18/09/2024: Charming hotel where we appreciated the calm, the view of the viaduct, the comfort and the availability of the staff.
18/08/2024: Beautiful place but a shame that the exterior facades were coated with cement so as not to leave the stone visible like on the tower. Garden maintenance is also a priority because of some weeds. Decoration not to our taste. On the other hand, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean.

The food is a real treat: generous, well-presented, and delicious dishes. The ingredients are fresh, the cuisine is homemade, and it shows!
The value for money is excellent, whether for a weekday lunch or a more festive dinner. The terrace is also very pleasant when the weather permits.
A beautiful place to return to with pleasure. Congratulations to the entire team for their hard work!
13/06/2025: Restaurant that offers rather basic food. I was neither disappointed nor surprised. A little expensive for what it is, that said. The waitress was a little weird but not mean. When someone says thank you, smile back :) instead of being weird...

Quiet and tucked away in a lush garden, this restaurant combines magnificent antique decor, classic yet refined, tasty and generous cuisine, high-quality service, and a great deal of attention to detail. A rare gem.

This inn, run by a woman as warm as she is passionate, offered us a moment of silence. The cuisine is generous, flavorful, and prepared with love and taste. Each dish tells a story, and the charming setting adds to the experience. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

16/07/2024: Vi fikk en servitør som ikke var bra. Vi ga tidlig beskjek om at bein marg var for kald, biff tartart ble servert med håt og Confit du canard vat brent og smaksløs. Får ikke til å legge ut min anmeldelse på googglo og det er beklakelig
16/07/2024: This place was recommended to us and what swayed us was the service. We had a bit of trepidation about reserving a table here as it couldn’t be as good as expected… but it was. The server was humorous and engaging… the food was excellent (the bread and garlic sauce pre-dinner was awesome)… Escargots, Salad Tomate, Beef Bourginon, Steak Tartare… it was all really good.
We would go back again.

10/12/2024: Locale pittoresco e molto accogliente molto conosciuto ad Arbois. Si mangia dignitosamente spendendo pochissimo, eccellente il carrello dei formaggi, consigliatissimo per l'aperitivo, si bevono bellissime bottiglie a prezzi onestissimi, staff molto gentile e disponibile.
13/10/2024: Sur la route de nos vacances nous avons fait une halte pour déjeuner à Arbois au bistrot des Claquets. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise dans ce petit resto à la décoration vintage où l'on est accueilli avec le sourire dans une ambiance décontractée. Cuisine familiale et goûteuse comme on aime !!!! Bon rapport qualité prix...on ne peut faire que des compliments ...

04/09/2024: During our last family lunch at Chez Prune restaurant, we had a memorable time.
The old and rustic setting of the restaurant creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a family meal.
We were all delighted to taste the arrabiata pasta, which was simply exceptional.
The sauce was flavorful, with just the right amount of heat, and the pasta was cooked to perfection.
A real treat for lovers of Italian cuisine!
To accompany our meal, we opted for a good red wine, a Merlot which turned out to be an excellent choice.
Its fruity taste and sweetness perfectly complemented our dishes.
In summary, Chez Prune is an address to recommend for those looking to enjoy delicious pasta in a charming setting.
We hope that this place will be able to preserve its authentic atmosphere for the pleasure of future visitors.

07/09/2024: Came to eat on the terrace with my family, we had an excellent time.
From starter to dessert, we had a great discovery, both visual and gustatory.
Not being a fan of red, I nevertheless let myself be tempted by the proposed pairing, and it was a nice surprise.
I highly recommend and will return with great pleasure.

15/09/2024: Des nouveaux propriétaires depuis 2 jours, le chef est resté ainsi que les serveurs
La cuisine est toujours excellente de même que le service.
Un gros problème avec le chef. Il n'a pas arrêté de hurler sur sa brigade et les serveurs. La cuisine étant attenante à la salle du restaurant, nous avons participé !!!!
Nous venons depuis plus de 20 ans dans ce merveilleux endroit mais nous n'avons jamais assisté à une telle situation.
Cela a gâché notre plaisir.
Après discussion avec un des 2 associés, il nous a promis qu'il allait faire le nécéssaire...
