15/06/2025: Classic cuisine with quality ingredients and well-prepared. Meat and fish are impeccably cooked. Service can be a bit slow at lunchtime; the establishment is a victim of its own success, but the terrace promises a pleasant, friendly place to wait in peace. I recommend it!

09/01/2026: The place is pleasant and the staff are friendly. However, the food isn't really up to par… the tchoutchouka, for example, isn't a simple, uncooked, sweet tomato and pepper salad served hot. In short, you can go there for the atmosphere, but not for the cuisine.

06/12/2025: I came one weekday evening for a drink and to share some appetizers (tapas-style, very good) with a friend. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service, and even the interaction with another customer who kindly offered us his seat next to the heater, knowing it was very cold that day. I'll gladly come back!

20/10/2025: A magnificent, timeless place, where you feel more like you're being welcomed by friends in their second home than like guests. We've been returning several times a year for several years, as a couple or as a family, both for intimate meals and birthdays. The wedding reception was also the venue for the marriage proposal, as we chose the date based on Frédéric and Céline's availability, as it was such a no-brainer. (No divorce planned for the moment, but if it does happen, it will also be celebrated there 😁) I won't comment on the rare negative reviews because everyone has different expectations and sensibilities, and while some people don't want to come back or advertise it, it guarantees only wonderful encounters during the "table d'hôtes" meals. 02/11/2025: A wonderful experience at La Boucane! The crepes, both sweet and savory, are excellent and beautifully presented. You can tell everything is homemade. The staff is welcoming and friendly, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. A place to recommend without hesitation!

02/12/2025: I went to buy a baguette, but when I got back to my car I noticed it was broken. I wanted to take it back to get another one because the bread wasn't presentable, but the owner refused to change it. He told me, "If you're not happy, that's the same thing."

12/10/2025: Being from Montélimar, I've been coming here occasionally for years, and I should mention that this restaurant is very popular. (I love the chestnut dessert 🌰 🌰 🌰 ). It's a place that may not be modern in terms of its structure, but it's so welcoming. I appreciate the quality of the products and the generously served traditional homemade cuisine, not to mention the price, which remains very affordable. I gave it 4 🌟 🌟 🌟 ⭐️ stars out of 5 because, quite simply, nothing in life should be perfect, and thankfully so. Thank you to the entire team. 27/05/2025: Since the change of chef, the menu evolves every week. Broadly speaking, we have a choice between cuts of meat, burgers, and vegetarian options, always at a good price for the location. The side dishes also vary, which is a very good thing for this corner of Lille, often stuck in gastronomy. The service is impeccable, the barmaid is smiling and creative in her cocktails, which I recommend!

You're the waitress every bar would dream of having. I have nothing more to add. The world needs to realize what an exceptional and fantastic waitress you are.

07/12/2025: We had booked dinner very early and hadn't realized that the kitchen didn't open until 7:00 pm. However, upon arrival, the server immediately informed us that there was nothing available yet. Our reservation wasn't even looked at, and the brusque manner of speaking made us feel like we'd been transported back in time. Thanks for nothing!

02/12/2025: The starter and dessert were very good, but we never got to try the main course because we had to leave early, according to the waiter. The atmosphere was oppressive, and we felt almost rejected as young people, as if it wasn't for us. The service was rude and slow, even though the restaurant was far from full.

05/12/2025: Had been on my list to go since they won the best baguette in 2024. So we stopped by since we were in the area- to find out they had so many more pâtisseries and bread to discover. So of course we went home with alot of things and wow, everything was delicious. Special mention for the pain au chataigne and the Pyrénées cake. Totally deserve all their wins.
