06/09/2026: Les Dunes is an amazing course and v challenging, in particular the greens. At the end of the round you can sit on the veranda watching people struggle to hit the ball over the lake onto the 18th green

02/09/2026: I'm giving 3 stars because the service was impeccable and the waitress was professional and smiling. The Welsh rarebit I ordered was poor quality. It was grainy and dry, served in a long dish, which meant the cook had to wrap the slice of bread in the ham. The bread was dry, mushy, and tasteless. And yet it was the daily special! Very disappointed, and they forgot to bring us a carafe of water. I won't be back.

04/10/2026: We came as a family. My parents wanted to show us this place. It would have been a shame if we hadn't known about this restaurant. The service was pleasant and quick, the food generous, featuring local products and meats cooked in a wood-fired oven. They also had a good wine list. We highly recommend it and we will be back. Thank you to the whole team!

20/09/2026: I have been visiting the restaurant for many years and always enjoyed an excellent meal and service. It is in the village of Saint Saturnin de Lucian a 45 minute walk through the vineyards from Jonquieres. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere is great. Booking is essential

28/09/2026: A little corner of France, untouched by time, and so comforting. In this very pretty village on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, you'll find this "real" village bistro, family-run as it should be. In this bistronomic desert—between the neglected Rambouillet, the inns trying too hard, and the unjustifiably overpriced Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay—here is the real deal. The welcome is attentive, the truly homemade cuisine is simple and good—delicious parsley ham, perfect tripe, salmon (overcooked) but well-seasoned—you feel right at home. The family bistro has been taken over by the grandchildren who believe in it, and so do we! Pleasant terrace by a quiet road.

16/09/2026: We were made to feel unworthy when we arrived without booking. When that same greeter asked for drink orders, he yelled at me for asking for what cocktails they offered with Chartreuse. Note that two very large bottles were displayed prominently at the bar. He shouted, "Chartreuse is a digestif!" and stomped away. Later a waitress came and I ordered a gin with Chartreuse and lemon juice. After awhile she returned and stated that they couldn't mix cocktails. Note that the blackboard displayed two cocktail specials, a Bloody Mary and a London Fog. The food was good but not great. Our order of the velvety vegetables produced a gruel-gray soup that while tasty, looked like death. The chicken was actually delicious, but the escargot, if you could fine them, tasted like nothing but butter and herbs. By the way, when we left, many tables remained open despite the "booking" pretense. If this is your idea of a French restaurant experience, go for it. For me , it was insulting. By the way on our two previous nights in Bayeux, we had delightful restaurant experiences.

16/09/2026: The food is very good, but the major drawback is the wait, even though we had a reservation. We received our meal an hour and a half after ordering. What a shame. Two hours for a main course and dessert.

12/09/2026: The owner was very friendly. Even though she was about to close, she let us in. We ordered crêpes, cappuccino, and hot chocolate. Everything was absolutely delicious! Homemade cream, homemade jam, and the "cocoa" was made from a bar of chocolate melted in hot milk!

06/09/2026: We were welcomed with great kindness. The herring salad was delicious, perfectly seasoned, the roast pork was tender and flavorful, and the crème brûlée was divine. A peaceful moment just steps from Montmartre.

12/09/2026: Charming terrace featuring a small chalet from which service is provided. It is located next to La Table d'Emilie, and that is also where the food comes from. Service was slow; we waited well over forty-five minutes, and then everything arrived at once. Good flavors and attractively presented.
