05/03/2026: We were just passing through and received a very warm welcome. The crepes with our meal were excellent, the dessert crepes were very good. We will be back.

23/02/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The servers' suggestions for both food and wine were spot-on and never pushy. The food was excellent, the wine list was extensive and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and unobtrusive. I highly recommend this place.

07/03/2026: Playing golf means respecting the rules of the course, whether in a group or alone. The Isle Adam golf course is vast, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need to enjoy yourself. And if a ray of sunshine enhances the experience, it encourages you to extend your time on the green with a few observation breaks. On this occasion, while I spotted a pair of Canada geese frolicking near the pond, a rather rare coypu emerged from the stream that runs through the course to enjoy the softness of the beautifully green grass.

The welcome was very warm and professional, the service provided by the same person was excellent, and the food was very delicate and delicious, all at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend it and will be back very soon.

15/02/2026: Bistro Valentine's Day dinner was excellent (refined and delicious). The rose 🌹 at the end of the meal was a very nice touch. However, the service was abysmal. (Honestly, you're going to lose customers despite your excellent food.) Overall, a good time despite a deplorable waitress.

10/01/2026: A delightful discovery! The crêpes were all equally delicious, made with wheat or buckwheat flour – a difficult choice, but they were consistently excellent. There was also a selection of ciders, and to our great satisfaction, the service was very friendly. So, during our stay over the Christmas holidays, we couldn't resist going back. We'll definitely be back as soon as we return to Quimper...

02/03/2026: We often visit le black dog when we come to France, we love the hospitality of all staff and the food is always remarkable, on this visit we had a 30th birthday celebration and Lisa and John went above and beyond to cater for this and make our evening fun and enjoyable, the new menu was great and all food was delicious. 06/11/2025: I can throughly recommend Le Black Dog with its friendly cosy atmosphere and service, we felt really looked after. We had some delicious food and I can honestly say that I had the best tastiest burger that I’ve ever eaten in Brittany so far. You will enjoy your visit here…..

23/10/2025: Excellent stay at the Logis Hôtel du Herrenstein! Very comfortable and spotless room, delicious dinner and a top-notch breakfast with fresh fruit salad and a lovely sweet and savory selection. Very friendly and professional staff, and super convenient parking. I highly recommend it!

20/10/2025: We spent a weekend night there. The welcome was very warm. Our room was clean and relatively large, although perhaps a little dated, but it fit in with the setting. The view from the room is simple but pleasant; I think at this time of year we were almost the only guests. I particularly recommend the restaurant, which is very beautiful and where we ate very well for a reasonable price.
