26/10/2024: Tres bonne brasserie avec menu qui change chaque jour, toujours du poisson au menu. A souligner : l originalité, la qualité, la présentation. Plat d agneau copieux, celui de Saint jacques pas trop.
Il faut savoir que le lieu est très bruyant, et qu'il est de coutume de mettre des aliments froids dans des assiettes chaudes (accompagnement des saint jacques, crémeux de maïs de l
'entrée) C est particulier mais on peut demander chauds.
Belles propositions de vin.
Photos de selle d agneau aux herbes, Saint jacques, crémeux de maïs et œuf parfait, crottin de Chavignol pané.
18/08/2024: The Verlaine, big brother of Rimbaud in Cormontaigne, also offers high quality cuisine, the staff is very pleasant and the dishes change every day. To try without hesitation even if you just have a beer.

Nourriture médiocre , entrecôte à 30€ immangeable dur comme du bois et une boule de nerf
Une viande décongelé vite et mal cuite indigne d’u. Commis de cuisine
Le pire c est la serveuse qui a vue que je n’ai pas pu manger la viande et me dit « vous n’aimez pas?ça se voit ,il y a beaucoup de nerf »
Le tout pour 30€ …..c’est franchement un scandal et on ne devrais pas laisser des gens se moquer des clients
Le moindre professionnel aurait fait des excuses et offert un dessert ou annuler le plat

07/07/2025: We really liked this hotel. We only stayed one night but would very much like to visit again. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The only downside was that our room was on the top floor and there were a lot of stairs to climb!

17/10/2024: We went here for lunch. Had high hopes for the Michelin rated restaurant. I was a little disappointed. Nothing really appealed to me and nothing jumped out as wow! There were also a few problems. The fish with the single mini clam, I almost had to spit out the clam because it was so fishy. The fish was ok…. The meat dish was strange, I don’t know which part of the cow this was from, but it had so much tendons and so much fat, didn’t get much out of it. Though the little I was able to carve out it did have a nice smoky flavor. We chose the four course prefix because our stomach hasn’t adjusted to the time zone and couldn’t eat that much which was technically our breakfast. There were some chips on the table. Unique. Liked them. The mushroom ravioli was ok. The first vegetable dish was meh. The dessert was ok. We were in a hurry by this time. If we had more time and our stomach was time adjusted, would have wanted to try the A5 wagyu for an extra $50. They gave different cutlery for each dish. Their service was up to Michelin standards. There is a single bathroom with a Japanese bidet. Would love to give this place another try next time we are in Paris.

Je souhaitait mettre un bémol sur leur réaction lors du concert de la rentrée quand j ai proteste après avoir attendu plus d 1/2 heure dans une soi disant queue qui n avançait pas et où on indiquait d aller. La serveuse a pris parti pour la personne qui s est bien positionnée pour nous passer devant ( à qui je me suis également adressé et qui m a répondu en m insultant) et de surcroît s est moqué de nous avec la complicité de ce type, Lorsque je leur ouvertement dit qu ils étaient mal organisé, ce qui était le cas, un autre des serveur (!peut t’être un chef) m a engueulé en me disant qu ils faisaient ce qu ils pouvaient. Quand a la serveuse sa seule réponse a été : « payer Madame » tout en souriant au type qui était ouvertement passé devant tout le monde ! Le jeune couple devant nous n a pas fait de vague, tout en n en passant pas moins mais ils ont dû également patiente un tres long moment avant de se faire servir. Quand au type sans scrupule il s est moqué de nous avec la complicité de la serveuse . Je trouve cela inadmissible de me faire ridiculiser de la sorte alors que j ai respecté la file comme la majorité des personnes éduquées correctement. Je n y remettrai plus jamais les pieds et je ne le conseille absolument pas. Je tiens à préciser que lorsque j ai protesté je n étais pas en état d ébriété mais que la réaction de la serveuse et du type sans gêne le suggérait alors sur c était juste une colère justifiée.

16/01/2025: What a disappointment this last Saturday. Supposedly an evening dedicated to Latin dance??? We were treated to 1/2 hour and then songs from Claude François and the 80s!!! It was pitiful.
Not to mention the lack of respect and especially some privileged people probably smoking in the room???? Yes yes. I mean smoking with impunity on their beautifully reserved tables!!!! What a shame. I didn't want to film to keep their anonymity anyway. Not to mention a young girl who hid behind the DJ and his smoke bombs to smoke?? Lol
I dared to believe that the new R7 had changed? But I'm so disappointed.
