17/04/2026: The place was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. However, the portions were far too generous and delicious; we completely undid the benefits of a week of intensive skiing. That's unacceptable! We'll be back next year, thank you for everything.

08/06/2026: Thomas ruined it for me plus he asked other tables to leave positive reviews of him?? Food was mediocre at best, pricey but for the location passable so no major complaints there. Thomas my server was however horrendous, from being rude, confrontational to downright hostile, he was like this with everyone to an extent but worst with me (possible because I’m not French?). Kept making snide remarks and saying stuff like Yes Yes you want free water, free water…. He took it pretty personally when I asked for tap water btw and proceeded to belittle me for it for the entire experience…. All the other servers seemed fine but Thomas was a piece of work. To make matters worse I think he’s hanging on by a thin line, every table but mine he asked people to leave a positive review with his name on Google reviews…. I mean ok …. One guy couldn’t leave till he did….

04/07/2026: This morning, we had a nasty surprise at the Bar du Commerce in Montélimar. We were a group of eight and received a very poor welcome from the owner: a curt tone, a lack of politeness, and discourteous service. Montélimar isn't a seaside resort, but a minimum of respect for customers is essential. Disappointing—I don't recommend it.

30/06/2026: Depuis août 2020, changement d'ambiance, le serveur n'a visiblement pas envie de travailler. Dommage. A éviter.

30/05/2026: Only tight-fitting swim trunks are allowed in the swimming pool. That would have been helpful information beforehand. The Tesla charging stations haven't received an update in a long time. Therefore, newer Tesla models/vehicles can't charge there. Relying solely on the operator's Wi-Fi is a real disgrace. They refer you to other locations, but nobody could tell me if it works there.

29/05/2026: A truly fantastic campsite, starting with the warm welcome! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The water park is great, the campsite is very shady and clean, overlooking the river. We had a 4-star Buis cottage, which we absolutely loved – very comfortable and spacious! Thank you for this wonderful stay.

05/07/2026: Excellent crêperie by the sea! A must-visit if you're in Saint-Jean-de-Monts. The galettes are delicious, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The service is impeccable; the waitresses are smiling, welcoming, and very pleasant. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place!

05/04/2026: The food was good overall. The lamb shank was tasty, but the side vegetables were limp, probably frozen, which was a shame. My husband had the andouillette sausage; he liked it but found it "just like homemade." We finished with a cheese plate, which was nothing special. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiter was agreeable.

04/06/2026: After the change of ownership, only the name remains. Unfortunately, it's no longer comparable to the former quality. The beer glass was only three-quarters full, and instead of rosé (as ordered), white wine arrived. The appetizer and main course were served simultaneously. Good question: what do you want to enjoy hot, and what will get cold? The tellines were served in a thick, tasteless flour sauce. No thanks. After more than ten years, we will no longer be guests at Le Chalut and will find another restaurant in beautiful Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

12/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the reimagined, original, and delicious dishes :)) The "Patranque" - an Auvergne specialty revisited by the chef, was a delight and very easy to digest 😋

11/07/2026: An address to remember. In a pleasant setting, with a discreet yet warm welcome, we enjoyed delicious local cuisine of a very high standard at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend it; these young people deserve to succeed.
