15/08/2026: A hidden gem. A very beautiful location and the staff is very friendly. French dishes on the menu, which isn't very extensive but is often good precisely because of that. It is reasonably pricey, but everyone ate well. And then I don't mind paying for it. The view is amazing while you enjoy a bite or a drink. Lovely. Right next door is a very fun Adventure climbing park.

31/07/2026: A very warm welcome. The dishes were at the perfect temperature and cooked perfectly. A highly recommended address. In a peaceful location.

12/08/2026: Delicious crepes! However, the service was friendly but only minimal. On a very hot day, and with four young children at our table, we still had to wait 30 minutes for a carafe of water. A table identical to ours, arriving at the same time, was served much more quickly… a shame, it slightly spoiled the experience. We understand that the August rush isn't easy. But simply having water on the tables immediately when it's hot would be a much-appreciated bonus. 😄

12/08/2026: Terrible welcome... We were offered a table for two, one seat of which was in direct sunlight. We moved the table about 20 centimeters to get some shade while still leaving room for the waitress... And then the manager told us, "No, you have to leave room for me to serve you." Okay, but given her tone, I'd rather leave and spend my money elsewhere.

25/06/2026: Excellent restaurant! Oysters as a starter, and the fish of the day was a delight! We were pleasantly surprised by the desserts, worthy of a pastry chef (the pistachio mousse and raspberry tiramisu and the mandarin cream baba were divine). Thank you for delighting us with homemade food and for being so friendly. Don't change a thing! 😊

15/05/2026: An exceptional stay at this 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and very comfortable. The staff is attentive and caring throughout our stay. The location is calm and peaceful, ideal for relaxation, with a magnificent, expansive garden and an extraordinary swimming pool. A true haven of luxury and serenity.

25/05/2026: Another wonderful evening at Le Vieux Pressoir in Itterswiller. As always, we received a very warm welcome from Aubin and the owner. It was especially lovely that they even knew my name. 😊 We enjoyed it so much that we went back twice. The meat was excellent, the asparagus perfectly prepared, and the strawberry ice cream was also delicious. The atmosphere in the courtyard during the summer is simply magnificent and makes the experience even more special. Keep up the good work, we'll be back with great pleasure!

11/08/2026: Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a gentleman with a simple "hello," who pointed to our table. When I politely asked which table he meant, I received a semi-aggressive reply: "That's not the corner table I'm indicating." We should have left immediately, as this gentleman remained arrogant, aggressive, and insolent throughout the entire meal. He shoved our plates under our noses as if we were in a cafeteria, or as if we were serving wild animals. The same went for the dessert menu. Observing the other customers, I noticed he treated them all the same. It's very, very disappointing. We remained polite to him (as did the other customers), but he seemed to have nothing but contempt for everyone. It's truly sad. I advise against going into the establishment if you see the man with glasses and a ponytail. It should also be mentioned that the woman who ran the place was very friendly and cheerful! The food itself was very good.

11/08/2026: The food and wine were excellent. However, it's worth noting that most of the dishes are reinterpretations. Unfortunately, the service was truly awful because the waiter was insolent; he threw plates and menus onto the table without a word. It's a real shame, because the woman serving us was very kind, but the waiter's mood was absolutely dreadful. So, if you see a waiter wearing glasses, avoid this restaurant.

20/05/2026: Excellent place, warm service! I enjoyed an excellent beef tartare and, as a bonus, the best fries I've had in a very long time :))

24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...

14/05/2026: I'm only giving one star because the gentleman who served us was nice, but honestly, the food... I don't mean to be unpleasant, but it wasn't good, nothing more to say. I'm not going to publicly shame anyone, but there's definitely room for improvement. We were extremely disappointed, truly disgusted... What reassures me is that the ladies at the next table were saying the same thing about their fondue... so it wasn't just us...
