07/01/2025: Disappointed with the last visit, the fish & chips, the fish was very good, and the fries were quite average. On the other hand, serving sachet mayonnaise as a sauce is very limited, we weren't at McDonald's!!! Amazing not to be able to make homemade mayonnaise or aioli. Next time we'll see...

24/12/2025: What a welcome! We were very warmly welcomed by the owner. A group of about ten of us stayed for a short family holiday. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was spotless. We will gladly return. If everyone were as welcoming as you, life would be so much more pleasant. Well done!

09/11/2025: We stayed just one night in this charming little hotel in Jougne. I could have given it 5 stars just for the absolutely delightful welcome, but that was without taking into account the absolutely perfect breakfast we were treated to. I wasn't expecting a breakfast of this quality; it was worthy of a 4-star hotel, both in terms of quality and quantity. You can feel the owner's generosity and desire to do things well. A big thank you for your warm welcome and kindness.

02/03/2026: A Sunday lunch with a reservation made an hour in advance for four people. Excellent traditional dishes and high-quality ingredients: the eggs meurette, the exceptional and enormous ribeye steak for meat lovers, the perfectly seasoned beef gazpacho, the perfectly dressed salads—we absolutely enjoyed ourselves in a traditional brasserie atmosphere with very good value for money. This is an address to remember and recommend when visiting Cluny. Thank you and well done to the team.

09/02/2026: Tourist trap. A polished facade, a reassuring name, high prices… but inside, a tired, dingy atmosphere and standard, wholesale-quality food, lacking freshness and any real homemade touch. And while "business" customers get a 20% discount (as stated on the menu), casual diners pay full price for a service that clearly isn't worth it. All show, no substance. Avoid it.

16/02/2026: Honestly... a truly wonderful place in Paris! The traditional cuisine is high-quality, delicious, and exquisitely refined. The service is impeccable and professional. The manager, who works lunchtimes (but not dinnertimes, unfortunately), just like the food, makes you want to come back. And I will return to Françoise's with great pleasure!

27/02/2026: This is a small restaurant I used to go to about ten years ago. I went back a few days ago. I found the food excellent and the presentation lovely. However, the COVID crisis has taken its toll: prices are much higher and the portions much smaller than before... which inevitably reduces the value for money. What a shame!

01/03/2026: Thank you for your warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, very good meal at very affordable prices, we went there twice during a three-day weekend and both times we felt like we were part of the village 🤗.

24/09/2025: Extremely unfriendly. Before even sitting down, we were shouted at by an employee for parking our race bikes next to the (closed) terrace. We left immediately, so I can’t judge the food.

01/04/2026: This place was pretty good, looks like a French ski chalet. The staff was mostly friendly, but our server was struggling as we are not native French speakers. She kept saying she didn’t speak English even though we were speaking French. Our French isn’t native, but pretty good, so not sure why she was all flustered, not body else was having issues. There was another guy there that noticed this and stepped in to help with no issues. The food was good, but make sure you love cheese! We all enjoyed it, but it was very heavy in the cheese category and you end up just full of cheese. The cheese was good and it all tasted good, it was just a lot of cheese! It was mostly people drinking while eating cheese, so okay for teenagers but maybe not the best place for younger children, and no children’s menu we could find. Overall a good place but know what you are getting yourself into.

01/04/2026: A friendly and efficient welcome. A wide selection of mountain specialties served in generous portions. The food is good, the place is welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it... remember to book. Returned in March 2026... It's nothing like what we experienced before... We left a review on TripAdvisor to describe our disappointing experience... enjoy reading it. It just goes to show that when it comes to restaurants, you shouldn't rely on past experiences or old impressions... you have to try again!!
