06/06/2026: Worst experience ever. We called to make a reservation. The woman who answered mentioned the earliest table wouldn't be until 9:15 p.m., which was fine for us — though she already sounded annoyed that we were coming so late. We felt that she was ready to go back home. (She should have told us over the phone that there was no more reservation for the night). When we arrived, she greeted us coldly, without a hint of a smile. After we ordered our two main dishes and said we'd only like tap water to drink, she made a completely uncalled-for remark. At that point we decided to leave without eating, and we won't be coming back. We went to L'Adresse instead, and — oh my god — they were so welcoming, even without a reservation and at such a late hour.

31/05/2026: Our recent stay at Hôtel À La Cour d’Alsace in Obernai was a very pleasant experience. We drove from Germany and found the hotel relatively easy to locate despite its position within the historic town center. The narrow one-way street leading to the property is clearly signposted, and guests can either drive directly into the hotel courtyard for check-in or use the conveniently located parking area just before the entrance. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The receptionist spoke both English and German fluently, making communication effortless, and personally guided us to the entrance of our building. This thoughtful touch immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The hotel itself is charmingly laid out, with rooms distributed across several interconnected buildings. We stayed in the newer section adjacent to the swimming pool, which proved to be an excellent choice. Given the unusually warm weather for late May, with temperatures reaching 31°C, the built-in air conditioning was greatly appreciated and ensured a comfortable stay throughout. Our Deluxe Room was spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. We particularly appreciated the separate shower and toilet areas, with the washbasin located in its own dedicated space. Practical amenities included a safe, an empty refrigerator, approximately ten clothes hangers, a hairdryer, a well-lit mirror, and a magnifying mirror. Bathrobes, towels, and slippers were also provided, making visits to the swimming pool convenient and enjoyable. There were a few minor drawbacks. No iron or ironing board was available in the room. Additionally, the lighting controls were somewhat unconventional, using touch-sensitive switches that occasionally behaved unpredictably. A few ceiling spotlights were not functioning; however, the room remained pleasantly illuminated thanks to the abundance of ambient lighting. One of the hotel’s standout features is its peaceful garden courtyard. Although the bar was not open during our stay, the reception staff were happy to serve drinks, which could be enjoyed outdoors amidst birdsong and tranquil surroundings. For a hotel located in the very center of town, this quiet retreat was exceptional. The main square of Obernai is only a two-minute walk away, making the location ideal for exploring the town on foot. Breakfast was satisfactory but not particularly memorable. The hot selection was limited to scrambled eggs, spinach, and locally produced sausage pieces. The pancakes were served cold, which was somewhat disappointing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hôtel À La Cour d’Alsace. Its excellent central location, spacious and comfortable rooms, free parking, effective air conditioning, peaceful garden setting, and friendly multilingual staff make it an excellent choice for visitors to

28/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms are simple, the bedding impeccable, the bathroom a bit dated. Breakfast is plentiful, but nothing is homemade. Regarding the spa, only the pool and sauna were open. There was no bar service available other than self-service tea. If you're looking for a "spa," look elsewhere.

16/05/2026: A wonderful experience at this ideally located hotel-brasserie! We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The room was immaculate, very clean, and comfortable. We also dined at the restaurant that evening, and everything was perfect. The value for money is excellent; the cuisine is delicious, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients. The servers are experienced, very friendly, attentive, and always pleasant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast is simple but very satisfying, with quality products and attentive staff. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this establishment!

18/06/2026: A very good experience at the K a Cuers bistro within the Kouros hotel. The €28 set menu was well-balanced with a variety of options. The service was very professional and friendly, provided by a very attentive young waiter. We will be back to try the summer menu.

A warm welcome 🥰 and truly excellent service (with extra care, given that my daughter-in-law is pregnant). We were given very attentive and knowledgeable information about the fresh products: fish, meat, and more… Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant, which is rare these days. We had dinner there in the evening and then breakfast the next morning, and everything was truly excellent quality, with very reasonable prices! But what impressed us most was undoubtedly the exceptional welcome from the entire team. Every member of staff was attentive, smiling, kind, and always ready to make our stay enjoyable. It's genuinely heartwarming to see, especially in a time when such kindness is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. We have an 11-month-old baby, and there's even a high chair available. He was very comfortable in it, and the staff were so kind to our little one, which really touched us. Thank you! ✨ A special mention goes to Manon, who showed remarkable gentleness, patience, and kindness towards us. Their professionalism and kindness truly contributed to making our experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, we didn't encounter a single unpleasant person during our stay; quite the opposite, in fact. The entire team deserves to be commended for their warm welcome and excellent service.
