Good French cuisine the way we like it, all in simplicity and exceptional taste! The value for money is there.
We will come back without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Marquise, the team is friendly and professional!

05/11/2024: We went to eat in this restaurant lost in the countryside and what a surprise... A charming inn in a very small village which is worth the detour. Refined and excellent dishes, perfect service and dessert.... A coffee tiramisu with stacciatella mousse... A delight! I would return without hesitation.
28/10/2024: What a fantastic place. It should almost not be shared to preserve its beauty. Food is exquisite, warm welcome by talentuous people. It’s the best stop ever !

28/09/2024: We went here for dinner. The restaurant is small, and it has a warm atmosphere. It is preferable to make a reservation in order to assure you have a place. The service was great and fast and the food was really good. Recommend if you want to eat some french cuisine.

02/11/2024: Great meal on the terrace with magnificent sunshine. We were too hot in the middle of November. The dish was excellent and plentiful, a slight drawback for the desserts. The chocolate pear tart was just a shortbread tart with pastry cream, chocolate chips and 3 pieces of raw pear placed on top…..
The dessert was very good.

18/09/2024: Nice restaurant with a good warm atmosphere. We had a very pleasant evening. The dishes were pretty and good, everyone was happy with their dish. Small comment however for the Royal chocolate which we found far too salty.

12/01/2025: We visited this restaurant on January 11, 2025 (a Saturday evening) without a reservation. We were extremely well received, accompanied by our dog. The menu offered is rich and diverse. The dishes are very well presented. The cod fillet and duck fillet that we ordered were very well prepared and we enjoyed it. The desserts (soft pistachio cake and blueberry tartlet) were also delicious. The staff is very efficient and caring. We didn't have to wait between courses. We highly recommend this restaurant. It was a great discovery and we will come back with great pleasure.

11/09/2024: On est "tombé" dessus par hasard... quelle belle expérience, le menu du jour pour monsieur...un paleron de bœuf fondant à souhait 😊 et un très copieuse salade paysanne pour madame...sans parler du dessert, gourmand ! Des produits frais, des prix corrects et une petite salle derrière très tranquille !
Superbe découverte, allez y sans hésiter !
06/09/2024: Restaurant that doesn't look like much, taken at random on the way back from Geneva. I loved the eggs meurette, and the crispy reblochon salad was delicious. To finish, a double scoop of blackcurrant whipped cream 😋. Honestly, it’s worth the detour.

12/12/2024: Déçue, jai invitée une amie pour son anniversaire, elle a pris un merlu bien trop cuit et moi une pièce de boeuf 😂 jai eu l'impression d'avoir un menu enfant. Honnêtement je ne retournerai pas dans ce restaurant. 😔😔😔 22 € l'entrée et plat .cest une honte de servir un plat principal aussi médiocre.

02/09/2024: Superb evening spent with friends at L’Abbaye de Villeneuve.
We loved everything, the abbey itself, the kindness of the staff, the obvious dishes which delighted us from the first to the last, the accuracy of the wine pairing and this unforgettable moment when we were able to meet the chef and his team .
Special mentions to Marthe, the sommelier, the different waitresses and chef who served us and were absolutely adorable, the bartenders and of course the Chef!
