30/05/2026: This is a great pub, a little piece of England with some great beers, and food cooked by Landlord/owner John. We are travelling in our Motorhome and John kindly allowed us to stay the night on the large carpark belonging to the pub, if you buy food and beer, no fee for the stopover. Naomi was running the bar, so friendly and speaks perfect English too. The steak burger was delicious and the salmon dish light and healthy. The beers, (real ale on draught) were superb. We ran a tab and paid for everything at the end of the evening. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in this area. Thank you.

23/08/2026: A very good and generous set menu with everything included, at a ridiculously low price. The service is quick, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for letting my spaniel in and offering him a drink. How kind! Reservations are highly recommended.

18/08/2026: If you're passing through, don't hesitate! This restaurant is very well run, the service is impeccable, and the regional cuisine is excellent, prepared by a chef who clearly cares about pleasing his customers. Unbeatable value for money! Our dog approves of this place.

Lovingly run by Jeannette and her sister for over 40 years, this restaurant perfectly embodies the spirit of the South. From the decor to the food, including the warm service and very reasonable prices, everything is simple, authentic, and generous. You won't find such a genuine atmosphere anywhere else.

22/06/2026: Like before, the restaurant was in its prime, but the family meal was of good quality and very pleasant, a simple moment of relaxation with good little dishes.

30/07/2026: We spent two nights at Eric and Laeticia's and loved their warm welcome, generous cuisine, and the peaceful setting. A short but memorable visit; we'll be back as soon as possible :)

20/05/2026: We were a group of motorcyclists who received a very warm welcome. Laetitia and Eric shared their passion for truffles with us. During our stay, we were able to sample various specialties and a delightful array of desserts, lovingly and passionately prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, ensuring restful nights in the peaceful Périgord countryside. The presentation and tour of the truffle orchard were very informative and answered all our questions. A truly immersive stay at a very welcoming, informative, and delicious guesthouse. 03/10/2026: I never come here anymore, I'm more of a Marigny kind of person, and the way I was treated confirmed why I don't come here. Personally, I don't recommend it and I'll never come back. P.S. If you serve beer to customers, it's not just for profit; you also have to accept that people need to relax after a week of work. A word to the wise. In any case, this was my second time here and my last.

21/08/2026: I doubted an app could choose a restaurant, but it was this one that pointed me to this place that counts calories using a photo. The steak tartare was high in protein, delicious, and didn't taste diet-y at all. The service was quick and efficient.

26/07/2026: A proper old school Lyonaisse Bouchon. No outside seating, not a tourist trap, the menu says if you’re in a hurry you’re in the wrong place. Family place with old photos on the wall - a small menu of classic local dishes - some strong dishes of tripe and pigs feet for the brave. Loved it here.

10/09/2026: Passing through Avignon, and on a street known as one of the oldest (and most beautiful) in the City of Popes, we had the pleasure of having lunch there. We preferred the interior to the terrace, which was quite lovely, but the Mistral wind is also part of the scenery 🤣. The grilled salmon was perfect 👌. Thank you for your hospitality 👍.

26/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery L’Offset restaurant is! The setting is superb and truly evokes the New York atmosphere; you immediately feel at home. The service is impeccable, with a very friendly and attentive waiter. As for the food, it's a real gem: the dishes are excellent and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend it!

01/06/2026: This was my second time at Café Championnet, and certainly not my last. It's a small, very cozy restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking a peaceful garden. The staff is largely made up of people with disabilities who are dedicated to serving and cooking. The menu changes daily and is 100% fresh and homemade. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. We've always received a warm welcome and excellent service, and we've enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food itself. Today we were even treated to a homemade iced tea. And as a bonus: the dishes are made in the Ménilmontant workshop (some items are even for sale). In short, I highly recommend it! ☺️ Thank you for your hospitality!
