03/03/2026: Excellent value for money at this hotel which has many rooms - very comfortable bedding, a generous breakfast with quality products, a spa with sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi with sunset views, and close to the ski resorts - 3 minutes from Thollon and 10 from Bernex. We'll be back!

12/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant in a small village not far from the beautiful towns of the Brionnais region (Semur, Anzy-le-Duc, Charlieu). The owner is attentive and efficient, and the food is excellent at a very reasonable price. Thank you!

03/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise during a stop on our loop from La Manère. The chapel is beautiful, with its unique (and rare in France) Camaril. The welcome was also fantastic; we had a delicious meal for a very reasonable price! If you wish, you can stay at the refuge and lend a hand to the warden who single-handedly maintains this lovely building. If you are in a large group, it's best to call ahead to reserve.

10/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top-notch. A special mention goes to the young trainee waiter who looked after our table; he's clearly on the right track. He noticed there was a birthday celebration at our table and took the initiative to serve the birthday person's dessert with a candle, demonstrating the care he takes with his guests. Congratulations!

30/07/2026: Good location, however the service was cold/distant. The red mullet was very good, but beware of the creamy sauce (not mentioned in the description) and the generous portion size. The rhubarb dessert was disappointing—very/too crunchy! The wine (by the glass) was average; after three attempts, we didn't dare ask for more. We won't be back.

18/06/2026: A very good experience at the K a Cuers bistro within the Kouros hotel. The €28 set menu was well-balanced with a variety of options. The service was very professional and friendly, provided by a very attentive young waiter. We will be back to try the summer menu.

A warm welcome 🥰 and truly excellent service (with extra care, given that my daughter-in-law is pregnant). We were given very attentive and knowledgeable information about the fresh products: fish, meat, and more… Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant, which is rare these days. Thank you again for your service! And what can I say about the food? The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, a real treat! 06/07/2026: Having discovered this place on M6, we had high expectations for our visit. Our first impression upon arrival was cold; the owners weren't welcoming, which dampened the overall atmosphere. Fortunately, the food was good and the rest of the team was friendly, but we felt sorry for them working in such unpleasant conditions. The terrace on the pedestrian street was lovely, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. It's a real shame that the owners don't reflect the quality of their establishment.

We had dinner there in the evening and then breakfast the next morning, and everything was truly excellent quality, with very reasonable prices! But what impressed us most was undoubtedly the exceptional welcome from the entire team. Every member of staff was attentive, smiling, kind, and always ready to make our stay enjoyable. It's genuinely heartwarming to see, especially in a time when such kindness is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. We have an 11-month-old baby, and there's even a high chair available. He was very comfortable in it, and the staff were so kind to our little one, which really touched us. Thank you! ✨ A special mention goes to Manon, who showed remarkable gentleness, patience, and kindness towards us. Their professionalism and kindness truly contributed to making our experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, we didn't encounter a single unpleasant person during our stay; quite the opposite, in fact. The entire team deserves to be commended for their warm welcome and excellent service.
