It's a bit more expensive on weekends, but the difference is justified by the more refined and less basic ingredients. There are also several choices of starters, main courses, and desserts, allowing you to enjoy a variety of dishes each time you visit. The portions are generous, and you'll leave feeling very satisfied. The staff is also very friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 29/11/2025: We go there regularly on Saturday lunchtimes when we're in Rennes. Never disappointed. The open-faced sandwiches and soups are very good. The welcome, decor, and atmosphere are always perfect. Craft beers and cider on tap. Very fast service.

21/04/2026: A typical bistro. If you like authentic food, this is the place to go. We didn't get to try the chicken in a pot; it wasn't one of their special days. The garbure (cabbage and bean soup) was more like cabbage soup, with no Tarbais beans. A shame.

04/01/2026: By far the best food we’ve had on our trip around Europe in the past 2 weeks. Arriving at the restaurant itself at night through the vineyards alone was already a uniquely fun experience. Their braised ham was cooked to absolute perfection(well worth the extra wait required), the black angus steak was also juicy and perfectly flavoured… If this was located in a touristy part of town they’d have 2 hour lineups for sure, but I sure am glad that this is a hidden gem.

22/12/2025: The best surprises are often the ones you stumble upon by chance. Discovered on my way back from the Colmar market, trying to escape the tourist traps and crowds. A lovely time spent enjoying traditional home-style cooking and professional, efficient service. Looking forward to returning next time.
