28/04/2026: Lunch cruise with the "Etoile" package for my partner's birthday. Weekday lunch. Car parked in the Cathédrale parking lot, about a 10-minute walk to the dock. Friendly, smiling, and helpful staff. Very good meal: refined, high-quality, and generous portions. Good management of service and the wait between courses. Option to go outside to smoke or admire the scenery. A pleasant experience, worth doing once. On the downside, the atmosphere was noisy due to a large group; it felt a bit like a "brasserie" when crowded, which detracted from the romance. We sometimes had trouble hearing some of the announcements over the PA system. The noise/vibration from the boat's engine was acceptable. Clean restrooms. The decor was a bit dated. In conclusion, a lovely time for two.

21/05/2026: Beautiful setting, lovely shaded terrace, and excellent food. My parents and I come regularly and we're never disappointed. The quality of the dishes is excellent, with refined cuisine and impeccable service from attentive waitresses. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

18/05/2026: Superb from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with wonderfully balanced flavours throughout. Unfortunately we had to cut our evening short after the main course, but the team were incredibly kind and even sent us back our baby’s hat that we accidentally left behind. Such thoughtful service, and we really hope to return again in the future.

07/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant during our tour of Alsace. The staff were friendly, some of them even speaking German. The atmosphere was lovely. The food—we had tarte flambée and Caesar salad—was absolutely delicious! The price-performance ratio was also good. We'd gladly return and highly recommend it.

19/05/2026: The room where we spent the night was in the turret, very spacious with a lovely modern bathroom and a more traditional sleeping area. The view was beautiful. The only downside: very unpleasant noises from the plumbing/air conditioning all night long. We discussed it in the morning with a member of staff who seemed aware of the problem, but there didn't seem to be a solution. I recommend bringing earplugs. We also had dinner at the restaurant. It was quite good, the tables were well-spaced, which was nice, and the service was attentive. However, the decor is rather basic and lacks warmth; a touch of freshness and modernity would make a big difference. Overall, the location is good for exploring the region.

02/03/2026: We took a short stroll around the resort and relied on online reviews. It was winter, so there were no outdoor amenities, but even so, for a late February day, we were able to eat on the terrace, which was very pleasant. We always make a point of booking by phone or in person. This allows us to choose our table, avoid arriving last, and get the best spot—something you can't find anywhere else. The manager had reserved a table for us in the sun with the headrest in the shade. It was a very thoughtful touch. The selection wasn't huge, but it's much better than having 20 options where absolutely everything is frozen. The two people running the place are very friendly but don't let themselves be taken advantage of, which I think is perfectly legitimate. Paying doesn't give you free rein. In small resorts or villages, whether touristy or not, without this kind of business, it's the death of the village. It is certainly not in this type of establishment that one can make a fortune, but they are the ones that keep a locality alive.

15/06/2026: Good but not excellent dinner for the price. Wine selection is excellent. The stuff is happy to recommend something but the service is a bit slow. Red wine temperature was a bit too hot for my taste.

We enjoyed a truly exquisite menu, with delicious dishes and interesting flavor combinations. The wines were perfectly paired. It wasn't cheap, of course, but absolutely worth the price. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Attentive and friendly staff! Highly recommended if you're in Orleans!
