13/05/2026: A superb and original meal in the Périgord region. The dining room was beautiful and inviting, and the meal was delicious: a trio of foie gras, roasted monkfish with vegetables, and a Grand Marnier soufflé paired with a delightful 2023 Corrèze red wine, "Les 1001 Pierres." The setting was lovely, the chairs very comfortable, and the staff attentive. An excellent meal for two; the price was a little high, but the quality, quantity, and originality were all there (€58 per person without coffee). Bravo!

30/05/2026: We had lunch there today and were greeted by a warm and energetic waitress! The food took a little while to arrive, but I think it's a small team. However, the wait was worth it, at least for the food. I had a whole sea bass with vegetables; it was absolutely delicious, the fish was cooked perfectly, and the quality was excellent. I don't regret ordering an extra side of fries; they were simply DELICIOUS. My partner had the turbot fillet, which was superb, with a very good sauce and the fish was also cooked perfectly. We were a little less impressed with the desserts. I found the pastry of the strawberry tartlet not golden/crispy enough, and the pastry cream wasn't smooth enough; I don't know how to describe it, it was kind of lumpy. The ingredients are fresh, and it shows. The quality/price ratio is good considering the location. We recommend it for a successful lunch! 👌🏻😇

16/08/2026: A true Parisian brasserie, just the way we like them, with excellent food and friendly service! We came for the typical brasserie decor, and we'll be back for everything else. A great find!

18/08/2026: We spontaneously decided to visit Lannion and were feeling a bit peckish. We spontaneously chose the QG Bar and got four seats on the terrace, which was a bit cramped but still very cozy. The staff were very friendly, and even with our rudimentary school French, communication went very well. We ordered a burger, fish and chips, Breton sausages, and a children's portion of chicken nuggets. All dishes came with sides – fries and salad. The food arrived very quickly and was really good. We were very impressed and highly recommend the QG Bar.

16/08/2026: A lovely discovery! This small, unpretentious crêperie in Cancale has a shaded terrace open until 1:30 pm. The welcome and service were impeccable. The crêpes are delicious; I had the Cancalaise 😋 I highly recommend it. In peak season, be sure to book ahead.

30/07/2026: A huge disappointment. The meat was far too overcooked, and the tuna tataki was uninteresting. The service was amateurish, with an interminable wait between courses, especially 30 to 45 minutes for dessert. Once it was finally served, we were almost immediately asked to pay the bill because service was ending. A very clumsy approach that made us feel like we were being bothered. Absolutely not up to the prestige of the Negresco. A very pretentious restaurant, typical of the French Riviera, where you're mainly paying for the image. Avoid this place: you'll eat better, receive better service, and pay less elsewhere.

22/07/2026: Classic French bistro. I had lunch there during the week. The wait was quite long and the shredded lamb had far too much fat and skin for me to eat.

25/06/2026: The location is ideal, right on the waterfront. You can enjoy delicious Alsatian dishes while admiring the boats passing on the Lauch River and the beautiful flower-filled balconies. However, this picture-postcard setting comes at a price. The food is good, but it's not quite worth the cost on its own: €24 for the ham hock and potatoes, and €10 for the strudel with a scoop of ice cream, is a bit pricey for a plate. The bill is therefore justified more by the exceptional location and truly top-notch service. I'm not giving it a perfect score for this reason, but it's still a great place to discover for its atmosphere!

22/06/2026: Arrogant and not worth it. Staff is not communicating about expected table availability. Once ordered , it tool 1h for our meals to get delivered. While nearby tables got same food delivered in 15’. Some staff can’t handle expectations of a busy restaurant where orders and asks getting forgotten, lengthening experience further. Food was too bland. Chicken too dry and tough to chew, special bake severely lacking salt. Beautiful location, but not worth the lengthy wait, arrogance and mediocre meal.

14/08/2026: Too long, it's 12:30 pm, peak rush hour, 3 people in the kitchen, and an endless queue!!!!

14/07/2026: If you're in the area, stop by. We had breakfast there four days and aperitivo four nights. Everything was excellent, but what we loved most was the courtesy.

24/06/2026: Had a spectacular dining experience on our last day in Paris! The menu had a great balance between traditional French cuisine (which my French partner applauded) and other cuisine options. We had the leeks (Poireaux Vinaigrette, I believe), escargot, Thai crispy chicken salad, steak with a burgundy wine reduction/shallots/dauphine potatoes, and their special daily pie which was pear (poire torte). The wine was a selection from the wine shoppe up the hill, the glass of rose was incredibly enjoyable and I rarely enjoy wine! Lastly, our waitress was so personable and humorous. So glad we got to experience this place and have to give them praise! ✨

27/05/2026: How can I describe the pleasure we had in our superior room with its king-size bed, incredible walk-in shower, and… a truly royal breakfast!!!! All this, plus a wonderful welcome, lovely conversations, and a simplicity that perfectly matched the quality of our stay! We'll be back very soon to try the restaurant, and best of luck to the whole team!

20/07/2026: We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance. Although dogs aren't usually allowed inside, they welcomed our Labrador and immediately brought him a water bowl! The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes, as we couldn't translate everything. Absolutely recommended – a real hidden gem!
