13/03/2026: Review concerning the restaurant only: Before discussing the food, I want to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the waitresses! As for the dishes, they are very well prepared, generous portions, and absolutely delicious. A real treat! We will gladly return!

26/03/2026: Upon arrival, the waiter seated us and offered us the daily specials boards. As a result, I couldn't even see the table because there were so many boards on it. I ordered a beer from L'Abbaye d'Autrey, he brought it to me and left. It arrived open, and just before serving it, I realized it was no good. I informed his colleague, who brought me the correct beer. The meal continued, and I went to pay. The bill was around sixty euros. I took the receipt and looked at it later. I noticed that the beer had been charged at €8. I wondered about the price of this supposedly locally sourced beer. My reasoning: since they opened a beer by mistake, they charged me immediately to avoid losing their profit margin. Or perhaps they were trying to pull a fast one on me. Buying their beer for €2 (excluding tax) and reselling it for €8 seems a bit pricey. If I ever go back, I'll ask them what price they charge for water.

04/05/2026: Wonderful hotel that I highly recommend!! Superb welcome, very comfortable beds, clean, well located near the city center. Private spa for €25 for 45 minutes which is simply superb. Breakfast with local products for €21. The staff is very welcoming.

10/04/2026: A lovely discovery while strolling through Issoire! Drawn in by the chalkboard menu displayed in the street, we were tempted by the three dishes on offer, prepared and served by the chef right there in the dining room. :) We enjoyed an asparagus risotto with a soft-boiled egg and shiitake mushrooms (for me) and a coq au vin for my partner. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying... the chef was kind and smiling. Well done, don't change a thing! If we're ever back in Issoire, we'll definitely return.

22/02/2026: Always an excellent choice. Generous and flavorful cuisine. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, everything is homemade. The open kitchen allows you to watch the dishes being prepared. A welcoming dining room and a deli/grocery section. Good wine selection. A few tables outside.

04/04/2026: Fantastic experience at Chalet à Fame! Honestly, the burgers are incredibly good, generously topped, and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. And on top of that, the owner is absolutely lovely, very welcoming, and always smiling—it's such a pleasure! I recommend it 100%, I'll definitely be back! 👍

12/05/2026: We've been several times. Friendly welcome. Quick service. The truffade is always delicious and plentiful. The presentation of the Italian ice cream was average. A few minor issues this time. Perhaps it would be sufficient to clean the tables (during service) with a damp sponge, without any cleaning product; it's very unpleasant to have the smell (or even the spray) of cleaning product while eating. Regarding the menu, I asked what the cheese in the "Yssoirian box" was: - "It's an Yssoirian box." - "Is that the name of the cheese?" - "Yes." - "Oh, the cheese is called an Yssoirian box?" - "Yes." - "I don't know it, what kind of cheese is it?" "It's a cheese that doesn't have much flavor, that's why we add onion, etc..." Anyway, I ordered a truffade... It's a shame our waitress (from whom we'd already had to ask for a carafe of water several times, the same one who sprayed cleaning product on the table next to ours) was unable to provide simple information, especially in a restaurant that uses cheese in several of its dishes. So, for Océane's benefit, the cheese is called Yssoirien (and the dish is called Boîte Yssoirienne), it's a raw cow's milk cheese. You're welcome...

02/05/2026: Good evening, we ate quite well! We originally booked a table at La Bergerie, but when we arrived, it was closed! They sent us to Le Chalet, telling us it was the same place, same chef, same team. Sorry, the setting isn't the same, the menu isn't the same! It was light! From a marketing standpoint, it's questionable! Anyway, the red wine from the volcanoes wasn't bad...

It’s the perfect blend of cozy wine bar and refined dining spot. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about both the food and the wine. The staff gave excellent recommendations and made the whole evening feel relaxed and personal. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with classic French influences and high-quality ingredients shining through in every bite. Paired with an impressive and well-curated wine selection, each dish felt elevated yet approachable. What really stood out was the ambiance and authenticity—it feels like a hidden gem where locals gather to enjoy great food and wine without any pretension. I would highly recommend Le Gavroche Bar à Vins to anyone looking for a memorable and genuinely Parisian dining experience.

17/03/2026: The welcome was rather cold, even though we were the first to be served. They made a mistake with the dish (which is quite something considering they only had one table to serve), clearly showing a lack of enthusiasm. There was no choice of wine by the glass; they immediately recommended the already opened bottle. The portions (main course and dessert) were small, and the prices were outrageous (€20 for the main course, €9 for dessert, €7 for a glass of wine). Finally, they cut us three slices of bread and never offered us a second helping. Avoid this place!

14/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, one of the best Vosges salads I've ever had. The desserts were a delight. A must-try!

05/05/2026: Bravo and thank you for your welcome to a group of 20 people, varied and excellent dishes, and to top it all off, the children were able to enjoy the play area.
