28/04/2026: A wonderful thalassotherapy weekend! The staff was lovely! The meals were delicious, gourmet, and flavorful! The spa and treatments were perfect. We especially enjoyed the body scrub and massage, and the masseuses had expert hands. The seawater spa was so relaxing! We highly recommend Thalazur Arcachon! Thank you!

08/10/2026: We were very disappointed by the €59 menu, which featured very ordinary dishes such as pissaladière and rabbit pâté as starters, and kefta as main courses. We expected more creativity and flavor. We had been there several times before, but this birthday meal will be our last at this establishment.

03/10/2026: This restaurant truly feels like being in the owners' home. It creates a very pleasant atmosphere. It's not always easy to navigate the three menus. The dishes are generous and excellent, with authentic local flavors! We had a wonderful time... until the dessert, which was advertised as coming from a small pastry chef "we've worked with for a long time and who makes our desserts." As a restaurant professional myself, I know this large company very well, and the dessert offered that evening is prominently featured in their catalog. It's a shame to end on such a note! Warning: Parking is very limited.

23/09/2026: I've known them for years; always very friendly, in a magical setting with live music in the "hold". But... I was disappointed by my burger and fries, which were served lukewarm, and what's more, they couldn't even give me mustard!! With fries??!! That's just not acceptable. This kind of place MUST resist homogenization... they do it with their menu... their style, but lukewarm fries without mustard? No way!

13/09/2026: Lunch with two friends from the workshop. A very pleasant surprise, it was mussels and fries day, delicious! But for dessert, I had a crêpe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a mirabelle plum fricassee, accompanied by a glass of cider (very good). Great! I'll be back.

12/10/2026: After visiting Lautrec, a charming gentleman recommended this place to us. Lovely terrace and service provided by very pleasant young people. The Lautrec pizza was original and excellent.

11/09/2026: I came here after seeing the positive reviews and was looking forward to treating myself to a nice dinner after two days of work in the area. The presentation was lovely, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I ordered the €26 Black Angus noix d’entrecôte, cooked medium. Despite the centre still being pink, the steak was extremely chewy and difficult to eat, and it wasn’t properly warm when it arrived. The fries were also very thin and not hot — honestly, I found them worse than frozen fries. I raised the issue with the waitress while I was eating. I was told the chewiness was because Angus beef contains fat, and if I wanted something else I would need to pay for another dish. I tried to continue eating it but eventually gave up after about half and paid the bill in full. Such a shame because it looked much better than it tasted. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend the Black Angus noix d’entrecôte. Edit on 11/9 to reply the restaurant response Thank you for your response. I fully understand that ribeye has more texture and fat than fillet. My review describes my experience with the particular steak I was served, which I found extremely chewy, with a significant amount of tough tissue, and I was unable to finish it. Regarding the service, I can only describe the conversation as I experienced and understood it. When I raised the issue, I understood from the waitress that if I chose another dish, I would need to pay for it. Had I understood that a replacement would be provided without an additional charge, I would of course have accepted it rather than continuing to struggle with the steak and leaving approximately half of it uneaten. I paid the bill in full and left without making any further issue of it. My review is simply an account of my experience that evening.

17/09/2026: We went in September. We didn't need a reservation, but the restaurant filled up quickly. I think you should book in peak season. The food was very good, the portions generous, and the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant.

20/09/2026: We had a wonderful time on the terrace on a Saturday at lunchtime! The food was plentiful and delicious, all at a reasonable price. The waitresses were welcoming, efficient, and friendly. We'll be back! :)
