24/03/2026: Excellent restaurant! Congratulations to the kitchen staff 🧑‍🍳 Homemade smoked salmon and Gran Smith tuna tartare were excellent!! Monkfish medallions with baby vegetables and a slightly spicy lobster sauce… absolutely divine!! 👏 And to finish, rum baba and homemade profiteroles… including choux pastry and chocolate… highly recommended!! 👍 All perfectly complemented by a 2023 Menetou-Salon white from Isabelle and Pierre Clément's Domaine de Chatenoy… very, very good!! The manager is very knowledgeable about wines, judging by the extensive wine list!! 🍾🍷

14/03/2026: Coming from Lille, we were just passing through the area and had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The dishes were absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A big thank you also to the woman who served us; she was lovely, very welcoming, and attentive. It's truly a pleasure to be treated like that. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back!

14/03/2026: Second fondue and still delighted, very tasty. The charcuterie made by the owner is excellent. The owner's wife is incredibly kind and efficient. You can eat near the bar rather than in the main dining room for a quieter atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, at least on weekends.

13/03/2026: A warm, cozy atmosphere, like sitting by the fire or not too far away... the wooden decor and friendly service make it perfect! We're going back in June with some friends I've invited, and who knows, maybe the aperitif will be on the house 😉!

11/03/2026: Mixed feelings, even disappointed. The negatives: We chose the brazier for its unique appeal and the cut of meat it offered. Result: rather bland, lacking flavor. The meat was tender but tasteless. After mentioning this at the register, we were told: the beef fillet offered with the brazier doesn't really have the same flavor as a ribeye steak...🤔😳 So why offer it? At €28.50 for the dish, it would have been nice to have more flavorful meat. Especially since this cut of meat was from the Norman breed. So, we were disappointed with the brazier. The positives: The andouillette sausage is very good. The decor is very nice, the waitresses are professional. The parking lot is nearby.

18/02/2026: A fantastic meal for the saint's day. Honestly, we'll come back to try it on other days, as it seems to be a very high-quality restaurant. Exceptional value for money. But we'll have to see if this is the case with the daily menus.

06/03/2026: The inn offers a gourmet menu that changes seasonally from the chef's creations. The location is peaceful, the building is like a game of Tetris; take a stroll outside to admire the architecture and the slope of the hillside. Then, enjoy the walk opposite. It's a kind of little paradise on earth, all within the Caen ring road. For locals who know the area, or for visitors who have received good advice, the place is very cool and very popular on hot days. If you have a paddleboard or kayak, you can easily paddle from here to the Caen racecourse. Be aware that the return trip will be against the current; I recommend heading towards Louvigny and letting the current carry you back to your starting point.

25/03/2026: Visited especially to try the “Menu Morilles” launched using purely seasonal ingredients. This was a very successful menu showing the best ingredients from this time of year, and gave us a real taste of spring. Recommend to anyone who likes Morilles !
