23/09/2026: Nice setup And good service but the food was a disappointment, i took the daily dish some sort of pork ribs that were way overcooked (almost burned) and chewy, likely frozen, entree and salad were ok. Setup is really nice by the river and the service was professional and friendly

20/06/2026: Excellent stay at the Maison du Lac Chalain. The room was cool (in this heatwave) and spacious, the bathroom was superb, and the bedding was excellent. In the evenings, they offered a selection of suitable menus. An ideal location for exploring the Jura lakes region.

10/06/2026: Very friendly welcome. Clean room, but poorly soundproofed. Restaurant: good food but presentation needs improvement. Breakfast was good: fresh bread and pastries.

27/09/2026: Near the Plénitude Arena where we went to see Celine Dion. At lunchtime, my wife and I had a spritz, just like homemade, with calf's liver and fish and chips, all homemade. The servers and the owner were very welcoming and friendly. So, after the concert, we came back as a group of eight and were welcomed as if we were visiting friends. The food was still excellent. 12/10/2026: Disappointing. We made a reservation a month and a half before the desired date (via email and phone). The reservation wasn't registered, so there was no room for my family, and no solution was offered. Check the day before your reservation if you're going... Luckily, an excellent restaurant in Cancale took us in at the last minute!

29/08/2026: This was a highlight of our visit to Paris. This tiny bar packs a big impact. I could almost touch the walls side to side when I reached out my arms. The owner welcomes you with his stories and wisdom of how he looks at the world. I just sat back taking, soaking it in. I travel to relish in moments like this. I’m so glad we stumbled into your place PJ to share a drink and some humanity. This is a bar not a restaurant to my knowledge.

19/08/2026: It was a great bar that didn't look like much from the outside, but the welcome was exceptional. As a woman, I love going there: I know nothing bad will ever happen to me and I feel completely safe. I thank them for their kindness towards people, and especially towards women. ❤️ Plus, the prices are very reasonable and they offer delicious, homemade French cuisine. Tonight, we tried a small pot-au-feu: a real treat! 😋 A place I recommend, whether you're a Parisian or just passing through: you'll always be warmly welcomed and protected. 🍷✨

07/09/2026: A lovely discovery this lunchtime with my husband, a friendly welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Excellent local produce, a delicious dessert, a very pleasant experience, we would have loved to return, unfortunately the restaurant will be closed until our departure... I highly recommend this establishment.

26/09/2026: Came on a Friday late night and got a Nutella crepe which was very good! Unfortunately, the service was rude for no reason which took a lot out of the experience. Both girls who helped us seemed exasperated and kept rolling their eyes even if we spoke to them in French and knew what we wanted. Thankfully we got the crepes to-go so we did not have to deal with it for too long. That being said, kindness goes a long way when you have other competing businesses on the same street (and also in life, generally). Maybe it was an off day but it was definitely a jarring experience.

23/09/2026: The crepe was drowned in pepper and herbs, resulting in an unpleasant taste and a rubbery texture.

05/10/2026: Second time at this restaurant. Still just as good. The €21 set menu is excellent value for money. Perfect service, very welcoming.

27/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! From aperitif to digestif, everything was perfect. The welcome was fantastic, friendly and warm, and the atmosphere immediately made you want to relax. We truly enjoyed ourselves from the appetizer to the dessert. A place we recommend without hesitation!

21/05/2026: Chez Chilo succeeds mainly in demonstrating that a high price can perfectly coexist with a very ordinary experience. Between a dark dining room, soulless decor, and a welcome that feels intrusive, the setting unfortunately does nothing to redeem it. The dishes themselves remain desperately mediocre considering the prices charged: little flavor, little originality, and above all, no justification for the advertised price. You leave with the impression of having paid the bill at a fine restaurant for an experience that never rises above the level of a run-of-the-mill brasserie.
