31/05/2026: Very popular cafe that we visited on a Sunday lunchtime. It was very busy although we didn't have to wait too long for our order to be taken. We ordered two simple crepes and they were very tasty Staff friendly and speak some English

26/02/2026: A dining room with seating for about thirty. Always satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food. Coraline, the smiling and professional waitress, has been there for several years and works perfectly with the chef. And it shows in the dining room! Always served on a hot plate, a detail that is much appreciated. Excellent value for money, so don't hesitate (by booking in advance...). A few photos: An exceptional meal for Valentine's Day 2022: Chicken ravioli with morel sauce, Rossini beef fillet (extra) with almond potatoes, chocolate and caramel dessert, all accompanied by a superb Lerouge champagne. The result: an exceptional memory. Alternatively, a "normal meal": Landes salad with foie gras, crispy Camembert with honey and walnuts, cod in an almond crust with citrus sauce, a beautiful ribeye steak with Périgord sauce and three vegetables, and to finish, a very good gourmet coffee or a homemade mille-feuille.

16/05/2026: Everything is perfect. The rooms. The spa. The reception. The breakfast. The location. We spent a timeless moment in a bubble of comfort and well-being, hidden in a verdant setting.

14/05/2026: Never use The Originals Hotels' online booking system. Upon arrival, the reception staff informed us that there were two reservations under the same name for the same dates and room type. We did not make a second reservation and never received any email, text message, or notification from the hotel or The Originals Hotels platform regarding this alleged double booking. The concrete consequences of this error: our neighbor, who wanted to join us, was refused a room due to lack of availability, even though the system had registered a phantom reservation. Despite the obvious malfunction of the booking system (and not any error on our part), the hotel forced us to pay for the second reservation, which resulted solely from a technical failure of the platform and not from a double booking.

29/03/2026: Superb restaurant. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and superb food… I highly recommend it. After our first visit, we went back the next day! All the dishes were excellent and generous… 👍🏼😉

26/05/2026: A beautiful shaded terrace in the prettiest village in the area. Fabulous food (especially seafood) and friendly attentive service. Thank you! From my ten year old daughter- The starters were very yummy and the same with the main course, I would highly recommend coming here. I can’t help but think how incredibly hard it must be to run a business like this. The staff were also incredibly kind and I hope to come back soon.

30/06/2026: For many years, this has been one of the best restaurants in Wissembourg, far superior to the surrounding tourist traps. The consistently high quality of the dishes is perfectly prepared. Attentive service completes the experience. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality offered. Unbeatable: the lunch menu for €25 on weekdays.

09/06/2026: Excellent service, very good quality and quantity of food, fair prices! Dogs allowed. The ambiance is lovely – on a bridge over the Lauter river, very romantic!

22/05/2026: You know, I expected a local bodega with fried food and lukewarm service. What we got is comparable to restaurant experiences we have had in Paris. A welcoming and friendly hostess and an enthusiastic and bubbly waitress. And the food…! We were there for lunch, and our group ordered a wide selection from the menu, and the quality was very high. There is love for the ingredients behind each and every dish, and the chefs in the kitchen really know their stuff. The meal is accompanied by a beautiful view that is occasionally covered by fleeting fog, but that only increases the magic of this beautiful place, which by the way consists of three parts. A local pub, a rustic brasserie and a fine dining with white tablecloths and a view. All three departments seem done with the same naturalness and thoughtfulness. A real gem. If you are in the area, stop by! We will be back for dinner!

21/05/2026: I have never experienced such discomfort at a restaurant as I did here. We and our dog were ushered into an ugly area, right in front of the restrooms and near the exit. The other part of the restaurant was reserved for guests without dogs, well-maintained with white tablecloths and a sea view. Not so for the dog owners – a real two-tier system (see photos), even though the prices for the food were the same. I will never visit this restaurant again. It was simply stressful for the dogs.

09/07/2026: The food isn't good. I first went to Paris three years ago, and I wanted to give the one in Lyon a chance, but they didn't live up to that expectation.

08/07/2026: Steak salad for almost €19… there was practically nothing in it, the little bit of meat was tough… avoid it! It's shameful to offer salads at this price!

30/06/2026: We had booked a table for a football match. We had repeatedly specified a nice spot in front of the TVs. When we arrived, the waiter was arguing with another customer. Immediately afterward, without even looking at us, he directed us to a table far from the main gathering, with an aggressive air. We explained that we had booked several days in advance, specifically requesting a nice spot. The waiter got angry and told us, "You're not going to give me any more grief!"... Avoid this place.

30/06/2026: Great atmosphere, friendly waiter. Quick and generous portions, excellent value for money, I recommend it for young and old alike!
