10/08/2026: We went to this restaurant on Saturday, August 8, 2026, for my mother-in-law's birthday. The food was excellent, piping hot, and the staff was very pleasant. A small touch with dessert (for her birthday) was a nice touch. The value for money was excellent. We will definitely go back.

30/07/2026: Tried to visit for lunch. Aparently the kitchen closes at 15:30 (we arrived at 15) and we were told to hurry if we wanted anything to eat. This is written no-where on the webside and sine we where traveling with 3 kids we went elsewhere.

27/07/2026: The manager didn't give me a very warm welcome! Personally, I don't recommend it.

01/04/2026: Restaurant located in a former grocery store. Very welcoming, set menu with reasonable prices and local products. Sparkling aperitif 🥂 with a very smooth chestnut liqueur – a delight. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.

29/03/2026: We ate here on Valentine's Day for a champagne dinner. The dishes were superb. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, all accompanied by free-flowing champagne. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is fantastic, in a historic building in the center of Valence.

29/07/2026: A truly top-notch establishment, perfect cuisine, and an even better welcome. Highly recommended for a great evening. Excellent value for money. I'll be back on my next trip to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

24/07/2026: A very pleasant brasserie where they really take care of you. The owner is very friendly and enjoys chatting and interacting with customers. Lunchtime is brasserie-style with at least two dishes to choose from. Homemade food, I highly recommend it. Family-run establishment

14/07/2026: July 11, 2026: Warning... Frozen bread, way too much vinegar in my goat cheese salad, we'll blame it on the holidays... January 19, 2026: Midweek lunch, great atmosphere, the owners are super friendly, we chatted with everyone, even the other customers. The food is excellent and the portions are truly exceptional. We left with a smile and a full stomach. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

15/04/2026: Amazing boba with unique and delicious smaller tapioca pearls and fresh herbaceous tea! I recommend going low on sugar to enjoy the tea flavour and the sweetness of the boba! The smaller pearls don't get stuck in the straw coming up and choke you, it's weird that this isn't more common!

01/05/2026: Delicious homemade pizza. Tried the napolitaine (anchovy/olive), the capricieuse (ham/olive), and Caesar salad. Cute small local place. Owner doesn’t speak English but delivered perfectly on the food and cold beer.

30/04/2026: Absolutely adore this place. We happened across it by chance but came back to eat 3 times. The food is SO GOOD. Fresh, delicious, just on point homestyle cooking. Warm and filling without feeling heavy, and flavors were incredible. I think this is the peak of French cooking. Would really recommend the local dishes here. We tried multiple things over the three times we came, and everything we got was amazing. Also the owner is so kind and patient even with our lack of French. No other restaurant (including the fine dining) we tried here lived up to the standard set by D’Aqui d’Aia. We were joking that we were going to call the Michelin guide people. Truly this place is a gem. We will be coming back any time we are in Nice.

14/06/2026: The hosts were nice. The ambiance was okay. But in a restaurant, it ultimately comes down to taste. The salad dressing was extremely garlicky. The meat was so sinewy that not much of it was edible. The lasagna (daily special) was quite below average. The fries were good – but there really wasn't enough of them.

20/07/2026: Disastrous customer experience! I went to this workshop to have my bike fork replaced. During the initial visit, the technician took measurements and asked me to wait a week to order the part. An appointment was then scheduled, and I left my bike there for the entire day. When I returned that evening, he explained, in incomprehensible technical jargon, that the ordered fork was ultimately incompatible with my bike. I can understand that mistakes happen, but I expected at least an apology. Instead, I was simply advised to check at Decathlon, assuring them they probably had the part, which turned out to be completely false. The next day, I also noticed that my front rack was missing from my bike. After several unanswered attempts to contact them, I had to return to the workshop, adding another 5 km to my trip. The "professional" spent a considerable amount of time searching for my rack before finally finding it. He then explained that it hadn't been returned to me because... (brace yourself, this is serious): they had broken the screw holding it in place! Again, no apology, no information when I returned the bike, and no offer to repair or replace the screw. A problem occurring is one thing; not informing the customer, keeping their accessory without telling them, and acting as if it were normal is quite another! There's a word for this practice: ROUGH. In the end, several wasted trips, a day without my bike, a part ordered that didn't fit, an accessory not returned without explanation, and a complete lack of communication and customer service. A very disappointing experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. ...and that's not all! I left with my rack in hand to put it back on myself, but what he "forgot" to tell me was that the broken and stuck screw was in its housing. A little surprise from the manager, no doubt. Not to mention that I went back on my bike with a stem that wasn't tight enough, which is dangerous.

26/05/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. Every time we go, we're never disappointed. The food is excellent and the service superb. There's a sea view from the terrace.

27/07/2026: I’d wanted to visit Baratin for years after hearing so many great things from fellow food lovers, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Every dish was outstanding—simple, beautifully executed, and full of flavour. It was one of those meals that stays with you long after you’ve left. I can’t wait to go back. The only downside was the reservation process. Reservations are by phone only, and although my booking was accepted over the phone, I was told upon arrival that there was no record of it. Thankfully, we were still able to dine, but it was a disappointing start to an otherwise exceptional experience.

05/07/2026: We had a lovely time at Nounoute. If you're coming for seafood, you'll be delighted: the products are high-quality and you can tell they're carefully selected. The mussels à la cauchoise were particularly delicious, with an original and very flavorful recipe. The desserts were excellent too. Next to us, a table had ordered the seafood sauerkraut, which also looked excellent and very generous. However, one of us chose a turkey escalope. This was definitely the dish that impressed us the least: the quality of the meat didn't seem to live up to the rest of the menu, especially considering the price, which we found high. Regarding the prices, we also overheard a neighboring table remark that the mussels were quite expensive. It's true that the prices are geared towards a "holiday" feel, but when you're enjoying good seafood, it's understandable. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner regularly checks in on customers, and her strong personality adds to the charm and authenticity of the place. A good spot for seafood lovers, though a few dishes could be more in line with the rest of the menu.

19/08/2026: We appreciated the quality of the products, which were good and fresh. The location and service were also very good. However, we were a little disappointed with the crêpes because the batter lacked salt (or perhaps the quality of the buckwheat flour was poor) and we found it rather thick. The crêpes themselves were generous.
