I already came in the summer of 2025, and I went back yesterday.
Still as good as ever, what a treat!
And the setting is magnificent.
16/09/2026: Good restaurant, nice menu and great service, however my friends and I were disappointed with the meat because the cooking times were not respected and we all had overcooked flank steaks/sirloin steaks.

04/09/2026: If you love chocolates and sweets you must try this place. They have a good selection of chocolates along with their traditional bergamot candies.
Since I hadn't tried bergamot candies before, the sales lady offered me a sample. It wasn't my flavor of choice.
01/09/2026: I was given a box of chocolates from your shop.
The chocolates are covered with a white film, a sign that they're not very fresh.
I won't tell the person who gave them to me because she was too proud to tell me they were from the Maison des Sœurs Macarons... Anyway, I'll wait a while before telling her so she can go buy some from another shop.

15/10/2026: Always satisfied with the atmosphere and the quality of the food. Everything is very good. However, I do have one complaint, not about the table service, but about the waitress who took our payment. Her manner of speaking to us was very rude and condescending. It's the first time this has happened, but it was unpleasant enough to mention.
15/10/2026: The starters were average.
The tripe and trotters: the trotters were visibly overcooked and had disappeared into the pot, leaving them fibrous (I've cooked them before, so it was just okay). The beef stew was good, and the desserts were quite good.
Overall... I was a little disappointed... 🙄

24/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Chebaudière. The food was delicious, a lovely blend of flavors, and the whole family enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food, and we appreciated the friendly service and warm welcome.
14/08/2026: The welcome was polite but impersonal.
My main course wasn't cooked and, after being sent back to the kitchen, was barely warm.
The portions were tiny. My teenager left hungry and needed a pasta dish to take home.
We hadn't even finished our aperitifs when the starters were served.... It's a shame, it was a place I remembered fondly...
I might give it another try, we'll see.
Perhaps it was the heatwave...

I loved the atmosphere.
The service was incredibly fast.
The dishes were excellent (special mention for the ceviche).

And every time, it's the same: impossible to choose between the coconut macaroons and the Montpellier brioches… clearly, everything is just too good!
In short, this place is a real gem, and a sure bet every time!

02/04/2026: Looking for a 4-day solo getaway without a car at the end of March, I found the perfect hotel:
- very well located: all shops, cinema, and bus station are less than a 5-minute walk away; hiking trails start from a 10-minute walk.
- half-board or full-board options available (perfect after hiking);
- simple hotel and rooms (hence the attractive price) but it has everything you need;
- the best part: attentive owners and a friendly, family atmosphere

Perfect location, lovely room with a balcony, and excellent communication. They even accepted us even though I had made a mistake with the dates on the reservation.
