The staff is welcoming, smiling, and attentive, always available without being intrusive. The menu is extensive and offers a wide selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. The ingredients are fresh and expertly prepared, and the dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. A wonderful discovery, a place to try without hesitation if you're in the area.

04/01/2026: This is my second time here for sauerkraut, as I found the first time delicious! The meats are tender and flavorful. Next time, I'll dare to ask for extra cabbage! Thank you also for the service, which was very friendly and welcoming!

23/11/2025: Asian fondue for two: €68. For that price, we were served a small platter of defrosted meat swimming in its own juices, a shell-on egg placed directly on top, some basic vegetables, vermicelli noodles, generic fried rice, and a camping stove with some kind of broth. The quality was very poor, the presentation questionable, and the hygiene frankly debatable. We told the restaurant owner that the meal wasn't good: he simply laughed and took our money, without any attempt at self-reflection. I barely ate any of the meal. At that price, it's simply unacceptable. There's no reason to go back.

15/11/2025: A real gem for our first visit to Saint Jean Pied de Port! Despite being very busy, the welcome was friendly and warm, the service quick and cheerful, and the dishes delicious and seasonal. The wood pigeon salmis, for example, was to die for… Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

25/01/2025: Saturday 25, around 7 p.m., it was not possible to create your cake à la carte due to a lack of staff, a real shame and it's definitely not our problem. Unfortunately for us, the usual crispness of the pancake was not there and the filling was a little light. Dessert will be taken elsewhere!

09/06/2025: Passing by without a reservation this Whit Sunday, my sister and I loved everything! The welcome, our dishes, namely a Landes-style duck platter with foie gras, smoked duck breasts, rillettes, and sausages! Then, grilled squid and gourmet coffee, truly delicious

26/11/2025: Magnificent campsite with absolutely breathtaking views. The site is very well maintained, and the mobile homes are comfortable and modern. We had a pleasant stay, but here are a few important points to know before booking: • Sloping campsite: The entire site is hilly, which can make getting around quite challenging depending on your assigned pitch. • Accessibility: There are no facilities for people with reduced mobility or physical difficulties (no ramps, no handrails for access to the swimming pool, etc.). Due to medical reasons in our group, we had to use the car to get to the pool, which wasn't very convenient. • Entertainment: The entertainment was rather low-key and not particularly engaging. We hope this was due to the start of the season and that it will improve. • Kids' club: It is only accessible to children aged 5 and over. With two children aged 5 and 3, I wasn't allowed to accompany the youngest to participate with her, which ultimately led both of them to leave. • Internet connection: Wi-Fi access was practically nonexistent (neither on our pitch nor in the playground, and very weak in the restaurant). Hopefully, this is a temporary problem. In short, the campsite is superb, welcoming, and visually stunning. However, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, the quality of the entertainment, and the offerings for children under 5 fall short of what one would expect from this type of establishment.
