21/09/2026: I went to the beach on its closing day, Sunday, September 20th. What a disappointment! The back of the beach was already dismantled, giving the impression of a major construction site. We were informed that there was no water that day, so no toilets, no showers, no coffee... But the worst part was the immediate dismantling of the beach area as soon as someone left, right in the middle of the afternoon. Sun loungers, parasols, maps, tables—everything disappeared as a 4x4 drove back and forth across the beach right in front of us, leaving us stunned and with a deafening racket. No compensation was offered for the missing services or the inconvenience. The service was minimal, and the salad had more leaves than substance. You won't see me there next year ☹️

07/06/2026: The salmon tartare, beef tartare, and Welsh rarebit were very good, but the service was a bit slow... a shame.

06/06/2026: Dining at this restaurant provided us with a bizarre experience. The starters were tasty, but the mussels were very small and quite tasteless. We initially thought the owner was very attentive; he pulled up a small table so we could enjoy the view of the church together during our meal. He did keep pointing out the view to us several times afterwards, and at one point, uninvited, he came and sat at our table with us, even though there were no other guests left in the establishment. His attentiveness turned into intrusiveness. He kept coming to sit at our table. We had the strong impression that he had had too much to drink. Then he even started asking my wife impertinent questions. I then asked him to leave our table and give me the bill. He suddenly became very angry and ordered us to leave the premises. New guests had just arrived, and he was briefly focusing his attention on them. I walked to the bar and asked for the bill again. He suddenly approached me very threateningly and pushed me very hard towards the door. He even continued pushing me outside on the street and grabbed me in a chokehold right in the middle of the street; he is a big man, and I am over 70. My wife shouted very loudly to bystanders to call the police. Then he let go and went back inside his establishment. We were quite shaken, but decided to leave it at that. We didn't pay either, not because we didn't want to, but because he apparently didn't want to. I don't think everyone will receive such treatment, but I really cannot recommend this restaurant.

20/05/2026: Lunch for two with a 3-course menu at 35 Euros... The three courses were very average, nothing like the food of years past... Very disappointed...

30/06/2026: Had a wonderful breakfast at Aux Ducs de Bourgogne during our time filming in Paris near the church. The traditional Breton galette with egg, ham, and melted cheese was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the butter and sugar crêpe was simple, authentic, and absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was warm and charming, with the feeling of a classic Parisian neighborhood crêperie rather than a tourist spot. The service was friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect place to begin our day before filming. If you’re looking for authentic French crêpes in the 7th arrondissement, this is a lovely choice.

05/10/2026: I was with my friend yesterday. The mussels and white wine were excellent, but the Catalan cream was cold and store-bought—not good at all. What a shame! Especially since the waitress assured me it was homemade. I have serious doubts because the ramekin was frozen and the cream was cold. The view was fantastic despite the rainy weather; we had a lovely time.

31/07/2026: What can I say… except that you feel right at home, always warmly welcomed, no fuss, just a pleasant moment, a dynamic duo who deserve much more recognition! They're rarely, if ever, late and always have a kind word to make you smile! It might appeal to some, perhaps not the Parisian hipsters, but for us in the countryside, it warms our hearts.

28/03/2026: Superb experience. Better than some 3-star hotels. Roller shutters ensure a completely dark room. Separate toilet and bathroom. A door separates the entrance to the room/bathroom/toilet from the bedroom area. A spacious room. A balcony with two chairs. The ski lockers are excellent. The room is heated, so you don't have to put your feet in freezing boots. Breakfast features many locally sourced or homemade products, all organic and delicious. The selection changes daily. There's no kettle or coffee machine in the room, but you can use the breakfast room all day for tea, coffee, water, and any leftover cakes and pastries. The staff is fantastic, welcoming, and helpful. If they're available, they can sometimes make arrangements for the ski locker or garage. We slept very well; the bedding and pillows were excellent. The hotel is in the same area as Jandri. You just have to cross the street and the square to get to the main lift. However, I don't think there's an elevator. We were on the ground floor, so I might not have noticed. It might not be the most accessible hotel for people with disabilities; it's best to check beforehand. And the orange juice... I'm not sure it was freshly squeezed, but hey, when that's all you have to complain about 😂

Being vegan, she offered me a varied and balanced menu and even introduced me to lentil cream for a raspberry dessert! Thank you so much 🌸

The setting is particularly pleasant, warm, and elegant, ideal for a meal with family or friends. The cuisine is creative, with subtle flavors and truly refined presentation. Each dish was a genuine invitation to a culinary journey. The service was equally impressive: attentive, discreet, and professional. We felt pampered throughout the meal. A big thank you to the entire team for this delightful experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

13/06/2026: Absolutely flawless! My husband and I rarely eat out because, being both such food lovers, we're always on a diet. But on a beautiful Saturday at lunchtime, this little restaurant in the center of Cluses was calling our name. Honestly, we weren't expecting anything special. And we were wrong. A restaurant is also judged by the little things: good bread, homemade fries, crudités with quality vegetables, for example, and perfectly cooked food. These little touches are actually essential. We were delighted: the salad with burrata was delicious, with plump, flavorful tomatoes, a wonderfully creamy burrata, pine nuts, and various onions. The homemade lasagna was exceptional: the meat filling was incredibly tender yet flavorful, the lasagna sheets were perfectly cooked, and the layer of light, airy cheese béchamel was simply perfect. I swiped some of my husband's fries, which were clearly homemade, and they were just right: cooked perfectly without being overcooked, with a good potato flavor, not a fried taste. For dessert, I had a panna cotta, which is often disappointing in restaurants, but this one, which I ordered plain even though there was a choice between red berries and salted caramel, was perfect—that is to say, it held its shape well, without being sticky or too dense as is so often the case. The staff was attentive, which is always a pleasure, even though it was busy. And we give a special mention to the young waitress, a brunette with shoulder-length hair, who was simply perfect: smiling, friendly without being overly familiar, and well-mannered without being stuffy. This young woman was a real asset to the restaurant! In short, due to our diet, we won't be able to go often, but we will certainly return, and with great pleasure, because the menu is very tempting!

10/06/2026: I could grumble about having to wait a bit too long on the terrace between drinks and dinner before going inside because of the chilly temperatures... But I don't want to, because the Reblochon galette warmed me up perfectly. It was generously filled and delicious, as was the Tatin crêpe for dessert. Don't expect burgers (as mentioned in previous reviews) because the menu has changed.
