01/04/2026: We had already heard about this restaurant from friends and we were definitely not disappointed! Impeccable service, a warm and very professional owner, and superb food! And to top it all off, Mr. Franck Dubosc was seated at our table!

01/04/2026: Restaurant located in a former grocery store. Very welcoming, set menu with reasonable prices and local products. Sparkling aperitif 🥂 with a very smooth chestnut liqueur – a delight. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.

29/03/2026: We ate here on Valentine's Day for a champagne dinner. The dishes were superb. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, all accompanied by free-flowing champagne. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is fantastic, in a historic building in the center of Valence.

02/04/2026: Great place! The atmosphere was amazing. I believe Mark is the owner. He and his staff were really wonderful. They were on top of everything. Very friendly people. You felt very at home. Everyone talked to everyone. There were a lot of regulars there. A mix of English and French. The music was great. Chris Kern played that night and the whole place was hopping. Everyone was singing and dancing and having a great time. Beware of the steep steps to the bathroom. They are ancient and original to the building and really cool!

12/09/2026: A very warm welcome. We were a group of 19 people, booked at 11:30 am, and were greeted perfectly at 1 pm. Delicious meal, excellent homemade products. I highly recommend it.

22/07/2026: A security guard acting like a cowboy in the parking lot. I parked there intending to pick up some things from the deli across the street and then stop by the bakery, but he was so rude that I didn't buy anything. He even told me, "Don't come back." Don't worry, I'll spread the word!

12/09/2026: We had two piña coladas, one with and one without alcohol… both were carelessly poured into the glass, looking like they'd just been foamed up… or maybe they were straight from a carton. The spot by the street was simply loud and uncomfortable. The server only spoke French and no other language… When we wanted to order nuts with our drinks, they claimed they didn't have any. Odd, all the other tables had them. We paid inside… which smelled like manure…

07/09/2026: The ambiance and service were excellent. The lunch menu was okay, but unfortunately, the meat wasn't a highlight. These things happen, and it's only meant to be a minor drawback. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. We had a lovely time.

04/10/2026: We got married at La Terrasse on September 12, 2026, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to say a huge thank you to Barbara and Charles. They made organizing our wedding simple and stress-free. At every step, we felt listened to and supported, which allowed us to approach the preparations without any stress. We hadn't had the chance to taste the food or the appetizers before the big day: we trusted them. And we were blown away by the quality! It was delicious and so beautiful. The team was wonderful, everyone taking such good care of us and our guests throughout the day. If you're hesitating, go for it without hesitation: you're in very good hands.
