24/04/2026: We went to La Filature after a funeral for a snack on the veranda. The setting is beautiful, the food and drinks were very good, and the service was excellent.

17/05/2026: Superb restaurant in a magnificent setting. The chef creates his menus based on seasonal produce, which is quite rare and very pleasant. The welcome is very friendly and pleasant. The service is equally excellent. At the end of service, the chef makes the rounds to chat with his customers. That's also not common. I would be delighted to return to this restaurant. I recommend it without hesitation.

30/03/2026: We were looking forward to discovering this restaurant in La Grave for a nice evening with friends. Upon arriving a little early for our reservation, we were met with a rude awakening: the waitress told us to wait outside (in the snow) with all the politeness of a prison guard. Returning a few minutes later, we were seated. The same unfriendly waitress, visibly exasperated by even the slightest question, took our order. The raclette arrived, along with its side dish. A pleasant surprise: everything was very good. However, we were subjected to unpleasant service throughout the evening, which really spoiled the experience. We won't be going back. What a shame! The setting and the food were worth it.

29/03/2026: The restaurant was ok. Too much heavy sauce on almost any dish we had. Quiet atmosphere and very nice service and people in general.

12/04/2026: The pizzas were delicious. The grilled sea bass fillet was inexpensive and had an excellent beurre blanc sauce. The only downside was the noisy dining room because it was too small.

09/04/2026: The pizzas are very good and there's a great selection. Special mention goes to the Pavarotti and the five cheese.

15/05/2026: A pleasant restaurant in the heart of the city, the menu is varied with local and Lyonnais specialties, as well as fresh fish from the lake. The dishes are very well presented and of high quality. The owner is very friendly, but our waiter was barely polite and not very efficient.

04/01/2026: Okay, sorry, but I'm going to give it two stars. The first star because you can't start from scratch, and the second, which is the only good point, is that they at least said hello. After that notable event, it was like stepping into another dimension. The atmosphere was quite austere, a bit "uncomfortable" in this bar/restaurant. We were there, but we didn't exist! We waited patiently standing to order, but no one bothered to acknowledge us or even glance at us, for what seemed like an eternity. So we turned around and left. Perhaps our faces didn't deserve to boost their profits. We resigned ourselves to it, feeling ignored. Well, I don't blame them, it's just a shame to be in business when you clearly don't understand the basics. And maybe they simply don't need customers; besides, it didn't look like there was a rush of people coming in for a Saturday night. So we went to Lord's, and it was honestly great. I'd give them a solid 5/5 for their hospitality and service; they clearly know how to treat their customers. You should take note.

17/05/2026: We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to the warm and friendly atmosphere. A huge thank you to the team for their warm welcome and kind staff. The service was seamless, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And above all, the food was delicious: the portions were generous and the portions were amazing. A place to remember!

28/04/2026: A very nice restaurant that can accommodate large groups, with a great atmosphere. We ate very well, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our only complaint was the wait to be served (on a Saturday). We'll be back.

27/04/2026: The minced steak was undercooked and still pink, the fries were barely lukewarm, the drinks were served immediately, but the mussels arrived 40 minutes later! You'd think they'd gone fishing at sea! The fries were lukewarm, just like other reviews: customers who arrived later were served first! The waitresses didn't know how to fix the situation, and in the kitchen, you wonder if they have enough staff. Luckily, Estebetch didn't come by, even just for the sake of speed... You can't say they were overwhelmed, there were few tables occupied... Seriously, this is the second time in two years, nothing has changed, I'm done.

06/04/2026: Everything was perfect. The €54 menu allowed us to discover dishes we don't usually eat, such as snail ravioli and pigeon. Delicious and refined.

13/02/2026: Excellent set menu at €53. Nice wine list, including a Georgian white that we really enjoyed. Small, quiet, and charming dining room. And the lovely village of Tourtour is well worth a visit. We will definitely be back.

22/03/2026: Although we hadn't made a reservation and all the restaurants (including this one) were fully booked that evening, the owner managed to accommodate us by finding a solution. In the end, we didn't regret being turned away elsewhere, as the evening was such a success! It's a friendly, family-run establishment with a very pleasant, down-to-earth atmosphere. The raclette was excellent and, above all, very generous. For dessert, the French toast-style brioche was initially offered with salted caramel, but the chef kindly agreed to serve us homemade chocolate sauce at our request; we greatly appreciated this gesture. A very good address that we will definitely remember for our next visits to Vars.
