23/04/2026: Always a perfect welcome, delicious homemade food. We returned to this restaurant for lunch after a very satisfying first visit. The "roasted Camembert with salad" starter was very flavorful. The galette was generously filled and delicious. The chocolate fondant with its red berry coulis delighted my taste buds. All accompanied, for me, by a glass of Saumur Champigny. Congratulations and thank you again to the whole team. Highly recommended! 🤗

09/11/2025: Nice little restaurant; given the season, we had lunch inside. We enjoyed the homemade black pudding with mashed potatoes, which brought back memories of the good old days. Pleasant service and a very reasonable bill. What more could you ask for? We'll be back.

13/06/2026: This is my second time at this restaurant, and I'm disappointed once again, not by the simple food, but by the rudeness and the organized chaos... we had at least four different servers, none of whom said hello, "enjoy your meal," or anything like that. The only greeting we received was at the entrance... but not from a member of the staff. We felt... dismissed. It's a shame because we spent almost two hours at the table... in short, I won't be back.

02/07/2026: We absolutely loved all the dishes. Different and original flavors and recipes. The risotto was incredible, very unique. Everything was wonderful. A great wine list. The music was very good, not intrusive. The service was excellent, very friendly, and they gave us great wine recommendations. If you're in Saint Martin de Ré, you must eat here.

28/06/2026: The dishes were well-prepared and delicious, and the terrace was pleasant. It's a shame the service wasn't up to par. Our starters were served before the wines and cocktails, and we felt rushed throughout the meal.

07/07/2026: We spent three days in Praz-sur-Arly and both evenings we had a wonderful meal at Les Ronins. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The ramen was delicious, and we couldn't resist the dessert, the Grand Marnier soufflé. It was amazing; we've never had anything so good. We highly recommend it.

19/05/2026: This is my third visit with my friend, Mr. François Soria. We were delighted to return to this restaurant, which uses excellent fresh, regional ingredients. We enjoyed a glass of champagne on the restaurant's terrace to celebrate the arrival of warmer weather. We savored a duck terrine served with cornichons, followed by two excellent andouillettes accompanied by vegetables and an assortment of cheeses. All of this was complemented by an excellent red wine recommended by the sommelier, and to finish, a rhubarb cake and a espresso.

06/05/2026: Beautiful garden at the back where the atmosphere changes completely. You almost forget that the RN 7 is right next door. Good food, good set menu prices at lunchtime. A warm welcome. And a superb and rather unique wine and digestif cellar.

30/04/2026: We did a cycling leg with the children, and it wasn't as restful as we'd hoped. We were glad to find a clean bed and a good meal in the evening without having to get back on our bikes. However, the hotel is very poorly soundproofed, and we were repeatedly told not to make any noise. I wish I'd had this information when booking, or even upon arrival, especially since I took the initiative to call to check that it met our needs. A family cycling trip is stressful enough as it is! I suggest the hotel create a small space where children can feel comfortable—and parents too, with suitable activities (perhaps there's a quieter area in the hotel or outside where the noise is less bothersome than in the room)—if they want to properly welcome families on bikes, or else clearly state that we're not welcome—like in train carriages without children! I felt trapped in my hotel room between the busy road and the cliff behind the hotel, with little to do for my children (we travel light by bike!) and a baby who needed to move around. There are plenty of interesting initiatives at this hotel, but my overall experience as a guest was not good.

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

28/02/2026: Nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Could be a bit cleaner. Cobwebs were hanging overhead. Don't look up. Lol. The food was a bit too exposed for my liking. Friendly, cheerful, and smiling staff.

A huge thank you to the team for their warm welcome and kind staff. The service was seamless, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And above all, the food was delicious: the portions were generous and the portions were amazing. A place to remember!
