10/10/2026: Giving this place a great review despite *really* not liking the jazz act we heard on the Friday night we went (we gather it's different acts all the time, so don't let that put you off). The tapas dishes we had were fantastic, and the service efficient and fun. Views out over the harbour are gorgeous. Just a shame that the jazz act started much later than advertised, and weren't to our taste. But never mind, still a top recommendation!

08/09/2026: We went there for the view and lunch. Unfortunately, after 2:00 PM, there was only a choice of 2 dishes: something with salmon and something with pâté. So we opted for coffee and cake instead. That was very tasty, and the view was beautiful too.

07/09/2026: We arrived without a reservation. The owner gave us a cold welcome and barely cracked a smile despite the crowd. It was the only place open today, but you really have to be motivated to work. Poor France! On the other hand, the food was lovely, fresh, and the waitress was smiling and friendly.

21/09/2026: We hired the Vincendon team for the pre-wedding dinner in Satillieu. For about forty people, we opted for a takeaway menu with savory and sweet canapés. The meal was simple, delicious, and very generous; our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Communication with the team was also very smooth and friendly. We highly recommend the Vincendon team for your catering needs in the area.

08/09/2026: We had the pleasure of using this caterer for my niece's wedding this past weekend. From the appetizers to the wedding cake, everything was excellent. The same goes for Sunday brunch. A big thank you to the waitresses for their helpfulness, friendliness, and ever-present smiles. So enjoyable. Special mention to Isabelle for single-handedly managing Sunday brunch with such kindness and efficiency.

Impeccable service. The place is welcoming and peaceful, with tasteful decor. The prices are very reasonable and justified by the excellence of the food. Thank you for this warm and welcoming "family" evening spent with you both. We will gladly return.

13/09/2026: A delicious bisque made with garden tomatoes and fish, followed by a perfectly cooked fish fillet and seasonal vegetables. All accompanied by an excellent 2024 Muscadet Oysterman, crisp and a perfect match for the meal. A true delight!

20/09/2026: We chose La Boule d'Or for our wedding at the end of August 2026. We were very satisfied with their service. The team was very attentive and available, and we only received positive feedback from our guests.

13/09/2026: We contacted La Boule d'Or on the recommendation of our venue and we weren't disappointed. We had excellent communication with Aurore, from scheduling the tasting sampler right through to the day after the wedding. All our guests appreciated the quality of the food.

29/08/2026: I often go there for a drink after work. The atmosphere is great and the bartender is exceptional! Now they have delicious platters and tapas on the menu to go with your aperitif! Top-notch

28/08/2026: Passing through the area, I found the place easy to access and parking readily available. It's pleasant and very well decorated, plus the owner and his employee are incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, I didn't eat there, but the menu looked tempting.

08/10/2026: We popped in for lunch on Thursday, 8 October, 2026 because we needed lunch and a very light rain was starting. Boy, were we in the right place! We sat in the cozy, comfortable, and attractive glassed-in "terrace". We both ordered the daily lunch special: a salad with salmon, house-made foccacia, whipped goat cheese, and arugula; roast chicken with sautéed shivered vegetables; and chocolate mousse. I had to restraints myself repeating the same word over and over while typing that menu summary; the word is "DELICIOUS". Perfectly prepared would be another worthy phrase. The service was classic low-key, low-pressure French. We were delighted to dine slowly over an hour and a hslf (or more), until the dun came out. The total cost with one glass of red wine and a liter of San Pelligrino was 70.90 EUR. We will definitely go back. Maybe to try dinner.

04/09/2026: Very French interior and typical French dishes on the menu, so far so good. But then: not a single bottle of wine under €40!! And a 0.5L carafe of house wine is €21. And then the service. They are friendly, but after the last bite, *poof* the plate is taken away. We felt like we were sitting in a cafeteria. In short, not recommended, a shame.

28/09/2026: Nutella and white chocolate crepes were excellent, nothing to complain about. Fast service. The welcome was fantastic, the waitresses/waitresses were very kind. I will definitely come back.
