beautifully presented dishes—everything was perfect. The terrace was very pleasant. The service was excellent. They used high-quality, seasonal ingredients.

14/06/2026: Disappointing. We had reserved a table for three. We arrived at the scheduled time of 12:45. The waitress gave us the menu. We all chose the set menu for €29. The waitress took our order and then came back to tell us that the main course was no longer available and had been replaced with beef bourguignon. Two of us accepted this change, but the third person didn't like the dish, so we asked for something else. At that point, the head chef came to our table and told us it was impossible; we would have to order all the courses (starter, main course, dessert) à la carte. We told her we were willing to pay the difference if necessary, but she wouldn't budge. We then suggested we only order two of the three desserts, which we would share... she wouldn't budge from the menu and offered no compensation. In conclusion: we came to relax at the restaurant but couldn't eat the set menu, or even a dish we liked. We were then faced with an inflexible and stubborn chef, even though it wasn't our fault she offered a menu she couldn't deliver. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. We got up and left at 1 p.m. and ended up having lunch at another restaurant, without a reservation, which was very good, about 2 km away.
