22/02/2026: We booked a table for 16 and found a charming place, decorated in country colors, where we felt right at home. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The dishes were beautifully presented and, above all, the food was delicious. From the children's menu to the frog leg menu, and even the chef's special: a delight! 😋 We highly recommend stepping into this restaurant for a pleasant experience. 👌✨

16/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! A warm welcome, friendly staff, and delicious food at a great price. Nothing but positive things to say... The ingredients are local, and the option to order wine by the glass allows you to pair it perfectly with each dish. Highly recommended.

23/10/2025: A quality stopover on the road! A warm and friendly welcome, a delicious meal showcasing local products in a tastefully decorated setting, and a peaceful night. We'll have to come back once the rooms are fully renovated to take the time to explore the surrounding area.

10/04/2026: The service has been shocking this season, they really need more staff. We asked for wine 5 times and when it came it was without glasses and we had almost finished our main course. The rump steak was so chewy it had to be sent back. The next one was excellent but everyone else had finished eating! The chips that should have been with our ribs came half way through the course. This has been our favourite restaurant for 18 years. Sadly not this year!

28/04/2026: We came as a family with children. The restaurant is well located, not far from the main square. The carbonnade was good but could have been a bit more substantial considering the price. It's a shame there's no children's menu with a drink and dessert (only a small dish for €10, with drinks and dessert extra). Another drawback was the toilets, which are inconvenient, requiring you to walk past urinals, and weren't very clean when we were there. As for the service, it was quite good.

12/12/2025: A truly wonderful discovery. A lovely restaurant on the banks of the Loire (it must be fantastic in the summer). We opted for the set menu of starter/main course/dessert (we have a sweet tooth!). We were treated to a delicious amuse-bouche, a gougère with black garlic. For the starter: delicious accras and a lovely terrine with pickles. For the main course: a divine, melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek with tender winter vegetables. For dessert: a sort of French toast with poached pears, a small madeleine biscuit with vanilla cream, and pear ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were just stopping over, but we will definitely be back… Thank you for this delightful experience and thank you to the pleasant waitress and the staff.

06/12/2025: A magnificent establishment. A small menu, but more than enough, given the quality of the ingredients and the truly delicious and high-quality dishes. The presentation is tasteful and meticulous. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the view of the Louet River, but we were treated to a culinary journey. Congratulations to the chef.
