06/08/2026: First time here and a little disappointed. The waitstaff didn't seem very experienced and were generally overwhelmed for a small number of tables. The food and quality could also be improved. This didn't detract from the friendly welcome, however.

31/07/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars for the quality of the food and the location. There were four of us on the terrace. The setting is superb, but a table for two was right next to ours, leaving little privacy for the couple dining there. It would be nice to leave a bit more space between the tables. As for the food, the frogs' legs were delicious (we would have liked slightly more generous portions), the sea bream was cooked perfectly, and the pizza was good. However, my partner had ordered the pizza + dessert set menu for €28, while the à la carte menu is €31. But when it arrived, we received a tiny pizza the size of a dessert plate! A complete disappointment. To our surprise, the waitress replied that it was clearly stated that the pizza on the set menu was 28cm. That was true; we hadn't noticed. However, she could have pointed it out to us when we ordered, rather than mentioning it in a tone that implied "you need to be able to read." Needless to say, we won't be going back, as we really feel like we've been ripped off.

06/08/2026: It's a shame the owner doesn't answer the phone or bother to call back after leaving a message to reserve a table six days later... I had fond memories of the place, hence my 3-star rating; otherwise, I would have given it a 1.

22/07/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating my father's 68th birthday. If you're on holiday in the area, come and try local dishes with a modern twist at this superb restaurant. And above all, try the Chignin Bergeron and meet the lovely team at "Aux Petits Oignons."

03/07/2026: We should thank Steeve for his culinary talents... however, they are spoiled by the crude and familiar humor of his sidekick who, by filming everything on social media, including the customers (without their knowledge?), will inevitably put you down (even if you give them visibility on social media) or engage in incoherent conversations.

20/07/2026: On paper, the experience looked promising. The food was certainly good, with some interesting concepts. Special mention goes to the starter and dessert, which shared the same presentation, with one portion to share and another for individual serving. However, the service was almost catastrophic. The starter arrived far too quickly without even being offered a drink. We had to repeatedly approach the waiter for a glass, so the one we ordered to complement the dish only arrived at the very end… a small consolation, as they offered it free of charge. Our waiter, at least, had the merit of being very pleasant and affable despite his incompetence. In short, a real shame!

06/08/2026: A must-try if you appreciate good food. A true delight, served with a smile and genuine warmth. Everything is delicious, real gastronomy at affordable prices. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

23/07/2026: Restaurant with truck parking, but in the evening, it's best to reserve... before you get hungry! Only one seating and no space for walk-ins. A shame, we left without being able to try the food. Note that a reserved table doesn't get served, unlike a regular customer who shows up at the door!

16/08/2026: An incredible and perfect experience. We chose a main course and dessert, and it was delicious and expertly prepared. Moreover, it's a beautiful family business that continues to thrive in a lovely atmosphere, with great finesse and professionalism. And the prices are truly reasonable for the quality of the food. You can go there without hesitation; we highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: I’m an American tourist, and this place was great! It’s very popular among the locals, authentic French food for MUCH better price than downtown, and great service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to people watch at a quintessential jazz bistro. We came during happy hour, and the drinks were good too.
