06/08/2026: Discovered somewhat by chance, but recommended by the community, we stopped at this address. We weren't disappointed. It's a restaurant with soul, not a big chain. The food is generous, made with heart, using local products and prepared with care. The owner does everything (greeting/service/chef), and he does it well. It's a restaurant you stumble upon and return to for the pleasure and the atmosphere. Thank you again.

05/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place completely by chance, and what a wonderful discovery! The owner, who runs everything single-handedly, is absolutely charming and incredibly generous. From the moment you step inside, the old-fashioned ambiance, with its white tablecloths, cloth napkins, and knife rests, sets the tone: here, they take their time and appreciate true gastronomy. On the plate, the beautiful regional cuisine is elevated by high-quality ingredients and perfectly mastered culinary techniques. Everything exudes a love of cooking. Thank you for your kindness and your wonderful culinary spirit. We look forward to returning.

15/07/2026: Excellent place! We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at this restaurant. The menu was simple but very good, and the owner/chef was super friendly. The value for money is unbeatable. A great place to stop when visiting the surrounding area, especially Trecesson Castle.

10/07/2026: I only stayed in the hotel. No need for a luxury hotel with such a warm welcome! The manager is very pleasant and attentive. I think the comments about the bathrooms were taken into account because the bathroom was modern and clean. A really good experience, I recommend it.

The atmosphere is warm and authentic, perfect for a convivial and enjoyable meal. The service is attentive without being intrusive, which makes the meal even more pleasant. The waitresses are attentive and incredibly kind! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to leave with a full stomach! 😋🤗

18/08/2026: During a stop in Sainte-Bazeille, we had lunch at the brasserie. What a great find! A set menu (Monday to Friday, at lunchtime) with a starter, main course, and dessert for 18 euros. Excellent service, high-quality food. We were delighted with our meal, and the children were too (burgers!).

14/08/2026: A stop along the way, we had a coffee on the terrace, they had several dishes on the blackboard and good prices, attentive gentleman who served us and good service.

18/08/2026: This place is very busy, with only two servers for the entire restaurant, both inside and on the terrace, so they were overwhelmed and took a long time to serve, even bringing the bill. The food is recommended for their Beef Bourguignon, but unfortunately, the meat on my plate was dry and stringy, probably overcooked. The eggs meurette are okay. The crêpes Suzette, flambéed tableside, are good, and the blackcurrant ice cream is alright. Overall, a big disappointment. However, the wine selection is good and very reasonably priced.

22/08/2026: Delighted to have brought my friends to dinner at La Cascade, the staff were always attentive, the menu we chose (mussels from Dunkirk) was delicious, as was the wine we ordered with it, the staff always brought dessert with a smile, all this for a reasonable price, a restaurant to recommend, in a very beautiful and calm setting.

19/08/2026: We came for my grandmother's birthday, thank you so much for the candle and for offering us two aperitifs. However, we were disappointed by the constant noise in the room; I think it was the air conditioning or the ventilation. Otherwise, no complaints. Well done to everyone.
