12/09/2026: For our second visit, nothing to complain about. The meal was just as excellent, homemade, and the host was very pleasant, explaining the ingredients of each dish. I highly recommend it; we had the €32 set menu (starter, main course, cheese, and dessert). We'll definitely be back; I give it a solid 10/10.

10/10/2026: A bar in the southwest for rugby fanatics… but not for foodies. The service is… it's hard to find anything positive. I hope you don't like eye contact because you won't receive a single glance. We ordered two platters, and I didn't think I'd have to spend a month's salary for three slivers of pig fat and two pieces of laser-cut cheese… €12 for a cheese platter, four slices… I'll let you do the math. We're a far cry from the generosity of the southwest.

29/08/2026: A return to Courtepaille is always a pleasure, with its central fireplace and very decent food. The price-quality ratio wasn't too bad. A fifth star for our waitress this lunchtime.

08/06/2026: Everything was perfect, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We tried almost everything on the menu, and it was all excellent. The only minor point for improvement concerns the sauces: we ordered the foie gras and pepper sauces, and it would have been helpful to have a small label or marker to distinguish them. We often mixed them up and used them by mistake. Aside from that, the experience was excellent.

16/06/2026: A wonderful discovery just a 25-minute drive away, thanks to a gift certificate, that we found this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The Alba Petra menu is original, provided you take the time to explore each dish. Local, homemade cuisine, delicate flavors. Thank you to the chef, his team, and everyone involved. We certainly hope to return.

29/05/2026: The restaurant: The food was sophisticated and refined, a feast for the eyes and the palate. The service was impeccable, and the tableware was beautiful. The courtyard, surrounded by its giant wisteria, was very pleasant and cool during the heatwave. All of this made this reasonably priced gourmet dinner a near-perfect experience.

02/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! The service is truly delightful. You can feel the great rapport within the team, who are also very responsive and attentive. The decor is also fantastic. It's a place I highly recommend for brunch or lunch, with a very pleasant atmosphere. I absolutely loved the Tataki Sando, which was simply exceptional! The combination of the filling and the sauce was perfectly balanced; every bite was a true pleasure. The fresh juices are also very good and add a refreshing touch to the meal. A nice bonus: they also offer beautiful merchandise that perfectly matches their style and aesthetic. It's really cool to be able to leave with a little souvenir! A very good experience; I will gladly return. 🫶🏽

10/09/2026: Family-run restaurant, everyone really takes great care of their guests. I regularly go there for lunch (closed in the evening) and I'm never disappointed.

23/08/2026: The Savoy-style restaurant offers traditional French dishes. We enjoyed an excellent tartiflette accompanied by a salad. Lunch options include an appetizer and a main course, or a main course and dessert, all at a reasonable price.

16/05/2026: Great welcome, the hotel is magnificent, the setting is really soothing, the rooms are spacious and quiet, and the bar makes great cocktails. I recommend the Beauval gardens, we are a 5 minute walk from the zoo so no need to take the car.

16/05/2026: Excellent stay at the Hotel Les Jardins de Beauval! The hotel is ideally located, just 5 minutes from the Beauval Zoo/Safari Park, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are very clean, quiet, and perfectly soundproofed, allowing you to truly relax after a day of sightseeing. The dinner and breakfast buffets are very varied and of excellent quality. There really is something for everyone, both adults and children. A special mention goes to Kevin at reception, who was exceptional throughout our stay: very attentive, kind, and professional. With two young children, we felt welcomed with kindness and without any judgment, unlike some experiences we sometimes have in other hotels. We recommend this hotel without hesitation and will gladly return to enjoy the pool!
